But in Pokemon everything was kept more or less vague. Who was the strongest? Who was the weakest? Who knows. Nobody cares. It's not established and never will. Everyone can think their favorite is the strongest just because. It was like that for 20 years. Outside the PC which doesn't count for obvious reasons everything was fair game. Everyone was allowed to form their own perceptions based on their own experiences.
