I'm not expecting much to be honest. Shovel Knight sold itself by comparing itself to the ancient classics but felt like less than the sum of its parts. I'm not expecting this game to be anywhere close to the gameboy zeldas
Despite it looking pretty primitive, i'm actually quite excited for Sheep Lass (and Sheep Lad). The devs thoughts on "archaic" game design is actually quite refreshing

i seriously doubt many of his high concept ideas will translate. it will probably just feel like any zelda clone. that's what it looks like.
I don't even need a hugely long game, my favorites are ALTTP and Link Between Worlds. The former is particularly fun with a randomizer after you've exhausted the base game. There's just something fun about exploring alternate versions of the same world, and how things link together.

They might have cool thoughts on game design but damn did that game look pitiful in the Kickstarter shots. Doesn't look exciting at all.
