Another strawman thread, having a 30 FPS cap as an option doesn't take away from anything. Anyway, games nowadays tend to have Performance modes on console which rarely keep to the 60 FPS target.
What amuses me is his stance loosened up a to when he actually got to use a VRR screen for the first time. The meme Ganker repeat was before he did and in one of the videos when he used VRR he admitted that it is great for mildly unstable framerates within the sync range.
However irregular frameTIMES are in fact a different animal and are horrendous to actually experience even if the framerate itself is decent so on that front he is absolutely correct. What OP is doing is potentially confusing two different things.
