Incredibly satisfying.

I hate TLOU but the revolver in multiplayer is pretty good. 3 solid body hits to down, or 1 headshot to instantly down. good side piece and better than the 9mm.

Honestly was kind of disappointed with the revolver. With how powerful all the guns are, it just doesn't stand out like it would in a more traditional shooter.
Making it fire shotshells was a weird idea. Still, it can 1tap common enemies at short range,
But I just love fiddling with it, how many games let you shoot a revolver both in single and double action? Manually wiener and dewiener it? Fan it? Also can be reloaded with both a speedloader or bullet by bullet.
It's just joy to use, even if the two other handguns are probably stronger.

Oddly enough, the best revolvers in any game are the dual wield S&W .500 magnums in killing floor 2. Dead serious. They are rivaled only by the hand cannon in re4
RE4’s broken butterfly has sick animations but I’d also go with KF2. KF2 makes even the starter pistols feel good.

If this counts as a revolver, then it would be this. And broken butterfly from RE4. I lean a bit towards broken butterfly just because it's animation is so satisfying but in terms of gameplay? I barely actually used it other than on bosses, so you don't really get to know the gun. Whereas picrel is basically a mini sniper, and the best gun in the game (well, after the shotgun...it's tied with the sniper for obvious reasons)
Gears of War 2 + the incredibly satisfying head shots feel so good

Nero's Blue Rose is very satisfying to use but doesn't really have the same feel as proper shooting games.
