I never liked how he tried to push Jesus and Christianity on the anime community, but I think most ignored it. If you knew Vic, then you knew he was very religious. I think a lot of anime fans liked that he supported the LGBT community and was open-minded, also I gotta admit, he looks pretty good for his age. I think he bleaches/dyes his hair though, and the man stayed in shape. He's what? 52 or something now? You wouldn't tell by looking at him.
All in all I kind of hate he got cancelled, he was really the only VA I followed pretty closely and was a big fan of for most of high school and into college. I think he also tried to appeal the court decision THREE times and was denied all three times, at that point he really should have just rolled over and accepted it. You can't just keep fighting the courts forever, but I think anyone might understand why he kept trying to appeal and fight the decision because it essentially ruined his entire life. He can't find work, and the community he's been working in for the last 20 years blacklisted him. I feel bad for him, it'd be like having to start over in a new field or piggyback off some other kind of industry and even then you might not have any luck. I just figured most of his money came from VA work and convention appearances.
Where do I even go to contact Vic for VA work in the future if I have to? I can't seem to find any reliable contact information.
I doubt Vic is so destitute and desperate that he'll take VA work from just anyone, especially a literal who on the internet. Like most VA's I imagine he had an agent or agents, but they might have dropped him. I assume someone might still be managing him unless he manages himself.

there was literally never any proof of the insane allegations. the most people nailed him on was being a bit touchy during meetups, like he would hug alot and put hands on shoulders. which in that case, alright, he's pushing lines and stuff, worth a talking to from pr, but the claim he dragged multiple women to his hotel rooms and raped them at multiple conventions is wild and never substantiated by anyone
Well I read a lot of stories and allegations on Reddit from people who worked anime conventions as staff and specifically with Vic. One guy said he was very difficult to work with, and very narcissistic and demanding. He needed lighting to be a certain way and needed things done a certain way, think he said the staff even went to get him a cake or something and he didn't even eat it/want it.
Vic is cool guy, but sometimes I think he's also a master manipulator and actor. He knows how to put on a facade for the public and on the internet, but behind the scenes? He's probably different, like in private moments. They say it's not good to meet your heroes. I think it's pretty common for a lot of people to be saints or charismatic out in the open, but when they're alone with someone, who knows?
