Dorian's personal quest was cringe and felt like a bad fujo fanfic intro, but otherwise he was all around a much better character than the little rat Sera.
>le zoomer homosexual vs la dios mios
Why do Western devs purposefully go out of their way to make women look unattractive?
Like, I'm all for looking at two girls lezzing out, but if it's something like that then I'd rather just skip romance as a whole.
Inquisition had pretty shit looking women in general. Cass was ok if you enjoy the man-jaw archetype I suppose. I hope they learn from this and go back to shit like Isabella, Leliana and Morrigan
>according to telemetry data Dorian was the least used companion and least romanced character
I think that's hilarious considering they made a big deal about his character around being gay.
That's because Dorian's a Necromancer and Necro is actively bad in Inquisition, without his specialization is just another mage and there's no reason to take him with you when Vivienne is the best non PC mage and Solas has mad DPS, even worse if your PC is a mage too.
Probably due to competing with a slot against more than likely a KE mage MC and the insanely plot relevant solas. Honestly I'm curios on the Varric vs Sera split myself since they're the bow skill focused rogues but varric is well varric . Warriors are the one I expect to be the most even though.
Sera's specialization actively goes against a ranged build, which is her default rogue build, since she's forced to get in to use the alchemical flasks.
Varric's specialization is also pretty shitty but not actively contradicting, the issue is that Varric is technically locked to Bianca so it's harder for him to get to high math levels compared to Sera who can just equip some crafted high tier bow and call it a day, Varric needs a lot more investment in terms of blueprints for Bianca.
Technically Varric still wins out by the end since he can get a lot more shots in then Sera on an ideal build at high level, since Bianca fires faster than a bow and Varric also gets to fire even more shots than Sera, on the other hand Sera's better at status inflictions and detonations due to her specialization, problem is she's made of glass and will die very often which is really not worthwhile unless you personally control her, but at that point she'd be much more efficient at that role by discarding the bow altogether and sticking with daggers.
The issue with Inquisition in general is that the game is VERY focused on tanking unless you play the game journalist modes, so anyone that isn't Blackwall, Vivienne and to a certain degree Cassandra is automatically shit tier to begin with.
Necromancer is bad in DAI. One of the abilities summons a spirit of the last enemy you killed to fight with you for a little bit or until it's killed. Well that's enough to hardlock your game
>One of the abilities summons a spirit of the last enemy you killed to fight with you for a little bit or until it's killed. Well that's enough to hardlock your game
Explain. I don't think I've had an issue with him casting that.
Let's say you get a quest "go to X and kill 5 bears"
If the 5th and final bear gets spirit marked and resurects, you're hardlocked. The last bear still counts as an enemy even as a spirit, it just switched sides. The quest however, is scripted, not the kind you can reload or wait for 5 new bears to spawn. So after it expires you're stuck 4/5.
dorian was fun apart from the personal quest. sera is a literal annoying child, altho taking her to the SHIT DOE UR IN DA FAED quest is amusing, along with the convo followup
I agree. Even if she was an elf she was "one of the good ones" since she believed in Andraste and her flaws like being a rebellious peasant and a gay could have been easily corrected with some rape correction like you mentioned.
If this was a better game the dlc would have showed a pregnant Sera, forced to give birth to your spawn until the end of her fertile years.
Hated both, especially hated Dorian for not only being a dumb gay but also for a throw away line mentioning the imperium has the exact same religion as Andraste just with a man
It's already an awful religion with no redeeming features or compelling dogma but then it's also mirrored by an even stupider version with even less reason to give a shit
Sera was one of the few companions who didn't just wank off the MC and serve some type of wish fulfillment. She felt like her own person with her own motives/interests regardless of what the Inquisitor wanted. She had an intentionally grating personality but not bad writing, the same writer did Carter in DA2 who was prob the best depiction of shithead little brother who thinks he knows everything. I only disliked her recruitment quest because it pretty confusing what was happening
Vivienne had an antagonistic personality but she wasn't half as annoying or eye-roll inducing as Sera though. For me it was how childish and self-serving her Robin Hood act was, and how hypocritical she could be with little option for the MC to shut her down or her own development.
Doesn't matter whether Sera wanks you or not, she's just a bad character that makes no sense like Cole.
Vivienne also doesn't wank you even after you max her approval level and does get very close to you, the thing is Vivienne is actually a well written character, her behaviour makes sense, her approval/disapproval patterns are coherent and understandable, unlike Sera and Cole, and she's also believable as a character.
You know Vivienne is a schemer and somebody who you should be very wary of but at the same time her joining the inquisition makes sense, much like Dorian she's a mage who knows shit's going down hard and somebody has to step in and do something, she has no lofty ideas about mages and all that shit, she knows mages must be strictly supervised but at the same time she's genuinely interested in fighting for making the world a better a place and try to correct some wrongs, like Dorian.
Sera's on the other hand has none of this, she joins you because you're the big glowing man and shit might be fun, and that's it.
hurf durf feggtz git off mai vidyer
le epik oldgayerino!!! XD
Dorian's an actual character and a bro.
Sera's a fricking repulsive hobgoblin who doesn't even make any sense at any level.
Dorian's personal quest was cringe and felt like a bad fujo fanfic intro, but otherwise he was all around a much better character than the little rat Sera.
>Dorian's personal quest was cringe and felt like a bad fujo fanfic intro
which is hilarious considering the writer of Dorian was an actual homo.
I can't believe this disgusting creature is voiced by Y'shtola's VA
Yeah, I had to make a double take but its the same VA. So weird how much nicer she sounds in XIV.
>le zoomer homosexual vs la dios mios

Dorian
I've never hate anyone as much as i hate fricking Sera kick the b***h out first chance i got. Dorian is a bro.
Dorian was surprisingly a decent fellow but I want to hate frick the shit out of Sera
I liked gaslighting them both and convincing them to stay around just to be even worse to them.
Hilarious.
She will be in the new game and I hope she's decided to become a mute nun or something.
>according to telemetry data Dorian was the least used companion and least romanced character
I think that's hilarious considering they made a big deal about his character around being gay.
Weird as he's easily one of the most referenced and drawn ones. But having said that I played a mage build so I never took the other mages either.
That's because Dorian's a Necromancer and Necro is actively bad in Inquisition, without his specialization is just another mage and there's no reason to take him with you when Vivienne is the best non PC mage and Solas has mad DPS, even worse if your PC is a mage too.

Who the frick told you moron tempest archer is shit?
The game, on Nightmare.
It's only decent if YOU are using it, Sera literally can't stop dying as party member, especially if you give her that spec.

This is also probably because Dorian can end up with Bull and people like that ship
WTF
You didn't know?
dorian was fun apart from the personal quest. sera is a literal annoying child, altho taking her to the SHIT DOE UR IN DA FAED quest is amusing, along with the convo followup
dorian is an actual character
sera is a gremlin meme
there's a big difference
made for actual correction
made for beheading and putting on a spike
I agree. Even if she was an elf she was "one of the good ones" since she believed in Andraste and her flaws like being a rebellious peasant and a gay could have been easily corrected with some rape correction like you mentioned.

tl;dr rape correction = good
she needs to get My Fair Lady'd
that would be very cute!
I don't think I've ever disliked a character more than Sera.
I liked Dorian. You need to tell him to stop being a homosexual and he's alright.
God I want to throatfrick that elf. Lovely lips.
>just unlocked 4-5 more open-world maps in a row
>doing the Hissing Wastes
This shit is so fricking boring
there is zero story or gameplay benefit to doing the extra areas. just get in, do the main quest related to the story, and gtfo.
isn't sera the equivalent of a self hating israelite?
more like the equivalent of a hood rat telling kangz gays to shut up
Hated both, especially hated Dorian for not only being a dumb gay but also for a throw away line mentioning the imperium has the exact same religion as Andraste just with a man
It's already an awful religion with no redeeming features or compelling dogma but then it's also mirrored by an even stupider version with even less reason to give a shit
its supposed to be a catholic VS Orthodox thing
The only good gay is a dead gay
Dorian vs Sera in a fight, who wins?
Fist fight or mud wrestling?
Dorian looks physically stronger but Sera looks like she's be a dirty fighter and do underhanded shit.
it'd be like kenny vs jane if you've ever played the walking dead game
Or Sonya vs Kano because he can't resist a one-liner even if it's a bad idea.
Mud wrestling
I find the idea of watching a dyke and gay mud wrestling in their underwear sexually arousing
I didn't even allow the dyke into my party lol.
I can't wait to play as an elf in DA4

Is it true the Sera romance is very different if you're a dalish?
Can't be a believer in Dalish gods and romance Sera I'm pretty sure.
So at some point she asks you to renounce them?
Yeah.
Sounds interesting honestly, especially with the trespasser twists
sera has a hairy penis
that she uses to claim fertile human wombs
Obviously the guy with the cool mustache
I haven't even played the game and I can tell that guy is sick
The best one
i preferred sera
>tfw no ugly bastard sera x cass r34
leliana is the only french homosexual for me
Just a reminder.
Dorian was surpsingly ok
I've never seen someone liking Sera
