I didn’t play Gen 5 or 6 but now I have to for my boy Looker. I also heard they retconned it so the guy on the SS Anne in RBY to be Looker in disguise. Idk if true but I did play Red on VC

It's not really a retcon, there's just an npc on board that claims to work for the "Global Police". Looker's the primary International Police agent we meet throughout the series, so it could easily just be a character concept Gamefreak expanded on in gen 4, thus possibly retroactively making it him.

I liked how SM followed up on these two, considering they said in XY they were trainers but weren't ever shown using any Pokemon
yeah, these two were a lot more interesting in SM
you already posted him. the shockingly realistic and bleak depiction of amnesia leaving him a broken shell of himself caught me way off guard, and it had me hanging on every word he said. they'll probably never top him.
also i want to see Mina again. no particular reason to bring her back i just like her.
Fallers are interesting because the concept of other worlds (dimensions) has been around since gen 1 with different versions taking places in different worlds hence the need to trade between versions. Or even certain pokemon who are transfered being said to have traveled through space and time. Having characters be ripped from their worlds and into a new one entirely is so sci-fi and I wish pokemon expands on this more. Those frickers from USUM being purple humans from a world where they have no Sun is such a good concept but the Ultra Recon Squad wasn't as fleshed out as I'd hope. Imagine certain species of Pokemon were used to but as regional variants from there

While we're on the topic of fallers, how plausible do you think it'd be for their eyes and hair to change color?
Like if they had brown hair and blue eyes and they both changed to green and purple respectively.
Or if their kids are born with such mutations. I wonder how that affected their history.

The Subway Masters are insanely popular (especially with girls) in Japan, it wasn't too surprising. Plus, his name can also be used for "climbing" even if it originally referred to getting onto a train. And yes, he's definitely a faller.

I don't think it's likely for such a change being the result of the falling itself. However, they could come from an alternate dimension where their hair or eye color is different from another iteration of that character that we know.
