You can play it whenever you want. If it's coming to Steam it'll maybe be in a few months but that's an if and we won't find out until the day of release because frick SE.
It's great. Similar to Nioh, it has surface level inspirations from Souls games but much more focus on combat depth with extremely satisfying fast paced fights and mechanics that reward taking the initiative, and RPG build depth that compliments it and adds a lot of extra playstyle variety and finetuning without taking the focus away from it unless you really want it to. Also a ton of FF fanservice from people that clearly like and understand the source material and an excellent take on the Job system, but also acts as an entry point to that series as well.
>but also acts as an entry point to that series as well.
lol wut? vast majority of the FF games are turn based.
and if youre talking about story, also fricking moronic because none of the games connect with each other.
i think you have brain damage.
>none of the games connect with each other
VII and X are canonically in the same world.
This game posits that every single FF world is connected by a third party that the Lufenians are in contact with.
>VII and X are canonically in the same world
No, VII and X are directly connected in a timeline, completely different worlds. An Al Bhed kid named Shinra starts a space travel program and they leave for another planet. The planet they land on is the planet FFVII takes place on.
All of the games are within the same universe, and other than the man in FF9, Gilgamesh is the same man in every FF game he appears in. He wasn't killed by being banished to the Void, he learned how to travel through it and visit other worlds in different times.
It’s excellent. I got it the same day as Elden Ring and I almost completely ignored ER until I was done with this. I’ve gotten the platinum since, it has a few flaws, I think the armour system is a bit middling and a few of the bosses are weak (though most of them are fantastic). Give it a go anon, really satisfying action game, make sure to play with knuckles
There was some smaller improvements that made a massive difference for a bunch of people who said it was running great afterwards but to really get at the root of the problem like in your pic would take a whole lot more time and effort to rework everything, which the game fully deserves but is unlikely to ever get.

in my game during soul bursts the crystals are glitching and jittering when they appear on the fricking enemies. does anyone else experience this?
Performance has been very good on my PlayStation 5 since I upgraded from the Playstation 4.
It's a great game, I recommend you play it however you can.
In a month, as it likely won't get an extension deal.
how is this game? will I like it if I hate souls games?
It's boring as frick. Think NioH but watered down final fantasy classes that feel nothing like final fantasy.
I would start with Nioh and if you like that you'll probably like this.

Truly great game. Plot seems like it's not going anywhere and then it explodes in the last 30 minutes to become something incredible.
Gameplay is also top-notch. I'm not a Niohgay, but it's truly satisfying gameplay.
absolute kino

Did they ever update it to improve the fricked optimisation?

Lol, lmao even

No.
I saw it happen in other peoples youtube videos.
It's really fricking annoying.
So it wasn't just my 970 that made it looks like vaseline and cataracts, everyone else had that problem?
No.
Stop playing on performance mode. I held 60fps 1080p on maximum.
March if they follow Nioh 2’s DLC
