>Worldbabby can't handle a basic flying high rank monster despite the fact World autohands you flash bombs and every flying monster is basically grounded with how they fly
O I am laffin
I remember base World letting you spam flash bombs to assrape flyers but didn't Iceborne nerf flashbombs to work only once or twice per area? Does that retroactively apply to base World now?
>Make the flying monsters fly >But make them eventually immune to flashpods if you use enough >Now they're just flying in the air forever and you just have to spam ledges to hopefully get a mount or use that one move in your weapons moveset to swing upwards >Or just use a bow or bowgun
Tell me about the gameplay design here. How is this fun? How does this encourage the player to use tools during monster hunts when they stop working?
Don't even get me started on the whole clutch claw thing. What's the point of the clutch claw mechanic if every time the monster moves you get knocked off of it? It becomes harder and harder to do as you progress in the game because the entire end of the game consists of fighting elder dragons that offer less opportunities to get a tenderize in. They don't get tired or drool as much as normal monsters, so the entire feature becomes a hassle to use in your hunts.
And why the frick am I still playing it even when it pisses me off so much?
Why is this game literally unplayable without tremor, earplug, stun resist all maxed there's literally no room for offensive skills if you don't wanna be stun locked by all the things the monsters do
If you lack the skill/desire to avoid attacks, use your weapon's abilities like tackles to mitigate roars, and positioning such that you don't get mulched by the monster's crowd control, then defensive skills will contribute to your overall damage more than offensive skills because they allow you to keep attacking. The monsters are generally not just bags of HP that you reduce to zero (unless you're using a bowgun), there is an ebb and flow to the fight that rewards your understanding and execution by allowing you to stand closer to the monster and be more aggressive without being killed.
rathian are ez, rathaloses are the annoying ones and they are a joke in world / rise. They will instant charge and do tail spin, they will spin two times, they will fly and you will use a flashbomb to deal 90% of their hp in 1 combo. In world you can also stunlock these Black folk by hitting their feet
Honestly the whole end-game main-quest for World was bullshit, tedious grind for faster flying and hopping around to ruin your lock-on monsters now with stupid expedition grind (which can be done fast, thankfully) to go to the next monster.
Iceborn sort of fixed it, but had like 1-2 times where it fell into that trap as well.
Have you tried using flash bombs?
King and Queen of the Skies babe!
>pink rathian
lol
lmao
wait til you get to silver rathalos
Have you tried equipping a heavy bowgun

Flash pod immunity fades away over time
ledge hop

have you tried proper spacing and not getting hit

isn't there a souls game you should be playing right now?
I don't like fromcrap outside of ds1, I just played the rest to shit on em with morr basis
People like you are so fricking annoying man why are you trying to act hard for anonymous strangers on the internet. Who are you trying to impress.

unless you can cum from having your nipples sucked I'm not gonna frick you dude
>Why is this game literally unplayable without tremor, earplug, stun resist all maxed
Just block lol
Blocking doesn't stop roars/stun.
>t. Rushed through the game
Works on my machine. Brute Tigrex can't handle Offensive Guard.
Even with SnS I rarely have a problem with Raths. Skill issue tbh.
>use flash pods
>use traps
>hit legs to trip them
>use bombbug cage
>use para/sleep
>use KO
Rathian and Rathalos variants have always been boring fights and they only keep bringing them back because of their legacy.
have you tried using GUN?
