No but there's one for unashamed corpo bootlickers. That one doesn't even know what he's saying anymore [...]
Why else would so many people chose to watch it instead of playing? 😉

People did play it, it had 1 million users on steam during launch month.
But it retained a ton of interest on Twitch due to chalenge runs, PvP, randomizer runs etc.

More viewers = more moviegame.
Movies have viewers, games don't.

It's a shit game just like how BOTW was a shit game. Anyone who else otherwise is a moronic goy.
It's the very definition of brand slop with zero effort put into it.
Starfield did everything it did better.
more viewers equals moviegame, deal with it 😉

>Multiplat lifetime.sales outsold in TotK's first month on a single platform.
Unironically the artsyle.
The laziest way they could have salvaged this was by changing the character models to any different artstyle, upping the contrast, and adding post processing to make everything look like the official art in terms of colorization
Everyone would have called it 10/10
The BoTW/ToTK formula had the potential to be something truly great if Nintendo put any actual effort, challenge and soul into it. That's what people were expecting from TotK - a game that would fix or improve upon BoTW's inherent flaws, while putting more development focus on complex dungeons, the combat, the difficulty and general storytelling elements.
But they didn't. Instead, they seemingly doubled-down on many of the WORST aspects of BoTW, while introducing a half-assed, physics-based puzzle system nobody really wanted or asked for, because Nintendo realized it would make a great marketing gimmick for the tiktok & twitter zoomer crowd. And it took them 6 fricking years, to boot.
Hell, ToTK is the first mainline Zelda game that completely renders its predecessor obsolete due to the insane level of copy-paste mechanics and asset recycling it utilizes. There's literally no reason to play BoTW at this point, unless if you want to experience fighting guardians, or actually playing through the shitty divine beasts mini-dungeons.

Thats exactly what Nintendo did though. Seethe harder chump.
Disappeared with the honeymoon phase, only Zelda diehards consider it GOTY material compared to all the other games that are out or will be coming out this year
Discussion about it dried up fast especially in comparison to BotW
I never finished. I feverishly put like 80 hours into it and never even finished the Gerudo dungeon. The dungeons sucked hard. I'm one of the few who actually liked the Divine Beasts but these were just brain dead moronic. Apart from that I did like the game a lot. The shrines were definitely improved and the open world was changed enough from the last game that I didn't get bored, especially with the cave system. 7/10
slop
Ganker too busy seething over $CURRENT_GAME and spamming metacritic threads to make room to shitpost about TotK
What's this mental illness called?
Doesn't hold a candle to the SMTV schizo
It's probably the same person
Eric
Kek snoys bleeding out the ass over Nintendo's latest genre-defining masterpiece.
Nice page 10 bump.

Hello, anon (singular).
died about a week before the game came out when everyone realized that it actually was just an overpriced port
Bear sex happened
People actually played it and saw it was 70% a lazy assetflip.
is there a name for when incels spend more time watching youtube videos saying something is bad than actually playing/watching said thing?
No but there's one for unashamed corpo bootlickers. That one doesn't even know what he's saying anymore
You mean the people in all those bg3 threads?
I was wondering where the daily seethe thread was
because it has already won.
Why hype afterwards?
3 months after release and the "greatest game of the decade" has completely fizzled out.
kek, that just means people would rather watch ER than play it.
Yeah, right.
18 months after release and ER still has 50-60K players on steam alone.
Go on, post the google trends image you little bawd.
Nope, people are just watching that movie game.
>ER is now a movie game
Why else would so many people chose to watch it instead of playing? 😉

This will never not be hilarious. XDD

still there
waiting for the inevitable GOTY

Starfield did everything it did better.
got killed by zelinkgays
I love Kass! Also, the game has zero staying power.
Can't wait for arthur to get to my post.
Which one is yours, so I can laugh at that too.
This one
Took you long enough btw
I'm busy watching Gamescom. Because I actually enjoy video games rather than shitting my pants on Ganker all day.
You get off to trannies.
Todd ejected it into the vacuum of space.
Eric, stop trying.
BG3 on the left #1
Starfield next to it #2
BOTW in the middle #4
RE4 on the right #6
AC6 on the right #8
That doesn't seem very fair
She's missing an arm, so it's totally fair.
Then she should run the race handstanding

>Discussion about it dried up fast especially in comparison to BotW
Nope. There's just less shitposting because haters can't think up a single convincing criticism of TotK. Not one. Thats how incredible it is.
bait reply but even the Zelda general on /vg/ is struggling to keep afloat because there's barely anything to actually talk about regarding gameplay
Still seething this hard. Delusional.
you can check for yourself
Such a shame the praise for BOTW went to their head to the point that they decided "why bother going to the next level when you can CTRL C+V"
true, still is funny to watch the few ones losing their hairs over it
this
exactly this
Seems legit.
Based, watch how it makes shipost troon seethe lmao
They added more sandbox shit instead of improving the areas that BotW was lacking in.
into another money launder scheme to make next BotW DLC
To Armored Core VI
literally nobody will talk about that game within 2 weeks of its release
hello discord raider troon.
gays love the AC series
the series has very progressive stories and even a few homosexual characters
>Where did all the GOTY hype go?
totk is game of the decade not goty
What decade? The Clinton years?
Holy shit you're so clever, how did you come up with that?
Glad I could help

floppa
GOTY
is there any point to playing botw before this, or is it just a straight upgrade?
