replace NiGHTS with Akira from Virtua Fighter for accuracy. Akira appeared in VF1, VFremix, VF2, Virtua Fighter Kids, Fighters Mega Mix, those CG portrait videos from Japan, I think he even appeared in those Japanese wrestling games, and made other random appearances. NiGHTS only appeared in one Saturn game.

Virtua Fighter was still an arcade game first and foremost. NiGHTS was used as the face of the Saturn because it was the most recognizable exclusive on the thing.

This is incorrect. The top guy is Ricky Bobby from the movie Talledega Nights (the joke being that the PS3 was a "no games machine", and the Talledega Nights Blu-ray was once a pack-in with the PS3). The bottom guy I'm assuming is the rapper Travis Scott (he was part of the PS5's launch marketing campaign).
Sonic still had a presence throughout the 90's in general. Don't forget there were three cartoons, a comic series, and SEGA still made Genesis stuff after the Saturn, like the Nomad
