Who's right?

With the large difference in scores, do you agree with critics or the people?

The hard truth is that critics are often correct.

Godhand... I'd agree with you but Critics are shit at video games, anything with skill or depth is overlooked

I agree with the critics, because the writing for this game has been on the wall for a year now and anyone who still bothered to play it is either in deep denial, dense beyond reason or otherwise delusional.

Maybe DC fans genuinely enjoy it

        >Maybe DC fans genuinely enjoy it
As if capeshit fans have any taste. The game's by-the-numbers GaaStrash from top to bottom, its getting the scores it deserves.

Do you not know what the word "often" means? Did you think one example means anything when there are thousands of games every year?

its an example of critics ignoring good gameplay, maybe suicide squad is too difficult for critics.

Nobody is buying it, and the few people who did buy it even after all the red flags are huffing copium.

Neither are harsh enough. Also I'd argue the user scores are high because most people who would have left negative reviews simply didn't buy it after reading it was shit.

critics are contractually obliged to play a game through until x criteria

critics often don't finish games, especially if its long. When they have enough words to fill an article its a go.

Sure, but theres a certain level of known quantity there

They're not just going "I spent money on this so I have to like it and keep playing or Im a sucker" like gamers who have 50% chance of either recommending a game or not based on a youtube video they saw talking about it.

If you actually read the steam reviews, most people have negative opinions about the game but still relt the need to submit it as "recommended". Fricking morons

Sounds like score manipulation on the left. I don't know a single soul talking positive about this game. Be it on any website or in real life.

Anyone buying it is probably the same looter-shooter moron who enjoyed Destiny, Anthem, or any of those other trash games.
    Democracy was a mistake.

The IGN reviewer liked that Avengers game and is a fan of looter shooters and he still gave this a 5.

I played both, SS is leagues more fun and less repetitive. Avengers had better loot and endgame though, but that was like a year after release when I played.

Have any of these GaaS titles come out and not been complete critical failures?

I've been watching a stream of it. Actually insane to think of all the better concepts for different games Rocksteady could've made.
    >Batman Beyond
    >Nightwing or Red Hood
    >Superman
    >Justice League
    >even some soulless assett flip of the AK batmobile for an Arkham Kart Racer would've gotten better reception

Looking at the reviews, the absolute base level "positives" that those reviews have are "BUT ITS FUN". And those reviews are also pelted with clown badges.
I wouldn't put it off DC fans to be this desperate.

half the reviews are saying the game is mediocre but recommend it anyway and the reason is simple. The game is GaaS if more people don't buy the games it dies, no more content and the server goes down. These people are trying to convince others to buy into it because otherwise they literally just threw their money in the garbage

I can only imagine the ratings on any "app" (Steam not included) to be absolute normie morons. Users reviews on Metacritic are fine, and especially if they disagree with critics, you know something is up, regardless if it's warranted.
