Devil Survivor 1 Law path is very good.
It was a shock to me, since I've finished DS1 first, and then Strange Journey, to find out that Law ending is... What it was.
They say that Redux eases the tone with the new Law and Chaos endings.

Nocturne is straight up Chaos as the correct decision. Even ignoring Maniax's additional ending with the Lucifer fight, the three main Reason endings are just three Law endings, even if they pretend to resemble LNC. They're all following Kagutsuchi's plan. Rejection of Kagutsuchi but having strong resolve is Freedom (aka Chaos). And then the bad ending is not having any resolve and being left to a doomed world.
The true ending is always the one with the most boss fights.

IV Law isn't even that bad if you're from Mikado. You're already one of the chosen, and Mikado itself is meant to represent the Garden of Eden, with the Black Samurai/Lilith being the snake that introduces knowledge that corrupts the kingdom. Tokyo is filled with corruption. Obviously that's not entirely their fault, but it is human nature and corruption arises regardless of there being peace or anarchy. When you rescue the archangels, the corruption that has been growing in Mikado since the appearance of the Black Samurai is quelled (along with the caste difference that had been growing even before), even if it's by magical brainwashing, and they return to an idyllic society. If you side with Law, you end up wiping out all of the unclean and those who have been overexposed (you, Merkabah, Isabeau) to protect Mikado. Yeah, it's extreme and nobody has free will, but when everyone is magically brainwashed into being content, does it really matter? Do you think any Casualries or Luxurors care? They can live in peace and happiness and ignorance. From a purely selfish perspective, this is the ideal solution.
Lucifer invading Mikado at the end and putting everything into World of STR as your home burns to the ground is the selfishness of the strong. "I am the strongest so I will survive, everyone who is weak is sinning and so they will die".
Neutral is the simple rejection of gods and demons and leaving humanity's fate in humanity's hand.

There isn't one. They are canonically different univeserses with a few homages. The Demonica in SJ is created by the UN while in IV its the JSDF.
