I don't think a bug version would make sense for the defense stat, but a rock one definitely would. Unfortunately, it would have to be 90% accurate for no reason since that's a "theme" of rock moves.
You might be able to get away with a special defense version based on bugs having intimidating coloration or something.
Since Shushuckle is getting 4 flavors of body press, we can give little old regular shuckle U-Turn, right? I think being able to set rocks, webs, AND act as a safe pivot would make our little juicer viable again.

Shuckle was never meant to evolve. It’s built around the gimmick of having the highest defense in the series.
