Yes, you'll love it. The combat is shit because it's pretty much a pure stealth game. Both 1 and 2 are fantastic, 3 (Deadly Shadows) is weaker but not bad either. Ignore the 2014 game though, it sucks ass.

Legend of Dragoon is just okay. It's power rangers, and the combat becomes a bit annoying later on. The combat's normal attack consists of QTE combos that may seem fun and make you think that all JRPGs should've adopted it.. however, later on you're just wishing it had adopted all the other lazy JRPG normal attacks so you could move through the game a bit more quickly.
I can tolerate any form of turn based combat if the story and characters are good. Are they?

Only ones I havent played in the top are Dragoon and umineko. Enjoyed them all thoroughly except Castlevania, mostly because I just don't really enjoy Metroidvania/side scroller games. I like to get into a mindset of when the game released and not compare them to modern games when I play older ones. Both the original System shocks I enjoyed as well.
