Kamoshido arc was good, Yusuke didn't grow on me until the second playthrough for some reason. Him, akechi and sumi are the only companions I liked.

Pretty much. Everyone else kinda blows. Ryuji and Ann are well written at first but become significantly worse. And yeah the Kamoshida arc is good, I forgot that.

What's wrong?
Depending on how long you play games for in one sitting, you're going to have days when you're dungeon crawling and days when you're doing nothing but socializing with your NPC buddies. I really wish Persona games did a better job of MAKING you split up the two activities a bit more, but it's optimal to do every dungeon in one go (or as much as the story allows you to do) so you can maximize your free time outside them.
The first 20 hours are fun. After that you get 80 hours of repetition and the exact same dialogue being paraphrased a million times in voice and text messages with some random moments of kino
I bought this game on PS3 on the Japanese release day. Dropped it somewhere in the middle for some reason. It was alright. I do still fantasize about Morgana putting me to bed early and tying me up such that I am forced to pee and poop my pants and stay there until morning however. Sometimes I like to imagine that Morgana himself is wearing used diapers or is rubbing wieners with me. There are many ways to incorporate variation in this scenario.
