The nicest looking part of the game is back in Viking Land. England looks like shit and is boring.
Origins on the other hand is similar to Valhalla in that it tries to do something new while still retaining it's core game and half asses everything about it. Egypt is infinitely more appealing to explore, but the gameplay is even more boring than Valhalla.

But the execs at Ubislop decided to put their Ubisoftisms into it regardless. It's a shame going from kino interaction with the characters, and a journey through the beatiful world to a stealth segment where assassinations don't kill you targets because of the autsitic leveling system.

Origins was going strong, and i had cun exporing side quests while doing Main quest, it kinda flowed seamlessly untill the end act where it felt rushed and just mission after mission got dumped on you just to tie up the story. Badly I might add. The roman, egyptian and Greek cities atleast felt different from each other, while in Odyssey and Valhalla its all bland copy paste from one city to next, WHICH MAKES THOSE GAME LENGHTS EVEN MORE PAINFULL.
It would never been the best of the three because:
- Eivor has the personality of a wet sock
- The map is the ugliest one in all the AC franchise, everything is a muddy green, brown and grey. Even the bayou in Liberation is more interesting.
- The main campaign is the most boring shit imaginable. Once you do one region, the others are exactly the same bullshit over and over again
Why? Because of the stamina? Dodge cancel out of your combos, you earn more in two light attacks than three dodges and it makes the combat way faster than Odyssey and lets you be far more aggressive than either Origins or Odyssey.

Nah, Diablo Loot ruining the general gameplay of the series by forcing you into specific playstyles instead of being a jack-of-all-trades like literally every other game in the series proves that. Story is better on Odyssey's end but the characters are terrible across the board outside of Barnabas and Ceolbert. Both Kass and Eivor are some of the worst MCs next to Shay and Jacob, they're completely terrible as characters. Especially Kass since her canon decisions make no sense, particularly with Deimos and Sparta.
Odyssey also has way way more filler in the base game compared to Valhalla, Valhalla only got worse after the added patch content. Valhalla feels reasonably large and has more variety in buildings and locations compared to Odyssey which you very quickly start seeing all the reused assets and content and the checklist gets really egregious really quickly.
