      >competent story
Story is pretty bad but characters are pretty good.
      >beautiful open world with different unique biomes
Base game Wild Area isn't that good but DLC Wil Areas are quite fun to explore.
      >memorable gym leaders
      Nessa is a total babe.
      >a champion that's actually tough
If you don't have soccer bunny he sure is.
      >no time travel/imagination/wormhole shit
I honestly think Eternatus is better than Necrozma.
      >no parallel universes
Going for a low stakes story after Gen 7 was for the best.
      >no KANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pandering
If you don't count Gigantamax forms, Leon's Charizard, that one random curry npc and Galar's most popular mons then maybe you're kinda right?
      >custom characters that actually look custom
Why are you forced wear school uniforms outside of school again?
      >minimal glitches
There's a difference between making a linear game within a year and making a big ass open world game within a year.
      >interesting DLC and an actual post game
Klara is a better mean girl than Carmine and fighting against bogdanoff twins and then capturing the cover legendary was more enjoyable than fighting game gym leaders again.

Ah, yeah, SwSh had a good amount of character customization, there’s literally no point in buying any cosmetics in SV because you still have to wear your uniform. I mean, it’s an academy, attended by children and teenagers and adults, not a school, so why even enforce a uniform?

SWSH. Better graphics better performance. At least Gen 8 doesn’t look like a washed out mess

I enjoyed SV more because I actually care about the characters this time. It also at least tries to be more different than previous entries, despite the execution being subpar and the potential not being fully met. I preferred the cooking system in SwSh, but as for everything else, SV is the winner IMHO.

The DLCs for SwSh were good, Isle of Armor was better than Teal Mask since there are actual things for you to do. I also liked the SwSh DLC characters far more than the base SwSh characters, but I’m not sure about the SV ones in the upcoming DLC, their designs are too weird for me.

Obviously SV because I'm not a fricking moron.

SwSh, SV is fricking inexcusable how fricking broken it is and that it was actually released to the public in it's state.

The only thing SwSh has over SV are the human characters and trainer customization tbh

    Gameplay: SV
    Story: SwSh
    Music: SwSh
Gimmicks: both are shit but SV
    Graphics: SV
    Performance: SwSh

      >Swsh
      >story
Really? I’ll disagree with you there. The story was mediocre in SwSh, it all amounted to Chairman Rose refusing to wait one single day to capture Eternatus.
SV had not just one, not just two, and not just three, but rather FOUR stories with even better character writing and backstory than SwSh.

I always wonder what if he waited, maybe the plot would have been pretty much the same

I imagine that it’ll play out the exact same; Leon fails to catch Eternatus, Zacian/Zamazenta come to save the day and help you catch the beast, and the day is saved. Only difference is that Rose doesn’t get arrested for starting the apocalypse.

I liked both in their own regard, see

You know what? Fair enough. Could be just recency bias, since I just finished replaying Sword yesterday.
