III was bad - overly long tutorial (no I do not want to play hide and seek), bloat with the hunting crap, taking away the urban parkour element and replacing it with woodland, poorly designed stealth like walking through bushes.

Milhouse is not a meme is no longer a meme. Therefore Milhouse is a meme now

This was sidestepped during the fad for Simpsons mashups when the dud became a meme. It's Milhouse-but-not satisfying both.

If you’ve never seen the show just admit it. Milhouse is a dick to anyone including Bart anytime he can get away with it. He even wants his parents to stay divorced and compete for his live so that he’ll “cash in”. He’s a piece of shit.

Also being a lecherous creep with Lisa isn’t a redeeming feature.

Yeah, a lot of those nerd/loser types are losers irl for a reason, and you'll find that reason out very quickly if they ever get the one up on anyone. Milhouse turns into the middle manager that won't give you a raise, but immediately folds and asks you to call him when you put in your two-weeks because of it.

The first flash-forward episode had him getting a job at the nuclear plant, and it seemed like he was Homer's supervisor. And he always pulled some petty move like making him work overtime when he heard Lisa was getting married.

The thing about simpsons characters is they act different depending on the episode but when people try to define them they go for an overall trend which leaves out certain character traits that appeared in only a few episodes

Milhouse is loyal to a fault. He's like a dog.

No, he isn’t. Bart is the only one who will be friends with him. The second that changes, he drops Bart like a sack of potatoes. He’s not loyal.

    I'm going to say it.
The Armin Tamzarian episode isn't bad, it had great jokes and some interesting action sequences for a comedy show. And the retcon itself does give depth to the Bart and Skinner dynamic because it shows that they're rebels cut from the same cloth.
I do blame that the fact that after this episode Skinner became a whipped momma's boy which retroactively made his competent moments irrelevant

If people look for consistency in lore in a show that has dozens of writers, over hundreds of episodes, written over decades, they are moronic.

i think even in a show that outright makes jokes out of not having continuity saying "actually, skinner isn't the real skinner" was a bit much.
it was also the tipping point after an already underwhelming season.

Moe has no redeeming factors either. Shamelessly stole Homer's drink and profited, then his big redemption moment is "I'll sell the formula and give him half the profit." Homer deserves all the profit from the sale of the formula and from every "Flaming Moe" he served. Meanwhile Homer always covers for Moe like when he helps him hook up with that chick and helps him with the car insurance scam.

no because chuds are arrogant underachievers that expect merit and prestige based on their ethnicity. grimes was a frustrated young man that had to work like a mule and received little to nothing in return, being angry at the world is a sane and legitimate response to that
