in terms of Triple A titles across the board its kinda meh but I would give the award to Japan especially fighting games. Now that Skullgirls is dead and gone I cant think of a single good west fighter. Mortal Kombat is a strong IP with iconic nostalgic characters but NRS fighters are clunky and awful imo.
but also the East gave us gacha trash so I have to subtract points for that but then again Battlepass and lootbox "hidden mechanics" nullifies that.
Ironically it seems the secret blend to success is to have Eastern devs ape Western dev ideas as we can see Capcom is running laps around other gaming companies by making their games as western as possible.
