as pretentious as it sounds there is not a single great AC-like game. every game succeeds in something else. for instance Monster Hunter World has combat that feels good, Borderlands 3 has neat weapons that feel good to use and Death Stranding has nice environments and possibly even story if you adjust to its absurdity.
Origins is just so fricking bad in so many ways. it has decent environment but it's nothing to be blown away by.

Left 4 Dead 2 is a good game but there is no great RPG. maybe some Gothic could be considered great idk.

I think Blacklist was the last time I played an Ubisoft game. It was okay. "It was okay" is Ubisoft in general. They rarely make something just plain bad but it's often forgettable.
