this is a technology made for advertising and other gimmicky shit. if you thought they were market this as something for daily use, you're a fricking moron.

What exactly is the usecase for these gaming-wise? At most, I can see it being built into some appliance for that minimalist high-tech-y boring-ass look.
It's transparent, for crying out loud, unless you can create a dark background behind it, it'll give you headaches and eye strain from trying to read off of it.
Only use is more advertising cancer that the other anons have mentioned, and we already have more than enough of that eye-raping shit as it is.
Hell, even a real-life hologram would have questionable utility if it can't create a 100% opaque background to make things more readable.
Did you fail an assignment to end up here, or was 4chins your assignment in the first place?
Either way, my condolences mr.glowBlack person, you should schedule a psych leave, you'll need it soon enough.
fun fact Black folk aren't involved in the supply chain these are displays not electric vehicles, now get the frick off this board and go back to r*ddit
Pretty cool, but I don't see a demand for it from a practical standpoint.
Though you could have it being the cover of a painting or something, so when the TV is off it just looks like a painting on the wall.
wasnt there a ffxiv youtuber called bigdyke or remover or something like that that used one of these and called it "the gaming glass"? wasnt he sponsored by squeenix even? am i misremembering this?
this would be a cool monitor if it could also blur the transparency layer. Might be cool to play around with transparencies in vidya but I don't see anything outside of unique art-directions that could capitalize on the transparency.
the transparency could be used as the windows of a fancy restaurant at the top of a skyscraper, and when you look out the windows you get ads for gucci
Seems pretty shit, it has color splashed all over it
im ready to frick ur mum on the living room couch
Transparent screen are, have always been, and will always be a stupid meme

They're just going to use this tech to plaster obnoxious video adverts over building windows.
