Depends on the situation, I would say the elemental resistances can be clutch but so long as you're wearing 'something' you should be fine, having said that you can really feel how shit meme sets like Doll or sweaty garb is against physical attacks.

There should be a fixed up version of his armor, though it does seem to be a mish-mash of the older iconic pieces and burned/warped by heat.
The in-game version is already more fixed up than the concept art.

Game after O&S is fricking fine. The game did peak at Anor Londo, yes, because it was the best area but I never had a problem going through the game after in probably about a dozen different runs. I didn't hate any of the fights, I didn't hate any of the areas, I enjoyed them all. Shut the frick up, you don't play video games you stupid Black person.
To me it always felt like an excuse for buildgays to drop the game after Anor Londo because that's around the time their build is "complete" and they just relegate the character to PVP shittery and are too lazy to continue so they start another character.
Lost Izalith is genuinely terrible and the demon ruins themselves aren't good. That said yeah, the whole "everything after anor londo is shit" just screams of prototypical whiners being upset they actually have to try in the late game, because tomb of the giants, new londo, and the archives are all great even they are a step up in weirdness and difficulty.
They will not leave a Soul brotha in trouble, they might butt-heads but at the end of the day they will all help each other out.
