I think that's the point. You spend the entire game hearing "accurate" voices then you see this strange guy who sounds wrong and knows things that would be impossible to know about.
One of my favorite videos on youtube. he's the devil, god and death all in one. seriously, this is a fantastic watch.
Some type of supernatural entity. I like to think of him as death/the grim reaper
He's god.
"damn you!" .. "yes, many have". that is the dead giveaway.
concerned with marriage, nuns, judgement, and giving marston the free will to choose.
he doesn't fit your traditional NT sense of God probably because he's the type of God that the writers thought could exist/be responsible for a place like the old west.

The better question is why is it acceptable for Rockstar to use the outrage from the outsourced GTA trilogy remasters as an excuse to avoid remastering GTA IV and RDR themselves? Why is this company still held in such high regard? They are more anti-fan and anti-consumer than EA, Ubisoft, the usual companies that people complain about.
Me

At some point it got to where I only watched this show in the hopes tom hardy would show up some more.
mmmm careful now, masked man
AT LEAST YOU CAN TALK, WHO THE FRICK ARE YOU?
His voice never matched him imo. I don't know how to describe it. It's like he sounded too modern.
The general atmosphere of side quests was so much more mysterious in RDR1
didn't feel the same way, I thought he sounded like an opportunistic business type man of the era

He's Cain from the Bible.
if he's not god he's ha satan, the title of the heavenly prosecutor in the OT, not the individual i the NT.

Old Testament and New Testament, you mouth-breather.
Good morning sirs?

There was a theory I heard in a video I liked, but I forgot it.

An interesting watch. He mentions he's not sure what the alligator under the house is for and I wonder if it has anything to do with Genesis 3:14
Video would be better if he'd stop playing the dialogue and then word-for-word repeating what the characters literally just said.
