Can someone actually tell me Drizzt's story
All I know is that he's an old character and is one of the only good drows from pre 5e and he dual wields swords and sometimes has a panther?
A heckin good boy that left his people because dark elves are buttholes and his mom murdered his dad, who was also a good boy. He wanders around the underdark for 10 years with his magical panther that he can summon using a small statue thing he has. He goes on an adventure with a deepgnome dude with no hands and a hook horror that was once a gnome thing or whatever but a wizard turned it into a hook horror. After the hook horror bro dies and he kills his dads zombie he goes to the surface to try and make friends. Everyone screams bloody murder and tries to kill him on sight, until some people realize he's a heckin good boy. He ends up in icewind dale with a dwarf dude, a hobbit, a barbarian he cucks later, and an annoying ginger b***h mary sue that refuses to die and is a terrible person that beats the shit out of the hobbit whenever drizzt tells him a secret he's not supposed to tell her.
Basically all from the first couple of books. I stopped at like book 13 or 14 where the barbarian gets giga cucked and there was some weird teenage love drama going on with some poet bard homosexual that kills himself and some other girl that he knocked up but gets cucked by the local lord or something.
Very close, the assassin rival malds because Drizzt is a gary stu who didn't have to compromise his morals to gain the skills he has... despite being a Drow.
Yeah I wasn't really a fan of Cattie-brie or whatever her name was. Drizzt gets way too hung up on being obsessed with his new adoptive family too. It makes sense, but gets obnoxious at some points and I enjoyed the books where he thought they were dead and went solo ranger mode for a bit.

When you see her in act 2 she's getting judged after failing to retrieve the artifact. She's sent to prison where you can save her from.
Then she turns into "The Absolute made me do all thoss horrible things" and you can continue with helping Jaheira, Isobel and the good guys. Sure, Halsin is dead so you probably can't lift the curse

As of now, it's definitely not worth it. I've finished the game and "romanced" Minthara as much as possible (100 Approval). All her Act 2 and Act 3 content is currently cut, so there is no point in romancing her. Play a different route until they release the patch inshallah.

I read about what happens to some of the characters and it just seemed like a total annihilation of who they were in those three books so I decided not to continue past those ones. They were meh. War of the spider queen was far better.

War of the Spider Queen was nice, almost entirely within Underdark so you see a lot of different places, races and so on. Also plenty of politics, especially within the "team".

She does appear in act 2. If you play it well, you can recruit her and you don't have to be evil to do that.

13 strength is needed for heavy armor IIRC but aside from that odd attribute points are basically useless.
