I have to finish Mahoyo. Found it extremely so so though. Alice and Mountain man were alright.

Well, comparing the sequel to original shiravune did a better job than sol press at least. I still don't know why they're so autistic about honorifics. Just keep them in, it only sounds weird in dubs.
I have been readjng Umineko for the past two years and am still on Episode 5. I've also done Mahoyo, all of Danganronpa, and P3 - 5 in that timeframe. Someone please point a gun to my head and make me finish it. Even Higurashi didnt take this long

Nukitashi but the translation isn't doing it any favors. there are times when the Japanese audio is saying one thing and the English subtitles are saying another.

I can only enjoy sad, bleak and depressing VNs, such as:

started Stein's; Gate, when do the choices come? My only way of influencing anything has been whether or not I shoot emails.
You need to send correct mails to get the true end. I recommend using a guide.
All the other endings happen in the middle and its a simple do you want to get to x ending route or continue the vn choice so you dont have to worry about those

If you go blind there's a chance you'll frick up and get half of the true end flags and if you miss even ONE flag you get in the true end route MINUS the final chapter.
At that point just don't get any true end flags at all which will give you a completely different ending. You'll only have to do 2 playthroughs that way, instead of 3 which isn't necessary
Why would I have to do the third playthrough? The other endings don't matter, do they?
There are 3 endings you can get towards the finale of the game
Mayuri End (0 true ending flags)
Kurisu End (some true ending flags but not all)
True End (all true ending flags)
True end is basically Kurisu end with one more chapter. That's why its a waste of time to get the Kurisu end. Just go for ALL flags or NO flags at all. Though that only matters if you just want to see every ending.
Ex recommended raging loop which I started like 2 months ago but haven't progressed part the first ending to this day. I'm also trying to find a portable way to play these.
I'm waiting to finally learn enough Japanese to start using them as immersion material
