enemy AI pathing is broken across all games and it's especially easy in 3/ODST to find enemies running around in circles and repeatedly vaulting over the same ledges (play chasm ten firefight in ODST for an especially egregious example)

The MCC Halo CE improved graphics completely failed to understand the Flood levels were supposed to be scary. Which is crazy because the new concept art for their redesigns understood this. They deliberately went against their commissioned concept art to make 343 Guilty Spark a jolly Christmas tree of a level. Morons.
The worst part of the nu art style(started at 3) is by far the covenant redesigns

My main hatred is the limited ammo in guns. The plasma pistol literally has 90% less ammo. The magnum pistol has 75% less. I can’t clear a room without having to scrounge for more ammunition. This is bad enough, but pair it with enemies guns despawning after literal seconds and you end up with a real ammo crisis.
Then the mad fricks decided to make the enemy knights bullet sponges that are able to teleport away, regenerate shields, and even respawn from a flying promethian, and the game is just not fun to play.
