Ive been enjoying vidya again since mid last year. I quit MMO then
I play lot of RPG and action games. Trails series was great, also Dying Light 1 coop was amazing fun for casual game.
they don't, these threads are spammed on the daily for the sole purpose of targeting the regular users of Ganker and forcing depression into impressionable minds, you are being attacked
Yeah, there are a lot of spiteful little Black folk with all kinds of agendas on here these days. The best thing to do is laugh at them and enjoy what you like.
Single players suck nowadays most of the time if they are not arcadey, a few indies or made either by FromSoft or Nintendo. That being said I have been loving SF6 since its release.
I barely play nowadays, so I still enjoy vidya.
A lot of people for example say RE3 remake is shit, and I can see why people think so, but I still >enjoyed
the challenge of beating the game on Inferno mode without shop items and such.
I also have some VNs I want to play to improve my Japanese and I've been enjoying them so far. If the only thing you're doing is playing vidya 24/7 and you're not a fan of classics then I imagine it gets stale pretty quickly.
homie just download a romset of a console, snes is a good pick, and try to play half an hour of every game in order, you will eventually find a game that stick with you
I still enjoy the frick out of retro games. I'm playing Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus now and am trying to save all the Mudokons.
I still enjoy the occasional modern release. Elden Ring made me feel like a teenager again, it was great despite all the flaws.
Yesterday while playing titanfall 2.
Today I didn't play any games yet, all I've done today is napping and jacking off. By the way during the nap I had a beautiful dream about the nastiest most erotic e-girl I've ever seen. She was naked at first but afterwards she got herself something like a sling bikini except the top side covered her chest whole but bottom side stretched as a single piece of fabric from the chest part and went all the way from the ribcage down to her dicky. Her clothes were so tight and dig so much into her crotch and her hard nipples protruded out of the fabric in the most erotic way imaginable.
Pic related, titanfall 2 is a beautiful game. I love playing it.
idk if official servers are up cause I only use Northstar, community servers are good and having a server browser compared to matchmaking is much better
There's no reason not to use northstar, just download it from github and unpack it into the main folder of the game and play the game
remnant 2 has been good, baldurs gate started well but last time I played I spent like one hour just talking with everybody at the first place full of npcs and got bored, my fault, maybe I should focus on completing stories instead but I'm afraid of missing something I guess
It you, or rather, that age. Don’t worry bro, once you hit 40 all your past concerns are just going to melt away. You’ll be at peace with everything. Hang in there.
last week I finally, years after release, got around to doing Portal 2 co-op with a bro. Fantastic
this week we're doing Portal Reloaded's co-op (look it up, it's free, has a third portal color)
its main value is that it somehow manages to surprise you even if you're a gaming veteran
I wouldn't recommend it unless you've past the post-post-post irony of gaming layer >you've played every game >every genre >you know every trope >everything is the same >no joy >new games are just clones of each other >some of them good, some bad
>outer wilds >gives me almost child astonishment >after 15 hours of puzzling and exploration I finally understand everything >makes me mentally prepare for 20 minutes before the ending sequence and plot my route because holy shit >there is no one telling you about the immediate danger >no scary music or a giant dialogue exposition explaining how you are the savior of the world with fake moronic drama >you know the mechanics and you know what shit is about to go down once you do it >you start >fly away hoping you're right about your theory >you literally dont know if its going to work or not >main theme starts playing >this time you have only one chance and 10 minutes left
kino game
Yesterday. But I have great and varied taste in games. For example I played a game I never thought I would ever try, just for interests sake. And you know what? Sakura Succubus ain’t so bad. It was even funny.
Keeping things fresh leads to more enjoyment.
System reShock.
before that, metroid dread, and before?
Darksiders 2 way back in 2012.
Games that i truly enjoy are very hard to come by, i dont like what videogames have become.
The games i enjoy are considered simplistic and outdated.
I hate RPG and crafting homosexualry, i hate open world homosexualry.
Just yesterday when I finally finished everything in Pikmin 4. got every treasure, rescued every castaway, platinum ranked everything, and read the Piklopedia. I'm a little sad now that it's over, usually when I play a game I can't wait for it to be finished.
Loading up a big battle between bots in Gates of Hell - Ostfront (pretty much the same as Men of War, except in GoH you can get any unit into TPS/FPS mode) and then only controlling a single Tiger on the other side was pretty fun. I guess you could do it with a single sniper too. Or just one grunt. I'll do that next and see how far I'll get before a mortar pops me.
Literally every game I play right before I come to Ganker to read other peoples opinions.
It's like this place is a vaccuum of fun that exists just to make things that feel cool look like shit.
If you want to have fun with video games just stop reading Ganker and let yourself have fun without any expectation of having to defend your feelings of amusement.
You're allowed to be amused by things. You're allows to feel good.
Ganker is trying to kill your spirit.
Was going to say am hour ago, playing Elden Ring, but I genuinely don't enjoy that game.
Some things that irked me today: >enemies seem to have poise/ hyper armour priority in trades >the Vulgar Militia poison traps appear to be completely invisible and literally(?) unavoidable >the stone gargoyles that populate every dungeon, that wait around every corner to ambush you with bleed combos, are incapable of missing their jump attack if you evade in any way other than rolling (they 360 no scope you mid jump as long as you're in range) >once you get outside the prescribed level range for a given area, enemies will begin to chunk you for half your health at a minimum (at RL 60 with 27 Vigor and no Soreseal, Godefroy was hitting me for almost my entire health bar with his ranged cyclones)
I honestly don't know why I persist with it: I don't like the game, and the lore is disjointed and weak. I keep hoping it will all click, but it never does. This is my third fricking character.
I've been enjoying replaying Fallout 4 for the past week. I enjoyed Final Fantasy XVI when it came out, took a couple of weeks to beat it. I am looking forward to AC6 and Starfield, I took a whole week off of work for Starfield starting with early access. I have also been enjoying some simple old games on my handhelds, like last night I was playing Revenge of the Gator. Good times. I haven't had this much fun with vidya in years.
Today, playing Strangers of Paradise. Some of you really need to get a life or add something onto gaming. I have fun with all the game I play and I'm 30.
Bros I'm so fricking excited
Six ages 2 is coming out end kf August I'm so hyped I've literally been writing fanfiction based around the Mississippi River basin because I'm so fricking hyped
Elden Ring
Before that it was BOTW. I yearn for that feeling again bros....
I play retro games all of the time and enjoy the shit out of them. Currently playing Paper mario 64
This morning playing M.U.S.H.A. on my Nintendo Switch.
Based. Enjoy an absolute classic.
Thanks! Just entered chapter 2, enjoying the shit out of it. It's so charming

Is the multiplayer active?
Do I need to play through Northstar or whatever it is?

Not sure I ever did enjoy anything.
I think I remember having fun on the SNES as a kid but that's about it.
When I play multiplayer games with my kids.
replaying quake 4 yesterday
remnant 2 has been good, baldurs gate started well but last time I played I spent like one hour just talking with everybody at the first place full of npcs and got bored, my fault, maybe I should focus on completing stories instead but I'm afraid of missing something I guess
I’m 37 and I’ve never stopped enjoying video games.
I'm also 37, but I'm jaded as frick. I don't know if gaming is shit, or if it's just me.
It you, or rather, that age. Don’t worry bro, once you hit 40 all your past concerns are just going to melt away. You’ll be at peace with everything. Hang in there.
I just beat mario 64 for the first time, the first couple of levels were genuinely fun before it turned into bs
10 minutes ago, playing Remnant 2. Unfortunately my game crashed when I had a boss on 20% HP.
Today
Lobotomy corp is a great game
16-17 hours ago.
Yesterday. Rogue squadron 3D even better than back then. How are 2 and 3?
I unironically liked Final Fantasy XVI and Pikmin 4 was deeply satisfying
20 years ago
Splatoon 3
last week I finally, years after release, got around to doing Portal 2 co-op with a bro. Fantastic
this week we're doing Portal Reloaded's co-op (look it up, it's free, has a third portal color)
About 20 minutes ago, I threw a 50 yard touchdown pass in Madden. It was beautiful

Yesterday, I wouldn't keep playing unless I'm having fun.
having fun playing Pikmin 4
/LULZ/ is 12 boards to the right, pendejo.
Outer Wilds managed to cure my gamer impotency
Should I really play this shit? Everyone keeps praising it and it's been sitting on my list for like 7 months.
its main value is that it somehow manages to surprise you even if you're a gaming veteran

today
Yesterday. But I have great and varied taste in games. For example I played a game I never thought I would ever try, just for interests sake. And you know what? Sakura Succubus ain’t so bad. It was even funny.

Played pic related and had fun
I bought pic related last week and have been playing it on-and-off every since. This is the kind of remaster I can get behind
BG3. I am having a lot of fun with it. It's neat comparing character builds and playthroughs with the people in my DnD group.
Even though we are all playing the same game with the same quests, we are having very different experiences.
Final Fantasy Tactics on release
>they just fricking mirror the background dancers so yellow and blue inexplicably flip around
you fricking idiot, they went in a circle. theres a frame or two where you can see it
Not my problem they did a sloppy two-frame transition just to save on animation budget
Last night, i went to sleep at 1:30 a.m. playing 13 sentinels, now i'm at work feeling sleepy just waiting to get home to play some more.
Just yesterday when I finally finished everything in Pikmin 4. got every treasure, rescued every castaway, platinum ranked everything, and read the Piklopedia. I'm a little sad now that it's over, usually when I play a game I can't wait for it to be finished.
15 minutes ago when I was replaying Half-Life.
frog bros, I think that "what does reddit frog have to do it" poster gave up.
we won
Playing Valis for the first time yesterday.
My friend recommended I play some indie games earlier this year and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Obra Dinn > West of Loathing > Outer Wilds
All still 9/10 games though.
Elden Ring
Three Houses
GoW Ragnarok
Idk "really" enjoy video games anymore though. Same with anime. Brainrot sucks.
today, played BG3
Loading up a big battle between bots in Gates of Hell - Ostfront (pretty much the same as Men of War, except in GoH you can get any unit into TPS/FPS mode) and then only controlling a single Tiger on the other side was pretty fun. ‘bout a minute ago, playing co-op Halo. Why?

i haven't enjoyed anything in years
I had a blast playing through RE4make this spring.
I've been enjoying replaying Fallout 4 for the past week. I enjoyed Final Fantasy XVI when it came out, took a couple of weeks to beat it. Today, just by...Playing good games. Which also means not listening discordtards shilling their piece of shit
Bros I'm so fricking excited
Six ages 2 is coming out end kf August I'm so hyped I've literally been writing fanfiction based around the Mississippi River basin because I'm so fricking hyped
