Like what would be the bad guys for a Bayonetta 4?
Doesn’t make much sense to do angels and demons again, and homunculi seems like it’s done.
So… what are some realistic ones?
I’m thinking space aliens could be one. They fought threats from alternate realities but not other planets!
Could also do robots/AI, though that’s kinda like what homunculi was.
Vampires? If there is a dimension with fairy people there could be also be vampire s out there. And they might be one of the few things that are easy to write as threats to umbra witches
Bayonetta is a really bad hero for adults to have. She's sexy, dynamic, interesting, cruel, mean and showy. For kids, she's great. She teaches them to feel empowered and strong. Beautiful and graceful. But for adults, she teaches adults to replace everything they've come to know about being sexy with modern vices like money, conspiracy and contest of authority.
>Doesn’t make much sense to do angels and demons again,
she's literally in hell
But down there… it’s only demons right?
So she could only fight demons? What reason could she have to do that?
If we go with Viola being the new face… that opens up more options
>What reason could she have to do that?
them wanting to eat her
I thought she was on good terms with them…?
I gotta finish the game I’m on chapter 12.
So are you suggesting game 4 could be her fighting her way out of hell? I’m still not sure why or how she’s down there and how much control she has being down there as I still got like two more chapters to go
>I thought she was on good terms with them
maybe baal and madama butterfly but witches are supposed to be consumed after dying
Demons absolutely do not give a shit, especially considering she went to Inferno to get Jeanne's soul back in the second game.
Demons only care about the fact that a witch is contracted to them in order to kill angels for them. Since Bayonetta is effectively dead, well they have no 'use' for her anymore in that regard. That being said, Bayonetta has a relation with Madama Butterfly that seems to be more than just through their contract, and she does get to claim her soul, so, who knows, she might turn a blind eye like woops the most powerful witch in the multiverse just snuck out my back door what will I do
lovecraft aliens aaaah Black personman save me
Why not just let it die or rest? DMC proved this sort of game isn't evergreen. After DMC3, DMC4 was tiresome, and dmc was trash. Capcom got lucky with DMC5 being good, and since they haven't done anything with it, I'm sure they're gonna wait a long time before they bring the series back.
If you want it to die or rest you are free to just not buy or play the future games.
Idk how the DMC devs feel about making any new games, but Kamiya has been shown to definitely be interested in making more Bayonetta. If it weren’t for that, I wouldn’t even be thinking of having more games
I thought Kamiya only made the first. He's only supervised 2 and 3, which is mostly him shit posting on twitter and being racist against Westerners
I see. I’m not too well read on that. I need similar gameplay to this. Would suck for it to stop at 3.
he is actively involved enough to consider them sequels that he has worked on while specifically mentioning that they are the only sequels that he has worked on.
According to a recent interview, Kamiya wrote Bayo2's story. I think it was kept under wraps at the time because Scalebound was in development.

of course he did. he writes everything related to bayo
It's common sense, but they didn't mention it officially until recently, and I don't believe he's actually credited in Bayo2 beyond a special thanks.
I think he's also credited as the scenario writer for both 2 & 3. It's no secret, I remember him saying he wrote the story for 2 back when the game was released.
Considering the bullshit in B3, it'll be fairies.
>Fortitudo is a bonus fight in a Phenomenal Remnant
>You don't get it as a "Contract Demon" with a Fortitudo themed weapon
Honestly something tells me there isn't really anything stopping her from summoning angels if she really wants to
I would kill for an Angelic themed Bayonetta game with angel summons and weapons.
I think the angels would have to agree to a contract. The witches don't just take control. Otherwise why would they agree to that guaranteed trip to hell bullshit.
Isnt Bayonetta half Lumen Sage?
Honestly I don’t mind if it were another instance of Angels/Demons/game specific enemy type thing like bayo 3. But the idea in my head is that you’re more of a Bounty Hunter doing jobs for Rodin and eventually that leads into the usual crazy ass late game bayo plot.
>Bayonetta 4
correct
lmao
jej
yes its basically confirmed coming down the line.
this, they could have some untouched layers of hell bullshit. Viola (looking like a punk bayonetta) will go to the deepest layer to save Bayonetta and Jeanne.
They can just create some entity that resides in purgatory. Ezpz. But the idea that they have to make a new threat is flawed imo. We can go back to fighting angels and no one would bat an eyelash.
Based on the end cutscene, I'm assuming it becomes like Ghostbusters, just taking random jobs from Gates of Hell/Rodin.
I feel like it would start out like this, then a larger antagonist force would arrive, leading to Viola getting help from Rodin/Jeanne/others to bust her parents out from Hell.
