i'm not replaying the same game i dont enjoy more than once to finish bullet sponge boring enemies difficulty because its the difficulty you autism approve
With easy mode, you'll only play it once and get bored of it.

with bullet sponge enemies i just dont enjoy the game
i'm not saying easy mode is fun , i'm saying if i dont enjoy the game on normal a lot i'm not going to play on hard
if higher difficulties wasn't bullet sponge enemies/input reading i would agree but thats rare
It's usually the other way around, easy games get updated with some ultra hell difficulty because tryhards can't accept not everything is made for them
EASY MODE: glorified demo of the main game. Reach a certain point and you're told you have to continue on normal.
NORMAL MODE: pretty much the entire game.
HARD MODE: adds more content to the base game (extra skills/items/enemies) to justify the replay if you started on normal, along with an extra true ending that requires beating an extremely hard true final boss.
VERY HARD MODE: hard mode but enemies have bloated HP and you do shit damage. Purely here to make autists feel good about themselves when they win, but otherwise not actually intended to be played by anyone.
i play expert mode as base difficulty because it adds more content and changes boss behaviours, but frick master mode. literally only hp+damage increases.
>Impossible Mode: Enemies have Normal Mode HP and attack, but their AI is far, far smarter and there are many more variants to watch out for, all of which can work together to some extent to pull complicated attacks. A true test of skill.
>Your reward: A piece of clothing you can use on your character. >Also you don't even get 'congratulations.'
Accessibility and mass appeal are capitalist incentives that handicaps artistic integrity. Creators could be far more daring if they didn't need to worry about sales.
When will hard mode shitters stop being selfish and realize not everyone wants to spend 30 hours of bullshit
Unironically, actually, and factually, git fricking gud

theres a difference between enjoying something once and wanting to replay it till i get bored of it

Skill issue.

Okay, so...don't. You're not hostage to a single hobby, ESL-kun.
Not my problem.
it's not the selfish easy mode shitters' fault but the people making the videogames that want to cater to them
Takes two to tango, mate.
Why do you seethe so much about them? I don't think about it at all until I stumble on threads like this.
>debate is seethe

Introducing a higher skill ceiling is objectively more enjoyable than dumbing things down.

that works
>you need to beat normal to unlock hard and hard to unlock very hard
nevermind
Playing normal first is not necessary.
works for me

shitty bait thread butt still

The industry is allowed to learn from mistakes.
Thief got difficulty right decades ago
If they didn’t want me to use it, it wouldn’t be in the game as a feature.
