I'm playing it without texture upgrades. I use reshade crt filter except I disable scanlines and live only blur/filter. It's simple like bilinear. Looks mid but still more faithful to OG than ai turd

Well the AI does a pretty good job of managing the characters, and the level at which the game targets the controlled character is pretty absurd. RTWP is a completely different genre though, this game is pretty much you meander around attacking with the basic stuff until it's your turn to do something cool with the bar. rtwp is more like you just have everything run by an AI until something crazy happens and you need to react. RTWP is more like FF12 than 7R
7R if you have to pick one, 15 is the worst FF game

nothing can possibly save FF15, no amount of nuthugging or pretty graphics will ever fix that piece of shit. It's not a complete game. The entire time, all of the characters seem to know what they're doing and why, but the player has no idea. It's some of the worst writing I have ever seen in any game. I'm sure if you went around watching all the movies, anime, playing the gacha and mobile games, the spinoffs, or w/e else they pulled from it, then maybe you could enjoy it. For anyone else just playing the base game, without the DLC, it was truly awful. Boring gameplay, weak piss side content, shallow DLC, unbelievably bad writing. The only thing that saved the characters were the DLCs. Had I not played those, I wouldn't have given a single frick about any of them. It was a complete disaster and probably cost them a lot of customers. No one wants to get rused that hard again on any purchase. It made FF13 look competent.

I mean sure it's only like 10-20% of the original's story but it still feels like a complete game. They focus the game hard on Shinra and you feel like you've dealt with Shinra by the end of the game for the most part so it feels complete enough.

Zodiac age is the same as the Japanese after release thing Square liked to do back during PS2 and ps1 times, so if you emulate it it'd be equally as easy. The game is good and fun but if you really want to get the easy experience you'd probably need to go out of your way with gambits, farming, and good multiclassing. Some classes are just pretty bad compared to the others

nothing can possibly save FF15, no amount of nuthugging or pretty graphics will ever fix that piece of shit. It's not a complete game. The entire time, all of the characters seem to know what they're doing and why, but the player has no idea. It's some of the worst writing I have ever seen in any game. I'm sure if you went around watching all the movies, anime, playing the gacha and mobile games, the spinoffs, or w/e else they pulled from it, then maybe you could enjoy it. For anyone else just playing the base game, without the DLC, it was truly awful. Boring gameplay, weak piss side content, shallow DLC, unbelievably bad writing. The only thing that saved the characters were the DLCs. Had I not played those, I wouldn't have given a single frick about any of them. It was a complete disaster and probably cost them a lot of customers. No one wants to get rused that hard again on any purchase. It made FF13 look competent.

I just realized 7 Remake, something that is 33% of the original game, is a more complete game that FFXV.
This series is in some major trouble.
I mean sure it's only like 10-20% of the original's story but it still feels like a complete game. They focus the game hard on Shinra and you feel like you've dealt with Shinra by the end of the game for the most part so it feels complete enough.
