If you struggled at all to take down either of those Pokemon you're just complete dogshit at baby's first JRPG. They're slow as shit and have minimal threatening offensive prescience.
cynthia is a definite difficulty spike in DPt's game progress. regardless of how easy it is once you know all the movesets and plan for it in advance, if you are going into it blind there's a decent chance you'll struggle against either spiritomb or gastrodon, if not both
Huh, weird. I played Diamond when I was 10 and Plat when I was 12 and struggled with neither of those mons in those battles. Guess not everyone's was as stupid of a kid as you were.

Geeta is better simply because she actually improves her team, putting Glimmora out first, using Kingambit as her ace, and swapping out Gogoat and Veluza for Chesnaught and Dragapult.
Diantha only has one team and she doesn't improve it, so she's the worst champion.
Dragapult is Leons pokemon its already sad they reused the previous champs party. Chesnaught is a shitmon a Meowscarada would have been a way better Grass Type on that team.
