map too open and too many empty spaces and the rocky mountain place is really obnoxious when enemy gets there
Amiens has the perfect balance of close and medium and long range combat

Frick yeah Amiens. I love the fact that in conquest armored cars spawn constantly in both bases. Driving around the map, dropping off team mates and running over enemies feels amazing.

The "modern" era begins at the 1500s. So yes, ww1 is a modern war.

"For Americans, 100 years is too long. For Europeans, 100 miles is too far."

The "modern" era begins at the 1500s. So yes, ww1 is a modern war.

The Modern Era begins in the 19th century. 18th century was the Enlightenment Era. 14th to 17th centuries were the Renaissance.

Look up Modern Era or Modern Age. It's an "Era". Things you listed are time periods within the modern era.

Enlightenment is modernity u moron LMFAO

Why make a WW1 game and let everyone run around with automatic weapons? What's the point?

BF1 delivers a WW1 fantasy to the player better than most WW2 games deliver a WW2 fantasy to the player. Especially recent shit like CoD Vanguard and BFV

Even calling it fantasy is stretching it, most of these games just name a few maps after historic battles and that's usually where the similarities end
