Tbf this has been my opinion about almost all American award shows for the last few years. This year, Everyone Everywhere all at Once won the Oscar for best picture. God knows what goes on in these people's heads

If Zelda wins I'll never take this show seriously again. It would set such a terrible precedence. GOTY needs to be a somewhat unique gaming experience, feels like there should be a rule in place that diqualify remakes or games that reuse the same map.
I think Starfield or Baldur's Gate will win, but my personal GOTY is Pikmin 4, which will not be nominated.
BG3 wins everything and every award it's presented with has something of questionable gender drone on and on about how wonderful/inclusive/stunning and brave it is
