4 fricked up by having zero things to buy with all the money you get, other than some cars. It has the better story, but it's more boring to play than V.
IV. Rockstar took a creative risk and it didn't always work out but it's a big balls moment. It also proved gamers are all instant gratification mongs.
The game is too sparse on content and your criticism is valid but I kind of think the lack of economy makes a good dramatic point about how hollow Niko's efforts have been. He got people he cared about killed and now he has a bunch of money. So what.
Was that really Rockstar taking creative license in going meta, though? It's been awhile since I've played them, but I seem to remember that the expansions for 4 suffered from a similar problem when it came to not being much content to use money on.
GTA V is king of lazy, half assed missions. It forces you to look at every corner of the map so there's no player-directed exploration. It's all just Rockstar going "see LOOK!" for 25% of the missions. It seriously felt like they wrote it in a weekend, it's so fricking lazy. Don't get me started on JB Smoove's talk radio. I've had shits that were funnier.
you could over the litany of flaws that 5 has and they're all rooted in the same simple truth: the game is just a glorified tutorial for the online. 6 will be even worse in that regard.
one of the biggest flaws i didn't like about 4 was a criminal lack of car storage. would it really have killed consoles that much to have some sort of garage level you could load into, store cars, pick out one of your many cars, and then load into the main map?
V, and I'm sick of pretending otherwise.
this. IV is boring as shit.
>this. IV is boring as shit.
shut the frick up
oh no one boring mission
much worse than an entire boring game
how about 2 boring missions
don't forget about the submarine mission
I'm convinced that entire mission was just Rockstar trolling
IV is the last soulful game Rockstar made
IV was the start of the realism over fun era of Rockstar
pretty much
True, but because it was only the start, IV still had many redeeming qualities.
IV, and I will beat the shit out of anyone who stops pretending that.

>Map V
how? it's 80% desert
I'd rather have 80% desert than 20% the size with no desert.
fpwp
IV
4 is the better overall game, but I prefer the GTA5 motorcycles by a wide margin.

Four has better missions and driving. I like the aircraft missions in five but it's not enough.
4
majority of Ganker were children when 4 came out so everyone will prefer it and hate 4 because zoomers are obsessed with dlc
I bought it at midnight and had school the next morning.
>and hate 4
5 even
>4
>better driving
Please have a nice day.
How about I kill you instead
i liked 4 but it lacks far too much side stuff to do, just ends up feeling empty.
>just ends up feeling empty.
whoa...just like Niko...

IV is comfier. One of the best vidya cities ever.
V's map is just a waste and the story is bollocks.

after replaying IV, V feels like a non-game

IV had better side characters
But he's black
