The frick was in a coma for a long time and only managed to survive because of putting his body into a system he himself implemented.
He wasn't a cuck that accepted the brain in a jar solution or vault tec cryochambers, he survived using his own knowledge and initiative.
Yes man is a shallow choice that lets you do house but with the- >lol so randumb

I've never finished fallout new vegas, simply because I couldnt level the strip to the ground. I simply explored the whole map doing quests and then murdering all the factions. The whole game puts up a lousy charade of "player driven story" but it's literally the same story just under different names.
Also low int melee only is the only legitimate way to play the game.
Definitely not the NCR or Legion since they ban chems
Probably Yes Man since he wouldn't want House to pull some demon/zombie revenge plot like Vince Desi and Mike J
Yeah but for a New Vegas playthrough it would make more sense that he falls under House's thumb since he always ends up doing errands for whatever reason.
>Tries to do the NCR questline, fricks it up. >Tries to do the Legion questline, fricks it up. >House already hates him for destroying the Securitron below the Fort. >Says frick it and finishes the Yes Man ending.
i just don't personally trust House, which isn't to say I trust Kimball it's just at least theoretically he can be removed from power and the NCR will continue and possibly change.
>Sent a robot to dig you out of the grave (He basically saved your life.) >Created pip-boy 3000 >A very intelligent man >Takes care of strip >Hates taxes >Wants to create a better society and has a vision for better future
He was trying to keep a low profile on the chip, no shit he's not going to tell people the value of what they're transporting. He even made sure to have fake chips as a diversion.
House isnt a faction, he is an old world demagogue with a robot army that is hated by everyone who is supposed to follow him. Every Strip clan is actively opposing him, everyone else on the Strip and in Freeside has dialogue that indicates how poorly he is managing New Vegas. Only the weakest, cuckold Couriers go with House.
I started playing this with the hope I can use speech and charisma to quick talk my way into and out of situations, but the game just wants me to shoot guys
>I'm a [person who supports the ideology of state run business, where the private and the public meet with the justification of blood and soil], so I choose [Libertarian] every time
... huh?
House isn't really a Libertarian. That's like saying Lee Kuan Yew is a Libertarian. Sure they might have Libertarian Economics, but in other matters they are pretty brutally authoritarian.
Is there a mod to make it stop crashing? I was really getting into the atmosphere and pacing of the game, wandering around the wasteland, got to Nipton then it just crashed
I never see a real reason to stab House in the back. I go visit him and the NCR stops me and tells me "go kill this gay for us so we can steal his land, for free" No. >waaah the NCR ending for freeside is slightly better you gotta fight for freedom and democracy
I'm not murdering the guy who hired me, what the frick?
Yes Man with Followers supported, Khans moving out, Fiends pushed back into their vault where the least mindbroken ones live, president alive to catch shit for how it all went down, and generals on both sides dead. Brotherhood left to spin their tires in their vault as well. Boomers be boomin. Basically giving every possible settled population as much independent agency as possible and in my head programming yes man to offer protection to all that voluntarily sign onto it on the condition that all being protected follow rules decided via direct democracy among all associated groups, rather than the often assumed "courier king" power dynamic. Going for an Independent ending in what I consider to be the truest sense. Peeps will think it's dumb or wouldn't work but that's true of most if not all the endings if you're not blindly defending the one you prefer.
Yeah but one of the Independent ending slides says the word anarchy so thats the way it will be in Mojave forever if you go Yes Man, also you are power tripping and youre a self inserting and you think a mailman could be president and Yes Man is actually SkyNet House is just so much better okay so just support House please
You didn't really read my post if you think mailman president and authoritarian robots were what I was going for. Anarchy is only a dirty word for weak people who need other fallible humans with power to tell you what to do.
House had Pip-Boys automatically receive a message upon his death to declare it a tragedy to all mankind. Imagine the level of narcissism it takes to do that.
I imagine it has more to do with the fact he had so much time to himself, by himself, without anything to do. I'd kill time boasting about myself on an obituary as well. He never even finished it before his death, which probably means he forgot about it.
Anyone who sides with yes man is a brainlets, you are not running Vegas, yes man is and he will usurp you if anyone tells him to. Step out for one day and when you come back enjoy securition insta death.
Josh Sawyer clarified that my "more assertive" Yes Man is not going to be taken over by the next person that comes along, and that he is the Courier's steward.
>betray goodsprings so help the powder gangers >betray the gangers to the NCR >betray the NCR and secretly join the legion >get boone to shoot manny, tell him as is before ripping him a new one and throwing his corpse out of the dino maw >get that nerd to betray the ghouls >betray him too just as he leaves and stab him in the back >go inna boulder city, get on the khans side, convince them to let the troopers go before i betray them and tell NCR they can do whatever they want now >go inna searchlight, offer to help the NCR patrol >give their bug to the centurion and bring them backs some false intel >go find the ghoul and convince him to betray his fellows and attack them in a suicidal charge >get veronica as a companion so i can turn her in to be fillet by the white gloves later >get cass to sell her caravan and become my companion, before i betray her and hand her over to the van graffs >betray caesar by doing the van graffs final quest and quickly loot their corpses before it ends >get arcade and start bringing him around until i get his quest, finish it and get the boomers to fight on the side of the legion, thus betraying him too >blow his brains out as soon as he leaves the bunker >find benny, get in bed with him before slitting his throat(it was a woman playthrough) >go to the cove and see the caesar >activate the robots and return to house >enter his mancave and desconnect him from his wi-fi >do legion quests until i need to operate on caesar >betray him and turn his brain into mush >get away with it
Who else maxxed out in treachery?
Theres a few more instances where you can backstab people, but you get the gist of it
If you do that you won't be able to stab him in the back and botch his surgery
Much better to lead arcade on until the very end and then stab him in the back, letting him know that not only did he help the legion, but he got his family friends to do it
I did Yes Man with my Mary Sue and did the Very Good ending for all the quests. It's cool but requires a lot of autism and is too good with no downsides so it's kind of boring to discuss even if it is fun to play.
off topic but kinda relevant, i'm playing ttw and I haven't played fo3 since 2008 on the 360, I've played nv plenty of times since, and I feel like the dialogue choices you have in fo3 pale in comparison. It's either "do thing" or "do thing but be a huge fricking butthole about it" and the choices don't sound like anything a normal human would say. that and there are rarely any spots that require a skill check, and if it does it's extremely high for the area you're in. Are the dlc's any better? I never played the ones in fo3
Yes Man- if my courier has high intelligence
NCR- if my courier is a dumb goody two shoes
House - If my courier has average intelligence and a mercenary/ trader
Legion - Evil courier melee focused courier
Fallout 4
bring back the redditjaks, they make the schizo collages more endearing

So this was made by a homosexual that never played the first three.

Good morning sars
Most condensed and concentrated copium I've ever seen. Do 4cux really?
how many fricking times are you going to make this thread
Yes man and i kill everything
Legion and Yes Man occasionally
NCR is so boring and I've literally never done House because he is so gay
>I've literally never done House because he is so gay
Why? What makes him gay to you?
I will not do the bidding of some rich homosexual who looks like a stinkbug
>some rich homosexual
You're implying material wealth means anything to a guy that is a computer screen.
Don't care
He looks like a crumpled up Chipotle napkin
Lowest T faction
I’m trans btw
Open your mouth I'll feed you some T homosexual
Jesus you Housegays will say anything to avoid the argument
House, of course.
The frick was in a coma for a long time and only managed to survive because of putting his body into a system he himself implemented.

Thr Legion is literally the only possible option for longterm peace, prosperity, and justice.
Legion would be worth picking he had any fricking quest
The institute
'Lijah
Usually NCR because there's the most content behind it and I want to do things.
I like legion but a legion playthrough is you wandering through 100 hostile places with no quests in sight.
Me
wtf is it with all the FNV vs F3/-or 4 threads?
there's one gay contrarian to board consensus who spams whenever the brand's online engagement metrics spike at all

Literally the best faction in fallout new vegas.

he put you in that situation in the first place not telling the courier service it is dangerous cargo

He resembles Andrew Ryan in the way you describe him, which is a parallel I hadn't caught onto before

MOM SAYS ITS MY TURN
Hardcore gamers kill House with a 9-iron! A slave chooses, a man obeys!
I'm a fascist, so I choose House every time.
LARPing morons choose legion, and libs love NCR for some reason.

Whichever fits the character I am playing.

You fricked up

Much better to lead arcade on until the very end and then stab him in the back, letting him know that not only did he help the legion, but he got his family friends to do it
Yeah I dont know man, the way Arcade breaks when you sell is perfect
I mean, wouldn't you if you got sold into slavery?
Besides, that would be a full legion plauthrough by that point
Arcade is gay he should be stoked to be a rome-aboo slave
Homosexual take. I have sex mods installed and I mind break him like a real man.
You are the devil

Not really, unless you count some of the final options. I liked Point Lookout and the Pitt.
Yes Man- if my courier has high intelligence
NCR- if my courier is a dumb goody two shoes
House - If my courier has average intelligence and a mercenary/ trader
Legion - Evil courier melee focused courier
