>dithering like obra dinn
wow can't wait for the next big trend in using ''old game" art styles to pretend like your game is good. how about something new for once
If you use your brain for a second before getting that mad. You'd know that it's meant to set an atmosphere.
Nobody is presenting obra dinn as a retro game, neither is OP's game
An evil of the 2deep4u metaphysics the creator made for the game.
What a disappointment this game was. I played it last week, quit the moment I figured this was gonna be a long series of endings-hunt revolving around a manifestation of narcissistic personality disorder.
Lila just needs people to think there's more to her to keep her in their head rent free. That final thing she whispers to the detective means we'll never know what she said and therefore she's in our heads
ok but there is more to her otherwise she wouldn't exist, just because I think of a 9 foot tall deathclaw mommy dom doesn't mean she exists or can lock me in a mind prison
How much of Lila is an entity with an "identity" is ambiguous, because she's technically an extrusion of the Emperor & Empress who are in turn extensions of the Prince going by some of the stuff Lila says in the early game. And based on that, shes closer to a fundamental phenomenon, like gravity or background radiation. She's simply too alien to really define in such strict limiters and that's the entire reason why the Fraternity failed in harnessing her.
No there's obviously a will. Even if the dev straight up told me there isn't, I would tell them they're wrong. Call it extrusions, derivatives, etc, I as mention elsewhere, Lila is essentially It from the Stephen King novel but tries incredibly hard to sound more complicated.

Can you explain this in detail?

In the book, "It" is a malevolent entity that feeds on the negative emotions of humans. There's nothing to say about "It", be it a cosmic evil, a demon, a vengeful spirit, a phenomenon, etc, "It" just is. The more you give credence to "It" the more powerful it becomes. "It" will use whatever power it has to scare children, for example, into fearing it, giving it more power to further make children fearful of him.
Lila wants attention, strings people along, manipulates, causes confusion, and feeds off the thought of Lila. Therein also lies a fact about Lila, namely that Lila is aware of Lila and that others are can / are aware of Lila, so Lila has a "Being", awareness of self and others and the distinction. This is independent of the entire point of perception that Lila makes to William.
Even if Lila only exists in the perception of people, that's existence enough for Lila's will to manifest, which is not at all different from how Satan as a force of evil can be conceptualized to influence people.
>No there's obviously a will.
Only as far as our perspective is concerned, and as Lila herself states, our perspective is essentially irrelevant.
Reply relevant to you as well.

Alright, thanks for sharing your analysis of the entity.
I wish all the endings had more clever cryptic puzzle stuff then just being Same path but you do a slightly different face one time or the wheel shit taking up 3 slots
Lila my balls
Y-you're Lila, right?
Lila is the question in your head that will never be answered
> is actually answered

Lila is the mystery of who Lila is.
a meme
Lila is what happens when an idea gets a little too real
also this game is fricking great

Whoever Lila is doesn't matter. I will find her and I will impregnate her.
Who are any of us really?
I don't know about you, but I'm me.
Are you you or are you merely what you perceive as you?
Both.
i sneed, therefore i seed
A demon from old times
The better question is: who was the baby in Gordon Freeman's locker?
Alyx had already been promised to him
I never realized the doors were same of each side.
Sex with Lila!
No joke, the cult that MC is in is just waifuhomosexuals worshipping Lila
Isn't the second part of the game just them being butthurt at you for being the vessel instead of them?
Yes, the waifu choose MC
Imagine if 2B was real and chose me. How would waifugays feel?
I saw the entire game in a breadtuber video essay, is it good
it was a pretty good video
this game is moronic because Lila exists and has a effect on the world, talks to multiple people, so she can't just be the question of who Lila is.
There is an explanation to a degree of what she is in the Hierophant ending which explains how she works but not what her deal is
She's a meme anon. And as we all know meme magic can affect the real world
Lila is basically The Game
You can never win against her
But "the game" is an imaginary infinite state machine, it doesn't actually have a will. Lila obviously has a will.
It doesn't really matter, Lila feeds off that energy to live, if you think about her she is and then once she is she has you
That makes Lila basically "It" (the Stephen King clown antagonist), just without the underage orgy.
How much of Lila is an entity with an "identity" is ambiguous, because she's technically an extrusion of the Emperor & Empress who are in turn extensions of the Prince going by some of the stuff Lila says in the early game. No problem.

You can, and you do, when you figure up her trick.
This game was sublime.
What are some similar games I could enjoy?
That's what I am trying to find
Who THE FRICK is this
I was just about to post this with the exact same question
Are you me
Maybe
Now neither of us will be virgins.
mommy issues personified
William but the leatherface version
He's that stranger that watches you go down the river
The embodiment of William's trauma, related to his mother, which Lila uses at her disposal.
William when Lila is in control of him.
I hate that 8 hour long video and how everyone now vomits that dude's theories as fact.
He doesn't share any new theories. He just retells what others say about the game.
i still think the game should've had more scenes like the one in Martha's apartment, it was such a cool moment to play through
THE NAME IS LILA
This and more ARG elements. reading that PDF file about memes and tulpas was fun, but I wanted more cryptic shit.
I wish all the endings had more clever cryptic puzzle stuff then just being Same path but you do a slightly different face one time or the wheel shit taking up 3 slots
The Daemon was definitely underused
POST. A. LUST. PROVOKING. IMAGE.
Ok
Lila is the mystery of who Lila is
She's clearly a Serial KLILAh
