I bought it past week, but I'm a bit overwhelmed of all the micromanaging and stuff, any tips? is it viable to just level up my fave mechas/gundams, or should I go for meta stuff?
pretty much use and upgrade the protagonist robots from different anime series. there's no point in using and upgrading second-string and supporting characters unless you are a fan of them
for example, you basically just use Mazinger Z and ignore its other supporting cast like Great Mazinger and Ichinana.
The second half shat the bed, as usual for Gundam. Waaayyy too rushed, seemed like they only realized it was going to be 24 and not the usual 50 episodes at around episode 15 or so, so they just crammed in as much as they could, the plot moved at lightspeed in final episodes.

One of the first things we knew about the show was that it was only going to be 2 cours only.
If it had double the amount of episodes we would just have 20 episodes of nika, elan and kamille being stuck in a basement.

The only thing frickers will talk about WFM is the relationships between characters, because everything else paled in comparison when fighting against a GM-tier mobile suit that somehow has UC end game funnels
And the whole unicorn-esque ending was just awful
It could have been something but it ended up nothing. S2 dropped the ball so fricking hard, which also retroactively makes S1 bad because it's building up to nothing.
Shit peaked at the prologue, maybe the Pharact fights if you really want to be generous.
Not shit, but nothing really to write home about. It has potential, and a lot of it, but most of the intrigues are either never touched again and resolved way too fast.
I guess if their goal was to broaden appeal, they succeeded but I don't think the average Gundam fan will rate it higher than a 6/10.
Season 1-Fricking nothing happened within the whole 12 eps
Season 2-Rushes everything to shit because the writers forgot that they only had 2-cours to wrap this shit up while executing it all in the most derivative way possible because they also forgot they were making a Gundam show. So what you get is the most safe unimaginative AU yet with absolutely nothing interesting to say in terms of theme other than the "humanity must embrace cybernetics to continue existing beyond the Earth" from the prologue which all got dropped in the main series.
it was great until the very end when they pulled a "suddenly a space station with a big gun appeared and must be stopped" out of nowhere in the final episode.
there's no epic final gundam fight if that was what you were expecting.
the best scenes are dialog, but if you're in it just for the yuri, you might be disappointed as its not the main focus.

the playerbase just sucks at the game so it detracts from the fun (a lot of them seem to be from taiwan/china). i feel like mechgays always want a mech game to play exactly like this but i don't see them even trying GBO2.
