Which mmorpg should I start playing to make friends, maybe find a wife someday but thats mostly a pipe dream, and not feel so cripplingly alone on christmas? Which mmorpg is the most social and easy to make friends with other lonely people?

I have a few friends who found their partner on WoW in RP guilds. I don't think it's possible any other way.
>GW2 - Mostly old men who are disillusioned with games in general who have nothing to lose
>FFXIV - pedos, child rapists, low testosterone men, trannies and psychopaths
>BDO - Sweaty old men
>ESO - Young men who are too moronic and low IQ to play anything more difficult
etc.
MMOs these days are all tailored to men exclusively (that and trannies). There's very little value there for females.
WoW on the other hand is a bit of a different story. It allows a woman to engage with men on their own terms but still provides plenty of stuff for them to do on their own without dealing with sex pests like yourself.
Nothing beats though getting on keto diet and working out 2-3 days a week. If you want to attract a woman. Start looking at ways to improve your physique, clean your life up, stop trooning out on pisscord and eat healthier. When you naturally start living as though you have room for a woman, you'll meet one and she'll naturally see you have room and space in her life that she can fit easily in with you and you'll get your partner.
I didn't want to play an mmo solely to meet a women. I just had the idea in the back of my head that I could get lucky in some way but know in reality its a really low chance. I only wanted to feel like im part of a group socially so I don't feel so lonely, since I have no friends or family IRL. Maybe I'll try an RP wow server.
>Nothing beats though getting on keto diet and working out 2-3 days a week. If you want to attract a woman.
I think in relation to that it's less caused by what I look like and more of my crappy personality.
Best way to fix your personality is to read books and understand that you can control and shape your personality in whatever way you wish without having to force yourself to wear a mask. Start with some Stoicism, read stuff from Kierkegaard, stop hating yourself and focus on small improvements you can make daily. Not just with your build but your personality. If you feel like you're somehow "softlocked" into feeling a certain way. Assess your diet and get your hormones checked if you feel like you're pushing against a wall and nothing is working. You might find you're horribly iron deficient (anaemic) or otherwise unbalanced in something. Low levels of iron pretty much directly translate to bad sleep, a lot of anger and eventually memory problems.
Finally, if you're really looking for a cheatcode to life, read about and ultimately accept Christ. That's the infinite "I win button" to life and full and total immunity to despair. Once you accept that science can't prove shit, that you have no idea what you are doing, need guidance and that everything including this reply is God trying to reach you and save you from that loneliness and everything else you're describing. You'll never be the same person again and everything else naturally falls into place. All roads lead to Christ eventually and in him, everything is possible. Including and especially a wife and children because that is his ultimate wish for everyone.
>t. guy who found his wife at church after 15+ years of playing games solo and 10+ years living on Tinder prostitutes. I still play plenty of vidya, still have my own hobbies and still have my own identity. Just minus the fear, despair, loneliness and anger.
joining a cult is just a cope
Amen
>All roads lead to Christ eventually and in him, everything is possible
Based and Christ pilled.
>GW2 - Mostly old men who are disillusioned with games in general who have nothing to lose
Theres no women in GW2, only men who think theyre women. Its the troony game.
>Its the troony game
It sure is. I made a typical 'are traps gay' joke in map once and some troon spent the next 15 minutes ranting.
>I made a typical 'are traps gay'
Absolutely based.

Hard to do nowadays since the MMO experience of today is not the same it was 15 years ago. Back then MMOs had mainstream appeal and you had normies and women checking it out due to the novelty and popularity and social media hadn't taken off yet. The MMOs had longevity and you made friends in levelling parties during the arduous journey to levelcap, and you bonded with your guildmates over months of weekly raid nights. People HAD to be part of a guuld to progress because you had 40 players in a raid each with a dozen item slots but only 10 bosses and each boss only drops 1-2 pieces of gear, so the guild was needed to distribute loot and for people to progress as a team through the tiers which took a very long time. Friendships are formed by doing things together, be it golf or hiking or raiding together over months or years.
Today however, many normies and women have left MMOs. WoW is a shade of its former self and the hangerons are a certain breed of autist, and it gets worse the more niche the MMO is. The introduction of LFG and teleporting to dungeons and personal loot and catchup gear and so on made it so that people didn't need to be part of a guild to progress. The guild mentality died and was replaced by a mercenary mentality where everyone sees each other as a replaceable cog in a machine, as an impediment to getting THEIR loot. Even if you do manage to join a raid guild, you're only raiding the current tier and a lot of people stop playing once they clear it, so it's a lot harder to play with people long enough to form bonds with them that can last outside the game.
Also, as said, you can't just find any woman. You need to find a GOOD woman. You won't find her at a bar. You find her at your local Church or Biblestudy group. That's going to be your best bet. Ofcourse, surrender youraelf to Christ too for the sake of your immortal soul, and for her sake too.
If you join lava lash on wow season of discovery you can join the guild im in. It’s small, like 20-30 people, but there’s at least 3 confirmed women judging by VC.
>BDO - Sweaty old men
Kek why is this so true, I've noticed that a majority of BDO players that actually socialize are in their late 20s to 30s
>GW2 - Mostly old men who are disillusioned with games in general who have nothing to lose
nah there's lots of women on gw2. it's easily the most accessible mmorpg for women beyond stuff like mabinogi. whether or not those women are worth talking to is a completely different question though
I hear lots of chicks play ESO though. Where are the young prostitutes who will casually show me their breasts online?
tiktok
DOFUS
I'm in the same boat.
Finally got a modern PC and can game again.
Trying to choose an MMO, not sure what to go with because I only have time for 1.
I think I've narrowed it down to LotR, WoW, FFXIV, or FFXI, but I'm open to other possibilities.
LotR? You mean that old lord of the rings mmo?
>GW2 - Mostly old men who are disillusioned with games in general who have nothing to lose
Don't know about NA, but on EU there's a good amount of stay at home moms and crazy catwomen as well.
FFXI (classic private server) is the only MMO I know where you actually need to talk to people to make any progress, not just in endgame but the entire game
Women? Ffxiv, but bear in mind women are social creatures, lots more than us, Instagram, messages ecc.
If a girl, is very much online, be afraid.
>Why no one invented her out?
>With all the possibilities she have, she has chosen to play an online game?
>What if she is unbearable and has the personality of shit?
>Maybe she plays the game because IRL she is insufferable.
Think about it, mmorpg are a commitment, you just play that, why? Because you are paying for it every month, there is a sense of community ecc.
Women are queens everywhere, so if she is not a queen irl there must be a problem.
Genshin impact probably. I’ve never played it myself but I know 2-3 qts (depending on how you rate them) irl who have said they play it. Compared to the absolute hamplanets who play other mmos though they’re essentially supermodels.
Don't bother, OP. I've been playing MMOs for years and haven't made a single friend.
not sure but avoid FF14. it's basically a single player game with dungeons.
you're like 20 years late buddy
