I can't speak for Braid, but the Witness is pretentious done properly. The "tutorials" are all in-world and are missable. No waypoints or goal list. No real need to 100% but makes you do some goofy things if you're a completion autist like watch a real-time hour of an eclipse to join an environment puzzle
