O12 has 0 personality, the troops look bland and uninspired.
If CB had balls they would have made o12 without forbidden guns or legal versions of those, in return the troops could have been way more crazy with skills and high stats. Also with ways to punish forbidden guns, like with video evidence etc making the other factions not super comfortable using those guns.
Visually they should be full of hard edges and squares and not be blue since all the other factions already have curved armours and pano is fricking blue already.
But nope infinity has lost every single drop of unique visual design. Aliens don't sell and now tohaa are dead and CA look like borring sci fi robodinosaurs + gears of war monkeys.
All the appleseed visual pilars are gone. All the unique looking troops have been remade to look generic as frick, most of the models specially ariadna ones are recycled to death.
Mercenaries and side game characters in infinity were a mistake.
Game balance and inner faction balance is the worse it has ever been.
Hard 15 models cap has been a disaster for the game, it was badly managed, 10 and 16 models lists are gone, cheap factions are forced to play with expensive profiles that were never intended as center piece models, elite factions can go way beyond 16 orders with 15 models while cheap factions are stuck at 15 or 16 max.
Reinforcements was a joke.
Polar bear and the hyper focus on first turn alpha stike with center piece models feels like shit.
Code one is a failure.
The armies have lost much of their personality.
Flammers should burn camouflage.
I have been playing since N2 my name is in one infinity book and I can confidently say that the game is in the worst state it has ever been by a huge margin.

This. Infinity looks so neat from the mechanics perspective but the lore is a delicate balance of equally boring and offputting. I look at the factions and they're such gay mishmashes of ethnicities that I don't want to pilot any of them.

I used to be so much in love with infinity when I got into it around the time of uprising. Even though as time went on many changes weren't to my liking (anon's homosexual long doompost early into the thread covers most of it) I sticked with it. But now I look at this and... I don't even feel like making fun of it. This is just sad. Few years ago I'd absolutely tell you CB makes some of the best minis on the market, these days there's literal handful of palatable releases a year.
