Zack is probably confused as frick but the truth is that just like Cloud's climax in the story happens, Zack's will happen at the same time. Both of them will realize that one died and the other survived. So they will probably shift the focus to saving the world after it.

We never saw an Aerith that never met Cloud or at least doesnt know who he is. The proof of that is how even that other Aerith from the other world knew him becauseh er materia was intact. If there is still an Aerith in Zack's world, she would probably know Cloud too.

In general there isnt anything we can say about how Aerith and Cloud's consciousness work in these worlds because they're outliers.

Again, we dont even know how Cloud and Aerith's minds even work. Until we see two versions of them walking around at the same time we can never be sure if they even can, differently from characters like Kyrie.

The Cloud from Terrier was OUR Cloud, because Remake's Beagle turned into Terrier and Cloud left through the edge of creation. Zack is from Beagle and his Cloud is effectively a corpse created as the result of each world needing him to exist.

My argument is that Cloud transfers his mind between bodies, so it doesn't matter if Zack's Cloud never met Aerith. Cloud met Aerith in another timeline and if that Cloud were to ever wake up, he would just have the mind and memories of our Cloud exactly like he did in the date world.

The thing is that zack is in a copy paste of remake's world, but now "our cloud" just vanished and the party lost the final fight. That's it.

IIRC in OG Bugenhagen and the party are surprised when it glows green in the spirit hologram of Aerith’s death, because it means she had activated it. Apparently it’s white/pale green normally when it’s inactive.

What's interesting is that the implication is that White Materia isn't expressly meant to summon Holy. It's purpose is to put people in communication with the Planet and that person can pray for Holy. Afterwhich the Planet makes a decision on who lives or dies after Holy is fired.
