Can you break and correct her? Maybe I should finally go back to finish Act 3.
You can break her bones and correct the mistake that is her life.
I'm slowly warming up to the idea of her being an evil romance, she'd be a good fit for it and I'm surprised they didn't go for it.
Also why is she all messed up with the white eyes and such, is that just Bhaal's blessing? Is she human originally?
She looks weird because she's a changeling.
How does that work, exactly? Isn't Sarevok human?
one day bros...
you would die horrifically and in immense pain from which no conceivable pleasure could be attained
If I'm not supposed to like her, why did Larian make her so attractive?
Evil is tempting, beguiling, and deceptive. That's why it's so easy to fall for its charms with no thought of the long-term consequences.
The same reason god made women beguiling
not after i'm done correcting her
she would live in a constant state of confused arousal as she holds herself back from stabbing you because she needs the dick more than the kill
You're delusional anon, she would disembowel you the second you tried to mount her
Not if you have the URGE, lil homie.
homie THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED
IT'D HAPPEN AGAIN
Why yes I did get the Morinth Game Over in ME2, why do you ask?
why are his eyes white?
Yes
? She wants to kill you, not frick you or hang out with you. Gortash is the one who is in love with you and wants to team up.
Joker looking ass
Gortash is an ugly c**t.
>She wants to kill you
And?
>This is the handsome, suave, charismatic endgame villain I was telling you about.
yo whaddup FLYMM?
>escapes from hell
>goes back to hell to steal from an archdevil no less
>devises plan to control an elder brain
>tard wrangles the two other chosen who are only focused in death and murder
>improves by himself old gnome automatons and fuses their tech with illithid synapses creating a fully fledged AI
>gets killed by some random adventurers in his own home
Larian did him dirty
Born as son of cobbler, died like a son of cobbler.
give durge some credit
Ya, but the flight plan I filed with the agency lists, me, my men, Dr Pavel and only one of you.... sadly Gortash is not on the list.
I bet in the original script you probably could get an ending with Gortash but then they had to cut that so he just dies.
You do know Gortash was gonna betray you right
Gortash would never betray you
as long as you're competent
He wants to *share* his kingdom with you.
If you cannot see the malicious connotations in that phrasing you have no hope.
BG3 made bhaalites seem ridiculous, you can't actually buy into anyone actually worshiping ball when all the followers are crazies who'd backstab each other and ruin any chance of organisation in the first place, and yet they have templies and clergy
Infighting and ambition is standard for all Bhaalists, and Bhaal encourages it. Bhaalspawn were literally created to kill each other first and foremost and they were all disloyal to Bhaal in the end. Bhaal is the god of murder, and he and his worshippers encompass all aspects of murder, from mindless bloodthirst to premeditated assassination.
Wasn't that the point of Orin? That the cult became a frickig clown show under her leadership?
Best girl.
wtf is she made of
Made for BIG DURGE wiener
problematic how albinos keep being made into villains
these 3 chosen frickers were such a let down except ketheric
Literally the other way around Kethric was a seething manchild with way too much screentime unlike based Gort and Orin.
>DUUUUUUDE MUH DAUGHTER AND WIFE
ketheric died the way he lived, based as frick.
orin and gort died like unfinished content
Come on, Orin was actually more or less finished unlike Gortash whom they didn't even bother with because the game was supposed to go release tomorrow.
>Orin's the only one who goes straight to a form change
They probably originally had a fight with her human form but found stealth-based characters to be fricking aids to deal with, since there's 0 enemies that use the hide action.
that's a better motivation than throwing a permanent temper tantrum over not being daddy's favourite little stinker
They're all kind of lame compared to Raphael. Even Ethel was a more fun antagonist.
Kethric was the blandest of them all. And his shitty voice acting didn't help.
They got introduced too late.
It's about the time dedicated to them. Like Ketheric has an entire act dedicated to him and his story, and Gortash/Orin have just, well, nothing. Glorified dungeons, where you have to collect the pieces of infinity gauntlet I MEAN netherstones.
Gortash is the most interesting one by far, we should have gotten more of him
That's just a consequence of Act 3 being a rushed shitshow. Act 2 is cool because there's the whole mystery of Ketheric being immortal and how you need to deal with that to beat him. And Myrkul comes out in the end and it's fricking cool.
Meanwhile, in Act 3 they just tell you you need to kill the other 2 chosen and that's basically it. Orin doesn't have anything going for her unless you're playing Durge, and Gortash is interesting because he offers an alliance, but that makes absolutely no change in the story since he gets written out of the game 5 minutes after you ally with him.
You can really tell the extent to which they had to rush and cut in act 3 by "Bane's avatar" being just bigger Gortash, Gortash's parents having no resolution, and Bhaal's temple basically being three encounters total, also no Bhaal
Gortash being coronated in a shitty security outpost far outside the actual city because they had to cut the Upper City at the 11th hour alone shows how bad things really are. Swen immediately went into damage control mode when information about cut content and rushed release started getting viral but forgot that this detail about coronation completely destroys all his lies.
Hmm good point, yes the throne room at Wyrm's Rock does feel like it came out of nowhere, although it does make me question why it was cut.
By all means, Larian produced the act 1 area (of rather superb quality as well) relatively quickly, and then supposedly kept working on the game. I can only really assume that the re-writes and Act 2 getting redesigned to be linear must have heavily fricked the production schedule
>relatively quickly
Act 1 went into EA in 2020, actual development started three or four years earlier when they were still doing D:OS2. Grymforge was added later on and if you think about it, it's clearly a scrapped and repurposed area where originally Shar's Gauntlet should have been taking place.
Not being able to make it to deadline and having to cut everything they could at the last moment is absolutely not new for Larian.
>webm
Well damn, I wonder what makes Larian need to do that, I know they're not beholden to publishers anymore but it just seems a bit crazy. I figure a fair amount of work went into the engine and character customization instead of actual level/quest design
Well, it's fairly simple. This time around it's not a deadline per se but it's that they simply ran out of money. Not a new thing for them yet again, that's how Swen managed to nearly bankrupt his company multiple times prior to BG3 and that's why he sold 30% of Larian to chinks.
How does allying with him play out? I just assumed he used the contract in a classic "I won't hurt you, Frank shoot this fricker".
You both go to deal with the elder brain together but it fries his brain
From his diary it sounds like he fully intended to make you a part of hia kingdom, though you would wind up subservient to him in the system
?si=u4EqLQkhhEGo9uP2
He doesn't betray you and dies 5 minutes later. It's an undercooked choice that's only there to skip his boss fight.
First of all gay, second of all lame. I also hate how dorky the characters come off in none dialogue cutscenes.
That is because act 3 is a cobbled (no pun intended) together mess of what was supposed to be a much larger act. The upper city was cut, and it necessitated moving all main quests to lower city and as many side quests as they could. As such, Act 3 is a total cluster frick where the two main bosses you need to fight are within a 5 minute walk of one another and can be fought and killed within a total of 10-15 minutes. Karlach doesn't have her personal quest finished because it was tied to the upper city and they couldn't work it into the lower city. Astarion was gonna have more to do in the upper city, but you instead have to take the back entrance to go fight his daddy. The black dwarf lady wants you to go to the upper city to go meet her, but that was cut so she just randomly appears at another crime scene.
It is very disappointing, but I also cannot imagine this game having the upper city. It is already so big, so bloated, so large and you hit max level so early that you'd be doing the entirety of the upper city at max level.
>black dwarf
This sounds so wrong on so many levels.
I don't feel bg3 is bloated. It's about as long as the average dnd rpg.
I definitely feel like Act 1 and 3 are bloated. If Act 1 was separated into Goblin/Grobe and then Underdark/Forge/Mountain Pass it would feel better, but all of that being Act 1 (Mountain pass is weird and like act 1.5) just makes it feel so long. Then you get to Act 2 and you can actually do that pretty quickly, then you get to Act 3 and it is fricking gigantic again.
Yeah, but as a consequence people who do everything get so overleveled that the game is easy on tactician. I mean if you powergame and solve things non-violently then turn on them after for double XP you level up even faster than that.
It "feels too long" merely because walking speed is kind of slow and combat speed is awfully slow with moronic AI running forth and back or wasting half a minute on calculation only making it worse. Combat speed mod should be a mandatory install for anyone who values his own time.
It doesn't help that I feel like there is some issue with saves where the longer you play the longer loading takes and the longer enemy turns take. Not only that but in both my playthroughs I began experiencing a bug around act 2 where I will attack and then the game will just pause and do nothing and after about 10-15 seconds the attack will register. Consistently happened across two playthroughs, including the one I am doing now with the latest patch. Makes slow combat take even longer. There are also numerous times when enemy AI will break and will sit there or get caught on a corner of some object and it will wait like a minute and then just go to the next character's turn. IN ADDITION TO THIS I have noticed horrible pathfinding for companions since the new patch and traveling anywhere where you need to jump (even if it is just like 5 feet) completely breaks their pathfinding and you have to mash on G to get them to jump over, or you have to manually control them individually to do it. Honestly just makes the game really frustrating sometimes.
I personally felt that way. I thought it was weird how act 1 took me like 40 hours on my first playthrough (and ultimately nothing of consequence happens storywise, because everything is 'Can you heal us? 'No.' and that is it), and then Act 2 is 90% nothing important story wise and then it is NIGHTSONG BALDUR'S GATE 3 and then the plot dumps on you all at once in Act 3 where you have to kill like 4 bosses.
>Not only that but in both my playthroughs I began experiencing a bug around act 2 where I will attack and then the game will just pause and do nothing and after about 10-15 seconds the attack will register.
That's been a thing since day one, had the same in my game before any patches came out.
I don't think they're really long. It's pretty consistent with other dnd rpgs. Also to me bloat is tied to content quality. The relationship between bloat and quality is a fine one. Lots of good content isn't bloat. Sprinkling too much padded shit that's just there to give the player something to do is bloating. BG3 thankfully is the first rpg I've played since witcher 3 that was free of padding
>you hit max level so early
XP gain clearly was heavily increased so any casual moron could get to max level by not doing anything in particular.
>Actually liking JK Simmons' character.
Why?
one year from now she will have 2 more lines of dialogue that were already in the game files on release. enjoy!
You wake up as Swen Vincke, how the FRICK do you convince the tencent investors to add Orin as a companion for the BG3 Definitive Edition?
I just add it because I don't need to talk to investors to do what I want with a game my company is making.
>we want the "I can fix her" audience
No one is going to be able to fix her, bro.
I can make her worse
Literally how?
>I can make her worse
kek, she would tear you apart homosexual, nothing you say or do could even come close to her level of unadulterated, unrestrained evil
She has literally skinned children alive. There's nothing you could do.
>character has less than 30 minutes of screentime
>has the most kino fanarts
BG3 needs more Orin tbchwufml
>almost no screentime, all the fanart
now where have I heard that before?
Should I play Village?
It’s an interesting interpretation of various aspects of video game horror and a compelling evolution to Resident Evil.
It’s an 8/10 but if you like the series it’s really worth it to play it.
Not as much Dimitrescu as the memes would have you believe though.
She doesn't have most of the fan art. Astarion does, then Shadowheart after words.
She doesn't have the most in BG3. Still, Lady D was presumed by fans to have more screen time than she did, especially with all the trailer focus on her. Nobody knew who the frick Orin was before BG3 was released.
She's definitely the most of popular of the chosens, they all got mogged by Raphael but still.
>She's definitely the most of popular of the chosens
>Ugly old man
>Ugly middle aged man
>A dragon
>Hot sexy psycho girl in chitinous lingerie armour
gee I wonder why
Sure, but the chosen aren't popular to begin with. None of them scream cool. Ketheric Thorm has his cool axe scene, but he doesn't stay along enough to be interesting. Half of his story was ruined by the annoying daughter and angel dyke too. Orin is just the hot, crazy chick.
Ketheric's a fricking loser, anon even if you ignore the daughter and her gf, or made the gf a bf.
ketheric is the only chosen that can be talked into killing himself and its not even a high DC. its like 15.
he was not okay.
He was also a pathetic gay who went all in on the Shar shit despite being a Selunite just from his daughters death, and then immediately threw her away to suck Myrkul's bonewiener
the gods are shit, might as well take from them what you want and drop them like wet bags of noodles
that plothole never made sense to me either, its implied that ketheric joined shar so he could forget the death of his daughter, and yet myrkul was able to tempt him by promising to bring his daughter back to life, who he wouldn't have cared about or known at that point.
so the whole shar thing is pointless from a writing perspective. he could have gone straight from selune to myrkul. there was no need for him to be the original cause of the shadowfell which could have just been some other shar moron.
there was no need for him to be central focus of so many different things.
He just wanted to lash out for his daughter dying, not forget her
When in doubt, blame rewrites and >Larian writing. Halsin's backstory about him being the one who killed Isobel was completely written out in the full game for whatever reason, entire Moonrise Towers part of the story might have been rewritten multiple times.
Is that why there's this weird dialogue of him blaming himself for the shadowcurse despite the fact that he never had anything to do with it?
Yes, based on books and documents you could find in EA version, he was the one who killed Isobel (hence why his glaive hidden in grove called Regret or whatever, in EA it would hurt the player when used) and more or less responsible for the whole curse thing in result. That's why he spent centuries(?) trying to cure the land.
They didn't even bother ironing and cleaning the story after rewrites.
>Nobody knew who the frick Orin was before BG3 was released
The frick are you on about? She was shown in final Panel From Hell and then had a whole trailer dedicated to her. I think she was in the community update as well.
https://twitter.com/larianstudios/status/1684594495063801856
the world needs more female villains who are just evil and you can't redeem just because they're cute/frickable
This but let the player impregnate them
The way she pops up everywhere is straight up silly.
>o-oh, the guard was me, Orin, all along! who can you trust? you're going insane hahaha
It's cute, of course, but makes it hard to take her seriously as a villain. She should've, I don't know, commit a massacre while shapeshifted as you, so you get blamed.
She should've morphed into your romance and mess with you
and raped you*
>hey laezel, I just wanted to say last night was wild
>THE FRICK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ISTHYK
missed opportunity lol
reminder that she caved your fricking head in
What a joker
Normal sibling rivalry for daddy's attention
>fricked you so hard into the headboard you developed amnesia
The gigaest of Stacie's
I kneel
>grabs you by the throat
>repeatedly slams your head against hard surfaces while riding you
DAAAAAAAMN
>you think you impregnated your lover... well guess again, big brother – it was me, Orin!
Based
I cant wait for the time when mods change Orin into Dio.
Haha oh no Orin don't trick me into having sex with you. What a malicious prank
kino as frick idea anon
>She should've, I don't know, commit a massacre while shapeshifted as you, so you get blamed
This would require Larian to steal the plot of the second chapter of NWN2.
Well they already stole the twist of kotor so why not go for broke
>impregnate them
That's what bhaal wants you dumbass. Unless you let demigods like Aylin impregnate her so you can bully his bloodline
>b-but yuri
changeling can pop up a dick shut the FRICK up
well then games need to start adding rape mechanics because that's what would happen to them
>Worship Bhaal, control the brain, frick your sister.
I kinda killed half the goblin camp. Minthara isn't aggroed yet. Is there a way to recruit her without killing the entire grove. I kinda just want to genocide these goblins and get away with my drow gf scot free.
IIRC you can tell her the Grove location, have her take her group out, and then kill all the rest with no consequences
Bhaal should have given Orin to Durge as the last gift.
God I wish that were me
oh no...not...that dude.....that...i ...who is he again?
Shadowheart, look away!
>just realized that Halsin has been missing for the past 27 hours after doing everything then going to orin and seeing him there
lmao. sorry dude
>still lives with her mom
what a dork
mind breaking orin and turning her into a living onahole which can assume the form of any female you want
>Why hello there, care to see a magic tr-ACK!
what am I looking at? Is this what happens to your party member if you don't save them from Orin?
She murders them in front of you if you go to her before killing Gortash. You can try to make her stop but you need to roll a 25 to do that.
kek, I was a bard so that was nothing to me. I just speechmaxxed her into playing along
Frick I loved being a bard.
>Making literally everyone in Act 2 kill themselves
Act 2 was fricking hilarious as a bard. Just strolling through the Shadowlands telling everyone I came across to commit LowTierGod
I wish I was a charisma-maxxed character 🙁
If you sneak into her room along the cavarn on the left of the temple, use speak with dead on her mother and find out her secret you can skip the check.
Are you serious?
It's true.
Yeah, that b***h has issues.
?si=OJXD9VbWsgXorT7B&t=1
the amount of secret shit you can do in this game is hilarious
25 isnt that high that late in the game, since the squid powers give you expertise in persuasion (and you obviously have prof in persuasion if youre not a murderhobo) you should be rolling +8+1d4(guidance) even at 10 charisma
I didn't use the illithid powers.
Does she take the same party members each time or is it random
She can take Lae'zel, Gale, Halsin, Minthara. Whoever isn't in your party and has the lowest approval. A different cutscene plays depending on which companion was taken. If none of those companions are available to be taken she will take Yenna.
Honestly I was about to let Laezel kill the girl. Good thing I decided against it though.
Lol you can't kill the girl. Or the cat. They are a quest failsafe. At first I thought it was Orin, so I pummeled them both. But nope, unkillable.
She disappeared in my sister's game so I suppose she actually can be Orin.
>you can't let her a kill a party member that you hate
Accidentally based
shouldn't he blow up right there?
Apparently it takes a few days. He even set up a magic projection to tell anyone nearby to revive him before he goes nuclear
Computer, enhance.
nice
This woman sincerely grossed me out. She also made me want to turn her good more than almost anyone else. Imagine
>throughout act 3 she tries to kill you
>each time you challenge her beliefs, chipping away at them
>finally convince her that a murder cult is horrible
>she turns everything around and leaves the culture
>joins your party
>goes from aggressive and murderous to basically pro life and almost pacfistic
>wants to have babies with the MC
>wears frilly dresses
>has to be comforted due to night terrors from her past actions
>ends the game giving up fighting all together to rear children in a humble home all while making amends by serving the community
She's literally wearing human skin. You can't redeem that.
Strip her naked.
bro ever heard of necropants?
That's not human skin she got her outfit from a dumpster behind Red Lobster.
With a penis you can redeem.
pregnancy correction
LEAVE HIM OUT OF THIS REEEEEEEEEEE
>quirky demon jester
Pure reddit
Imagine disliking based Sceleritas
That is completely out of line with her character that it would be moronic if this was an option. I'm glad you never worked on this game.
>that would be moronic in a game that has the worst writing
>would also be moronic in a game that lets you frick the worst kinds of degenerate shit
>but girl in human skin is too far
you have brain rot
look man I'm all for that turning hoes into housewives shit, hit me with it that's some good stuff, but I think that one just might be a tad too far gone for this
TOTAL DOPPELGANGER DEATH
Guys, just finished game. Played good boy dumb orc paladin and romanced karlach. Felt bad for Orpheus so I became a mindflayer. Destroyed the brain. After that I killed myself to protect my friends. Then karlach started to burn and died, nearly cried causd it was such a tragic story. The hero sacrifices himself for the greater good, kills himself to protect his loved ones. But the one he loves most cant bear it and chooses death through immolation instead of going to the hells to live a life without her reason to live.
Now a durge run, may BHAAL reign supreme
you made a bunch of stupid decisions my friend
Why ?? A true hero gives his lige for greater good (orpheus lives) and I owed it to lazael for pump and dumping her. Also im a sucker for a tragic ending, but actually roleplaying made the ending really emotional, I thought 2 mins ablut killing myself or not
altruism is for suckers
>average ilmater follower
You are a stupid c**t. Orpheus is just as evil as Vlaakith, which you would know if you were paying even a small amount of attention to the game.
At least Orpheus is competent and could fight the Ilthids also better than siding with the emperor.
>Orpheus just as evil as Vlaakith
>shows gratitude
>calls you friend, liberator, actually helps you willingly despite probably having other ways
>Doesn't try to kill you after you are a mindflayer or tries to persuade you to have a nice day
He's neutral at worst, no way this guy is evil
lol
lmao
I bet you also think Minthara is not evil.
Minthy barely passes as evil
Meanwhile Orpheus is willing to sacrifice himself for the good of the world
>He can't be evil, he shows gratitude and calls you a friend
Holyy shit. This is the calibre of intellect I am dealing with.
So how is he evil? I mean, you can argue that all Githyanki are evil, but how, specifically, is Orpheus evil?
Do you not remember him starting the conversation with "you should've let my guards kill you because reasons" when you free him?
>Githyanki Law and Culture would see yourself put to death before becoming a mindflayer
Lawful-orientated dialogue there, not really indicative of evil, Considering Lae'Zel tries to persuade you to accept death as a mercy rather than turn into a squidward
>lawful can't evil
Well yes, lawful can be evil, but neither Orpheus nor Lae'Zel are trying to tell you to accept death for their own benefit or out of a malicious desire, they simply see it as the best and safest way against the proliferation of mind flayers. Orpheus really isn't evil, he never tries to manipulate you, accepts self-sacrifice, speaks his mind honestly without any hint of deceit. I wouldn't say Githyanki are all entirely evil too, they're just all brainwashed and dogmatic, and Gith as a species fall into dogmatic beliefs rather fast considering the Gith egg and Zerai. I don't doubt that they'd be drow-tier if Vlaakith wasn't a psychotic lich but then again
>Not all drow
>You can argue that all Githyanki are evil
That's the exact fricking point I'm trying to make, yes. Without Vlaakith killing every githyanki that cracks level 10 they become the greatest force of evil in the setting.
It's only slightly different to the "Release 7,000 vampires" dilemma, and I bet you didn't struggle with that.
>It's only slightly different to the "Release 7,000 vampires" dilemma, and I bet you didn't struggle with that.
I sure as frick didn't. I ascended and spat in the face of all the characters who called me evil for it. That being said, Orpheus promises to sing your praises to every Githyanki for all eternity. It's highly unlikely they're going to come back and try to conquer you.
🙁
The "him" here is me btw
It'd be easy. Just change the taunting of her mother being sent to kill her on the orders of her grandpa into speech checks. Then you go with her to kill him and as a sacrifice of a long failed bhaalspawn then you and sis back to killing everything. Gale and astarion are the only ones that would be cool with it afaik
Would it be somehung like Morinth in Mass Effect where she basically pretends to be one of your ther team members in public?
that would be cool, like what if she takes the identity of whichever party member she killed and only you know who she actually is
>can shapeshift into other people, uses it to kind of just be a dick to you with no real purpose
>the one time she does shapeshift into you, it's completely asinine instead of something important like "oh shit, orin is disguising as me and murdering people all over town"
>the newspaper runs a story about you fighting a shapeshifting clown rather than the above obvious plot point
>solicits information out of you to include who in your party youre closest too and if youd kill a friend
>gortash informs you one of your party has been replaced, literally NOTHING you can do about this. no dialogue, nothing.
>what you tell her in your dialogues with her does not actually affect who is kidnapped
>she immediately ruins the surprise of who the imposter is the moment you enter the sewers
>she shows up all these times and while any sensible character wouldve beaten her to death on sight, you cant do this
what the frick was with her arc? why was it so shallow? she was at best incredibly annoying.
Her and Gortash had no screentime whatsoever, the emperor should have never been a character, that squidBlack person wasted half of my long rest events.
Rewrites + rushed release + frick you, no refunds.
Anon, she's basically a psychopathic child in the body of an adult woman
literally him
so she's a regular adult woman
>the one time she does shapeshift into you, it's completely asinine instead of something important like "oh shit, orin is disguising as me and murdering people all over town"
this is really what the murder investigation question should have been
How does law enforcement even work in faerun?
> oh the rape and murder spree? It wasn't me it was a doppelganger/changeling
>oh you just saw me stab a man a second ago? A wizard was mind controlling me
>How does law enforcement even work in faerun?
magic detectives
>fantasy noire
why is this so rare
Because fantasy settings usually go for full big stakes, world-ending epics. The reverse scenario of a mundane modern day world with magic detectives is a lot more common for obvious reasons.
Pretty fricking useless considering the hierophant in this game
Yeah but that's because the hierophant is a lazy bureaucratic wino who doesn't give a shit about her job.
detect thoughts
>INT saves
nothin personnel officer
>suspect closing their mind
that's practically an admission of guilt
>suspect wants a warrant before you search his house
that's practically an admission of guilt
correct, off to the gallows with you
there is an actual plot point in the game where sarevok tells you she is moronic, and it is also literally stated by the big brain that the reason the entire plot fails is because of orin taking your place -- that orin is so inept she literally ruined the plot of three demi-gods.
also, to be fair, she is an incest baby who is the result of her grandfather fricking her mother.
and somehow she has a dragonborn half brother, and its never really explained what the logistics of that even are. so her genetics are clearly in question.
Bhaal is a scalie, that's the reason
>Bhaal is a scalie, that's the reason
Swen is a scalie, that's the reason*
Well he murdered the competition, so it checks out
Does the storm sorcery come from bhaal or from the dragon?
she has 14 int though, more than ketheric
>and somehow she has a dragonborn half brother, and its never really explained what the logistics of that even are. so her genetics are clearly in question
You're created from Bhaal's gore, you have no mother
but orin is explicitly made from incest by her mother and grandfather?
if you have no mother why are you orins-half brother when she literally has a mother and father, who by the way, is also a zombie
You're Orin's brother because you're both Bhaalspawn and are thus both Bhaal's children, even if Orin is biologically Sarevok's daughter/granddaughter
i see. it is a little weird, though, that bhaalspawn can made both by fricking and by piles of flesh.
Durge is a unique case, if that helps.
By BG3's point in time Bhaal is impotent and cannot have any more children with mortal women. So Durge was hewn from the flesh of Bhaal in an attempt to create the most perfect Bhaalspawn.
Yes, Bhaal was so crippled by the events of BG1 and 2 (on top of being killed by Cyrric) that he had to basically make Durge from his own essence, which is also why he can just kill you out of nowhere if you reject him
>there is an actual plot point in the game where sarevok tells you she is moronic, and it is also literally stated by the big brain that the reason the entire plot fails is because of orin taking your place
kek
Her sneaking into camp past all of your companions, the spine-buster lesbian, the autistic death knight, Mizora, and fricking Withers, without anyone noticing was stupid
>companions
They never do shit while at camp, why would they change now?
>spine buster lesbian
Busy banging her girl
>the autistic death knight
Literally not his problem
>Mizora
Same
>Withers
Especially so
what about scratch, he should be able to sniff out any doppelgangers
You expect too much out of your dog
It's not even his dog.
Who is the death knight
Do you think Withers is your watchdog or something?
He's the one who granted Bhaal his godhood merely for shit and giggles, you know.
Withers I could see as just not giving a shit. Does he even comment on that news?
I just found Durge. Where are his clothes? Here's a bunch of corpses in Orin's room but he's the only one that's naked.
Sarevok wants DarkUrge to impregnate his sister, do the math.
I FEEL YOUR BREATH UPON MY NECK
incest is bad mkay
If incest is bad, why is my sister hot, huh? Ever thought about that?
half sister
Technically his niece, their family tree is a mess.
niece and half sister
She'd do it with glee if Bhaal told her to.
tired of seeing titlets everywhere
Never. Larian is already done with BG3, sadly. Swen moved on to his next game. You'll have to wait on modders to deliver.
AH SERVE THE FLAMING FIST is how law enforcement goes in Faerun.
AH SERVE THE FLAMING FIST and I saw you do a crime, so follow me or get dragged in after being beat unconscious.
The custom character is fricking boring, should I just start over as Dark Urge?
you might as well, since you can basically play dark urge more or less as a tav, plus you get an extremely overpowered cape in act 1, that is good throughout the entirety of the game.
the custom character is as boring as you allow him to be
They're boring by design. None of your background choices matter and your racial choices don't matter either. Unless you tell yourself it changes everything if you just make up role playing scenarios in your head?
Dark Urge was the custom character originally before Larian pussied out and split them. There's absolutely no reason to play custom character because yet again Larian left it with absolutely jack shit.
>his wheel of fate doesn't ever turn to the dark
KWAB
>Give me the godly divine artifact and maybe I'll have sex with you, Gale
Why are w*men like this?
Can Gale actually become a god like Mystra or is he still a nobody at the end?
He can ascend
Mystra immediately proceeds to slap him down because lol new born deity challenging one of the biggest dick goddesses around, and that he's powered by cancer magic
Can he still do this if he goes squid mode?
Yep, same results
Mystra is very proud of a Squid Gale who gives up the crown though, and can even bring back his soul and humanity though he has to go back to Elysium with her. Making it something of a golden end if anyone had to go Ghaik
>bring back his soul and humanity
Can she actually do that though?
She says she can in the ending, so yeah
>Wish and True resurrection are one of the only spells capable of reverting someone from being ILLITHI'D
Yeah she can.
>needs some special god bullshit to be able to cast spells that CHARNAME and co can do casually
lol, lmao.
>Epic level fricker
>Bh**lspawn
>Casually
I wish she kills him right here. gayian's writers are really stepping on eggshells refusing to make players face any real consequences. There should be a lot more bad endings and hard endings that kill companions. Only wyll really has one but it doesn't even come to fruition with that winged epilogue scene.
She literally does
Larian ain't Owlcat
Huh, I take back what I said. I'm gonna push him down that route in my next run to watch him being b***hslapped
You have to play as Gale to see it happen, if he's just a companion then the story just ends at him deciding to go after godhood/forgiveness/etc
That is if you did the good ending. He was all gun-ho about getting the crown right up until the moment you grab it for yourself lel
If they really wanted to be based they should have had a very specific Gale ascension ending that requires him frankensteining together all of his weird Sex magic that he can suck up in every act
but Larian isn't based, and WotC/Hasbro would probably through a b***hfit if Gale can actually become a minor god of Magic, even if he is powered by Cancer magic
Where do I find her loose dress?
I just got to Act 3, is it worth completing my current run or should I wait for the enhanced edition?
Imagine if she transformed into Yenna during the sex scene.
>get to orin fight after finding the Gortash one mildly challenging at least
>she's the easiest fricking thing in the game
why did they do that?
Because Durge is forced to 1v1 her
Larian were actually aiming to claim modern babby's first (c)RPG title.
>Gortash mildly challenging
Purely because of the traps, mechanically Gortash himself is Orin-tier, he just has a ton of adds that you can't skip. Orin herself is weak because she's basically relying on Slayer form and adds for difficulty, so the Durge 1v1 needs her to be weak to be fair
I did gortash on tactician after disabling the machines, and he was easy as hell.
For my playthrough he barely did any attacks and just casted one reflect projectile shield then moved onto a grenade where my paladin was. I accidentally aoe'd the grenade and it chunked gortash out and stunned/proned him.
The difficulty of these late game fights are so variable it's crazy.
>trying to do the orin duel on tact as a durge lore bard
aaaaaand dropped to explorer difficulty lel
scene with withers afterwards was really, really well done. made going resisting durge feel worth it
SLAYER'D
also yeah, that scene was good and a great reward. I kinda felt bad about going back to dealing with mindflayer shit after that lmao
act 3 was kind of a huge fricking mess. i structured everything so the last things i did in the act were kill gortash > kill orin > go to netherbrain. right before that it was killing raphael, pretty much just felt like boss rush in the last few hours.
in my playthrough i told the emperor to frick off, let orpheaus become mind flayer, and basically did good guy shit. pretty vanilla RP experience but i justified it by saying that i knew i did evil shit in the past and going forward i'd protect my party and kill that fricking brain.
>Doing the orin duel as a balls deep murderhobo dark urge ranger
tags: rape, incest, forced, guro, blood, violence, snuff, screaming, monster, religious cuckholdry
>tfw I just threatened to beat the shit out of her and kill her every time we meet instead of being worried about her threats
>She seethe as you
>she lives in a cave
>decorates our room with her moms corpse in an iron maiden
bros.. Im in love
Honestly I always kill her last because I find her funny. I just wish you could express how unafraid and humoured you are of her though.
You essentially just get to threaten her every time you meet, though I do wish you could mock her. I wish I could just say "Lady, I will punch you 12 times in one round and you're likely going to be dead, and if you aren't Astarion over there is gonna shoot you 8 times in one round and you definitely will be dead"
You're just so powerful that nothing is scary.
>six million scripted cutscenes of a generic story: the game: the turn-based movie
Lelian clearly invested all their effort into waifus. Nobody would discuss this shit if it was based purely on the horrible gameplay.
no shit moron you don't need to be compelling just have waifus and these incels will eat it up
gay sex with durge
Imagine Dark Urge but instead of murder it's gay sex
Honestly all the little choices you make along the way are plenty enough that I don't even care that they're all meaningless in the end. Just taking different sides and progressing through the game differently is great.
I never felt this many choices since Way of the Samurai, and even that just ends with you fighting the Jap government no matter what. So I really don't give a frick about endings.
Playthrough one I took part in the ambush in the shadow-cursed lands and now I rolled with the spider dude.
I liked the whole Orin plot for how silly evil you can be
>Going through with becoming an unholy assassin
>Go up to Sarevok after and say I'm going to kill him
>He's proud of me
>Talk to Orin's dead mom before talking to her
>She's all mad about me killing Sarevok and I taunt her about her mom to make her lose her shit
>Reject Bhaal so I can own all the evil stuff I do instead of it being due to the urge
Kind of surprised Larian didn't let you have a black-widow sex scene with Orin with how much wild sex they had in the game already. Would be cool if it had a insight check during sex to let you murder her before she does the same to you
>mfw I can't have sex with Orin
>can't even shove her bloody viscera in my vegana after she dies
Maybe in the definitive edition
>No Orin sexo
Probably had to be cut to make for time, rewrites, less cinematics, etc. Probably why act 3 has no sex scenes
kino
There really isnt that much sex really. Witcher 3 had more of it..i honestly feel rpg devs could learn more about videogame relation progression and development from vns rather than whatever they grew up playing, eg- Mario/Thief whatever.
Witcher 3 is a very old game. Nobody even remembers it anymore.
So where all those totally natural Zevlor threads went anyways?
I was positively surprised to learn that Maggie Robertson voiced another stellar villainess coming so soon from Village
The D in 'She wants your D' stands for 'death' anon, not 'dick'
Durge is reserved for Astarion
She raped Durge, though.
She definitely wants that lizard wiener though
We were robbed
