I wouldn't be surprised if this is the marketing department realizing hateful content is more popular on the internet.

PLA actually had a story and characters that interacted and developed. It released in a complete state as well.

I know shills are paid to post here, but you do realise Game Freak always released complete games, despite how mid a development studio they can be? It's honestly bad if you can be compared to Game Freak and come up short in any metric, especially when seeking an audience older than the impressionable moron kids Game Freak laser-target.

I'm sorry if you don't understand what early access is, but you're an autistic troony, so you won't be alive long enough for me to explain it

              Anonymous

I understand what early access is - it's the desperate cry for help for a studio unable to finance projects to completion competently, when it's not just a one-man show with a day job and a hot idea, but no c**t willing to help him.
And Tajiri was able to keep his studio alive, make enough money to get his modus operandi out and fully release it while zoomies think playing an alpha build's impressive. You're the cancer that's killing the gaming industry for gamers, die in a fire shill.

Both games are focused on capturing monsters and Palworld does it much better. It's PLA but
        >when you catch a lapras, you can actually surf with it
        >when you catch a pidgeot, you can actually fly with it
        >when you catch a rapidash, you can actually ride it
        >make a base and pikachu charges your power generator while vulpix melts ores in the furnace and bulbasaur and squirtle plant and water crops that machop will harvest
        >actual boss fights, roaming overworld bosses that you can catch, raid-style battles where the boss has mobs
        >you can throw balls without needing to enter battle
        >lively world and interactive pokemons (water pokemons putting out fire, fire pokemons heating up water)
        >bettter graphics and optimization
This game captures the audience that wanted Legends Arceus to be a good game.

No, I don't give a shit about the interactions, they are pointless, they are only there for the "I JUST WANT TO PET THIS CUTE POKEMON" homosexuals.
If it was up to me I'd dial down the "interaction" to the level of RSE.

People literally cum their pants at HGGS's follower mechanics and were begging GF to bring it back. Interactions with creatures are very important in a creature collecting game.
It's hilarious how /vp/ tards praised Monster Hunter for the lively monsters but now claim they dont want interaction because they're salty about an indie studio

                >It's hilarious how /vp/ tards praised Monster Hunter for the lively monsters
Precisely my ideal Pokemon game would be just Monster Hunter where you can catch the monsters, mostly because I love the aesthetic of MH creatures and how there's no cutesy crap and the monsters are vicious and lethal, like Pokemons would be in real life.

                >they dont want interaction
I never wanted it because it's gay as frick and takes away from the combat.
Pokemon should be rabid creatures that you force to follow your orders, not hecking wholesome puppies.

Pokémon were designed with cute looks so they would become friends to humans. It is why animals like dogs and cats with large heads and eyes are common pets, while ones less cute relatives like bears and leopards are not.

I'd say Pokemon's design is high highs and low lows while Pal's design are more consistent. I dont hate any of them while I hate many pokemons. Also with how interactive they are you get attached to them quick. Pokemons are stuck with robotic models right now and that's sad given the entire premise of the franchise.
Gamefreak should have made lively Pokemon a priority the moment they went 3D but they havent progress much 4 gens in

That differ from people to people. In pokemon, I would maybe use like 5% of the roster, at best. Palworld just got started, but I would use most, if not all of the mons.

                https://palworld.fandom.com/wiki/Paldeck

palworld is infinitely worse because they failed to make the world, monsters, and humans look cohesive

and the models took the worse parts of pokemons style with lack of definition, plain textures and features that look painted on

I think you're right. I've been saying similar things for a while now. Some japs even caught on onto the fact that the pocket pair CEO's statement of death threats is very nebulous and made to play the victim. It would be easier to save your employees life by showing off their concept art than to say "oh no we got death threats we're gonna get KyoAni'd".

part of the reason gamefreak started cutting corners in the first place is because there was no real competition in the monster catching genre, and the only people that attempted to compete were small indie devs that lacked the marketing or originality to make an impact

Shameless tourist here. It definitely feels like manufactured controversy.

It's hard to describe, but the people deep in the discourse trenches defending Palworld have the exact same type of idosyncracies across websites.
