It's honestly sad that I'm looking forward to replaying them on current gen rather than getting out my PS3. I'm becoming what I despise.
when i last replayed the HD Collection on the PS3 the 16:9 aspect ratio with no way to force 4:3 (really noticeable in the cutscenes) and the phoned in dialog during some of the CODEC calls were really jarring and after i noticed it I couldn't enjoy the game anymore. (autism)
I hope the remakes don't suck otherwise I'll emulate them if i ever want to replay them one last time although I'm looking for other hobbies at the moment. It was fun sitting around being drunk on Saturdays and listening to all the possible CODEC dialog in mgs3 before even leaving the first area and shit like that but every since i beat the bottle i can't really enjoy anything and I'm too dumb to learn games i can only play sober like Wargame Red Dragon and EvE. fml

The red's my least favorite part of it because he won't drop his act when literally everyone in-show is calling him out on how stupid it is and I'm not a fan of the toys or mechs. The rest of it is fine, the cast has some good chemistry, they're starting to befriend one another across country lines, the fights are pretty neat, the CGI studio thing was a good idea for the world building without having to make a million sets, the CGI fights still look weird, and the big bads are actually interesting in what they're doing.
