>it's real
What in the absolute frick am I reading?
The hemorrhoid cherry on top of this shit cake is that they hired the fricking abridged VA for him
>they hired the fricking abridged VA for him
Back in the day I wanted a version of Hellsing that was in Japanese except Alucard. Alucard would be Crispin Freeman, he did that good of a job. Maybe he's got old man voice now or something. Maybe this whole thing is moronic.
>Been waiting for a Hellsing video game for fricking years >Or hell even a Hellsing mod for VTMB or Bloodrayne or whatever >Closest thing is a DMCV Hellsing mod >Despite this, Hellsing's first official video game debut is fricking Call of Duty >A game series with gameplay that is literally the opposite of any of the crazy fight scenes we see in Hellsing (even 2001's) >It's not even a standard Hellsing soldier, it's literally Alucard himself.
This is so fricking gay.
>You lived long enough to see Hellsing's first ever official video game debut is a Call of Duty crossover >You lived long enough to see Call of Duty making anime crossovers
>Call of Duty gets a crossover with an anime franchise that hasn't been culturally relevant for a decade and was niche even when it was
This is the weirdest fricking timeline
I love Hellsing but I could not possibly have seen this one coming
Is this just a high level shitpost by somebody with a lot of money and good taste?
b***h I WAS one of those forum avatars, but I wouldn't say that Hellsing was ever more than niche. It got passed over a lot because it's seinen and that shit never ever does as well as shonen.
Bruh Cold War has a fricking Touhou reference, and the CIA operators and Perseus soldiers are literally just the MSF troopers and Ocelot Unit from MGS, the COD devs are a bunch of nerds.
Regardless it's like Spawn or Ash Evil Dead or Shredder or Skeletor being added as operators, or Judge Dredd, Scream, Donnie Darko, etc. being added in Cold War not the most immediately culturally relevant thing but interesting enough to the fanbase that has money to spend.
>anime is getting increasingly normalized >call of duty is getting decreasingly super serious military setting >AAA video games as a whole has entered new levels of greed no one could have seen over a decade ago, let alone generally accepted with little backlash, and sometimes even praised cause of crossover shit like this
and yet all I can do is laugh. It's gotten so bad that it's downright comical.

Bullshit. There's no way they hired the Abridged VA instead of Crispin Freeman.
>Most powerful and dangerous vampire ever >Looks like a crosseyed moron
Can't take this guy seriously at all
That's just the 2001 Anime which had a lot of strange animation errors due to it's lower budget and being rushed to hell and back due to Hirano's autism.
Yeah but it's not detailed enough to make it clear and looks goofy because of that. Plus the anime had other similar animation errors, you can look them up. This edit
fixed
would've probably been the best low budget solution.
>Nothing on IMDB >No articles mentioning this >Nothing on Takahata's Twitter other than some vague post
I smell bullshit. Where did you get this information?
Yeah but modding Gungrave is next-to-impossible. I am genuinely surprised no one had made a mod of Bloodrayne replacing Rayne with Seras.
There is a VTMB Alucard mod but it's broken and barely works.
Hellsing's first videogame debut would be some flash shit or Hellsing mods for Max Payne.
I never heard of any Hellsing flash games (do enlighten me if it exists though, I'd be curious to play it). But I do know about the Max Payne Hellsing mods and to my knowledge they were either scrapped or barely finished. I don't think it counts as a finished project.
Plus I said "official" video game debut.
I remember playing some platformer about a dude with two guns wearing a red coat and a hat way before I watched Hellsing for the first time. 2003 or even earlier. Pretty sure it was Alucard.
As for the Max Payne mods, they're finished, from what I remember, but janky as hell. Still fun in their own way.
>I remember playing some platformer about a dude with two guns wearing a red coat and a hat way before I watched Hellsing for the first time.
Must be lost media or it was something inspired by Hellsing. I can't find anything on it or Newgrounds or any other site (barring some really shitty 3D game that used an Alucard model but had nothing to do with Hellsing otherwise). Do you have any more information on where it was hosted? >As for the Max Payne mods, they're finished, from what I remember, but janky as hell. Still fun in their own way.
Interesting. I assumed they were unfinished given how the Moddb page made it seem like this. I guess I'll give them a download and try it out, thanks.
Death Battle claims that Dio's Space Ripper Eyes could destroy Alucard's entire army of 3 million in one go.
It's bullshit, but believe it or not some people defend that.
They also had THE WORLD as 1500 X the speed of light.
DIO is Luke Valentine or Dandy Man-tier to Alucard. Just a vampire with a gimmick. Even if we assume Alucard has no way to see or harm The World, The World isn't actually strong enough to kill Alucard no matter how many free hits he gets in. And since we're taking JoJo rules into account for DIO's sake, it's only fair to take Hellsing's rules into account and say that Alucard's anti-vampire weapons would work just as well on DIO as they would the vampires in Hellsing. We know that DIO is still vulnerable to everything considered a vampire weakness in JoJo, hence his refusal to get anywhere near Joseph while he may still be capable of using Hamon, and him dying in sunlight. So it's reasonable to assume that a shot from The Jackal would completely ruin DIO. There's no universe where Alucard doesn't win.
They'd both be completely fricking raked by Vampire Hunter D, though.
I'm not too familiar with the D novels, but I know of little tidbits. The original OVA and Bloodlust were both adapted from very early novels, and later on the series becomes more of an anthology with new characters taking center-stage, whereas D is the Mad Max type who wanders in and helps solve their problems for his own reasons. As such, he becomes more an more of a walking Deus Ex Machina with feats that go well beyond Dragon Ball Z territory. I'm pretty sure I heard that he once fought a collapsing black hole and won.
Holy artifacts themselves do not harm Jojo vampires, since it's not demonic in origin in that setting.
But regardless, if Dio messed up even once and got shot in the head by the Jackal, he would be dead. His brain would be completely destroyed, he's not coming back.
Ah yes, 1500xFTL, nuke punching, continental splitting eye laser (anime only) cant regen from shit Can also mind control gods because no one said he couldnt. DIO.
im sure you are one of those death battle morons. (a BIASED AS FRICK show), so. lemme explain to you how would that actually end:
>ZA WALDO! >Dio manages to kill alucard, hooray! >but whats this? as soon the timestop wears off Alucard appears behind him and shoots the shit out of him. >THE. FRICKING. END.
Be it before or after the end of HELLSING's Story, and even leaving the message of 'monsters will never prevail', theres no way in hell Dio could beat Alucard, on the simple grounds that Alucard is 100% immortal, be it from his 2 million lives, or thanks to schrodingers powers who make him a true being beyond life, death and existance.
maybe DB got Saitama vs Popeye right, but only a moron who has never read manga would believe that level of bullshit.
Anon, the head researcher for that ep was a guy named Swan. He is legit gay for DIO. He took a now deleted blog he made years about this very fight. Its word for word more or less. It ignores everything about how jojo works and ignores everything about alucard.
I honestly like TV more than Ultimate because they focus more on Seras and Integra throughout the series instead of dumping all of their plot relevance to the latter half of the show.
Honestly same. That and the focus on the Hellsing Organization as an organized Vampire-killing military unit. Meanwhile in the manga and Ultimate the Hellsing Organization gets killed off after the first volume and replaced with mercenaries. The slower pace and it being written by Konaka also really helped make it more interesting than Hirano's version.
Yeah they started making the anime pretty early.
I think its worth watching just for the visuals and the music alone, but there are some cool ideas.
Personally I think Incognito is a really cool concept but he wasn't handled that great.
Worst part is they did a trailer previewing the anime the year before and it aired and it was full of stuff that happened after what was adapted in the anime
The stuff the TV anime adapted was done better, it expanded on it well and it had a great atmosphere to go along with it. But once it went on it's own path it shat itself.
Funny thing is, that historically never happened. Dracula/Vlad was too ugly to be molested. Instead that happened to his younger brother Radu (nicknamed The Beautiful) who ended up falling in love with Mehmet and tried to kill Vlad later on when Mehmet ordered him hunted down after Vlad started to stir shit up in Wallachia.
I have a feeling the Kouta Hirano wanted the character to resemble Seras Victoria in a very subtle way.
They both are short haired blondes. Just spitballing a guess.
The ends are specifically people who died hating humanity. It leads to a lot of historical figures that are viewed as heroic or good being ends, because they died a tragic fate where the masses turned on them. Drifters on the other hand can mainly be summarized as "absolute madmen". They don't even get any directions or info about what's going on because Murasaki knows they're gonna try to conquer the world or something in that vein of their own accord.
Due to acute AMV exposure in my youth I literally cannot think about Hellsing without hearing Good Charlotte's "Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous". That's all.
>hellsing >pop culture
The thing has been dead for 10 years. This seems more like personal goal if anything.
It's the other way around. No one gives a shit about Hellsing or Spawn or Jigsaw. Seems like CoD is doing so well that some higher up boomer was given free reign to burn money on stuff from his childhood.
I agree, but to be fair anime these days is cringe with no new iconic badass protagonists coming to set the record straight. Still though, Alucard is beloved as an anime protagonist and people still talk about him to this day. >No one gives a shit about Hellsing or Spawn or Jigsaw
Spawn was in MK11 and a new Saw movie is coming this year.
I think Cod ceos saw that adding nicky minaj and tomb raider in the game, yielded positive results and now they pretty much hurrying up to meet the Halloween deadline, meaning that every iconic character who is available, gets in
Lets be real those collabs have been planned for a long time anon. They have a collab every season they got messi and neymar at launch. Doesnt get any more random than that
It's the other way around. No one gives a shit about Hellsing or Spawn or Jigsaw. Seems like CoD is doing so well that some higher up boomer was given free reign to burn money on stuff from his childhood.
Those properties are cheap as frick to collab with. There is a reason almost every single cod collab is the same as the ones mortal combat get >tmnt (this was injustice but still) >The boys >Scream >Texas chainsaw massacre >Terminator >Spawn (todd loves money) >Evil dead
Most of them are beloved late 80s early 90s pop franchises that are mostly trying to revive their ips
>TMNT >Scream >The boys
These are not cheap, TMNT IP is still as strong as ever. The two latest scream movies have been Critical and audience hits and the boys is another loved show with no signs of slowing down.
Regardless of success they hand out collabs easily is what i mean. Tmnt was probably because of mutant mayhem promo (no idea during injustice 2, probably being a wb ip made it easier) and the boys is about to start the promo for season 4
Same for scream. Scream v was releasing in 2021 so they handed the promo to cod. Now they gave it to MK1 too. For one reason of another they are not picky with collabs. Notice how its almost the same ones and i even forgot about rambo which was in both too
I bet my ass if cod wanted predator or alien collabs it would be easy as shit to get them

How have you missed all the saw X adds? And are they doing a saw Collab
Although with that said I'm guessing that dead by daylight should see another wave of pig nerfs.
there is nothing additional that relates to the conflation of civilized comics and marvel/dc
Anon he's saying that for the most part writers in Japan has more control over their IP then writers in the west and that is entirely true. Create a new series for shounen jump and it's yours, create a new series for DC and it's owned by DC. create something for Imagine comics and that's yours

Its a shame since shooting dudes still feels good
>first game to receive a Hellsing crossover of any kind is game with autistic gun attachment customization
Now you know what he has been doing instead of FINISHING DRIFTERS
Drifters is a lot of fun, but you have to go in with two expectations:
1. It is NEVER going to get a conclusion, and most likely not even a second season
2. It's full of really obscure Japanese history trivia that even a turbo-weeb isn't very likely to understand. Just accept that when Toyohisa and Nobunaga start talking among themselves, you aren't going to know what the hell they're talking about.
The old anime's soundtrack was basically its own Genre, always wanted more of that style but never found anything similar, not even Ishii's other stuff
You have to look in the altrock and folk scenes to get something close, some of Kaizers Orchestra's songs are very close to my ears, but they sing in Norwegian so your milage may vary.
The funny thing is, I remember seeing a behind-the-scenes video for Hellsing where Ishii basically said that he was told by the studio to "go wild" with the OST and do whatever he wanted. Which is probably why the Hellsing OST feels so crazy compared to his other stuff.
can you imagine the people that only watched the cgi dorohedoro anime and missed out on how fricking good q hayashida's art style looks in the manga
DISGUSTAN
The dorohedoro anime upsets me because cgi aside it's a very well done adaptation. But they just had to frick it up with that shit. They even use lots of 2d shots so we know how it could have looked had they gone full 2d
What's truly pissing me off is that it ends right before the major act when shit is about to hit the fan. I'm not delusional and I know I can't hope for a "true" 2d quality adaption of the manga in 2023 by Netflix.
Eh it doesn't bother me much that it ends there, not like it would do anything that comes after justice. Just enjoy the soundtrack and cute ebisu dancing scene.
It had a far better director than CSM. Interestingly both Drhdr and CSM did the many EDs gimmick, but the former seemingly took the budget of one regular ED and divided it into 6 parts and told the animators to just have fun with it, while the latter blew what I can only imagine is a substantial chunk of their total production budget on their EDs
He wanted it to feel more like a live action than an anime. Not an inherently bad decision on its own, but he lacked the skills to execute it well and chose a poor series to do it with.
Or in other words, moronic.

Both. He was inexperienced and had big ideas he couldn't realize
Nah. For as much as people shit on the anime, the manga has similar if not worse issues. >Starts off great, gets rushed as frick at the end. >Hanging plot-points and plot holes. >Characters get introduced and die off/get forgotten just as fast. >Introduces cool concepts then abandons/poorly wraps them up by the end. >Ends on a shitty anticlimax.
At least the anime had the excuse of ending on a cliffhanger with a clear season 2 continuation + studio troubles. Meanwhile the manga/Ultimate's issues are all on Hirano's laziness. Wouldn't be surprised if Drifters ends in the same way. The only reason people don't shit on the manga was because "it was the original vision" + "it has all the crazy fight scenes/memeable moments"
The only things the anime really fricks up with is with it's animation/art. But that's due to it's budget. Unless you're referring to Ultimate
Worst part is they did a trailer previewing the anime the year before and it aired and it was full of stuff that happened after what was adapted in the anime
IIRC that trailer either hinted at a Season 2, or alternatively was planned to be more faithful before Hirano's laziness made it impossible to adapt the rest of the plot due to how slowly the manga was progressing. Remember by the time the anime had finished, the manga was still in the Brazil chapter and had barely just revealed Millenium.
That's true, but that doesn't change the fact that the TV Anime was an interesting reinterpretation that tried to actually expand on the series' initial premise, that is the titular Hellsing Organization. We actually get to see how the paramilitary vampire-killing soldiers actually operate. Unlike the manga where they get cucked pretty much instantly and are reduced to ghouls after a few chapters.
I don't mind Ultimate/Manga, I just really much prefer the 2001 anime and am kinda tired of people acting like it's flaws are any worse than what Ultimate/manga had. Especially since Hirano's laziness led to an equally unsatisfying rushed ending.
Oh I agree. The TV captured a feeling that was missing in Ultimate. The TV made Alucard unironically the coolest fricking guy ever. The music of course carried a lot of that.
When that's your main character's theme you've done something right.
Oh yeah, then we're on the same page here. I was mostly responding to the guy who was saying that anyone who preferred the anime was a contrarian.
But in any case, yeah. The atmosphere was what was missing from Ultimate as well as how the anime expanded on some of the manga's less developed ideas.
>Hirano threw a shitfit at the anime adaptation after watching the first episode

This Kouta Hirano guy might actually be real otaku that succeeded. >Lazy >easily angered >autistic >owns lovedolls
And yet he made it because he can tell stories and is a good artist. He also seemed to have started in hentai. So he kind of lived the weeb's dream in a way.
Funnily enough I learned of a hentai artist who got out of the industry and started up his own manga series. I read a bit of it on mangadex and accidentally liked it enough to buy the first volume because the scanlators dropped it and I couldn't find a translation anywhere.

That's true. I don't even think that's necessarily a bad thing. In fact more power to him, it's just that I think people overinflated his vision far too much and treat the manga/Ultimate as being above criticism at times.
I do definitely respect the fact that he's an Otaku who made it into the industry though.

>I do definitely respect the fact that he's an Otaku who made it into the industry though.
Me too. I'm glad he's made it. I hope he's happy.
I will admit though that I feel that if Hirano finishes Drifters he might unironically revisit Hellsing Ultimate and it will either be the best thing ever or the worst thing ever with in between.
>but that doesn't change the fact that the TV Anime was an interesting reinterpretation
And that doesn't change the fact that the TV anime was without direction and meandered into a shallow grave.
I agree with you that the focus of the show being the Hellsing Organisation rather than 'Here's Alucard and a bunch of others' is cool, and I would totally watch that show, if it was actually well written and directed. 'Paramilitary organisation fights the supernatural' is a gold mine setting with basically limitless potential for interesting plot threads, but nobody seems to use it right.
Ultimately I like Ultimate better than the original series because it had better production value, but I prefer the premise of the original and would have loved to see a continuation of that as a side-series that takes place post-Ultimate, with Alucard and Integra being relegated to side characters, Seras filling Alucard's role of Big Red Plot Device, and a new protagonist cast, in the same universe.
>And that doesn't change the fact that the TV anime was without direction and meandered into a shallow grave.
I don't know. I personally thought the show did have a clear direction and left enough plot threads opened for a continuation. The ending especially felt like sequel-bait. It honestly didn't feel that directionless to me. Do you have any specific examples for why it felt directionless? >but I prefer the premise of the original and would have loved to see a continuation of that as a side-series that takes place post-Ultimate, with Alucard and Integra being relegated to side characters, Seras filling Alucard's role of Big Red Plot Device, and a new protagonist cast, in the same universe.
I kinda agree, but I'd much rather see Hellsing 2001 be redone as an alternate interpretation and with much higher production value and more time to write stuff out. Like Trigun Stampede except not Zoomerified or whatever. I'd keep Konaka as a writer since he can do well when he's not rushed. I don't think it being an Ultimate sequel would work out because
a.) You'd need the approval of Hirano and as shown here
Oh yeah, then we're on the same page here. I was mostly responding to the guy who was saying that anyone who preferred the anime was a contrarian.
But in any case, yeah. The atmosphere was what was missing from Ultimate as well as how the anime expanded on some of the manga's less developed ideas.

he's pretty picky about this kind of stuff.
b.) Ultimate writes itself into a corner by basically heavily implying all other major Vampires/threats as basically being eliminated by the end. At least 2001 implied a secret society of true vampires existed. Ultimate/Manga basically showed no indication of that being a thing. There's not much you can really do after that. It ends definitively.
Honestly if we really had to avoid remaking 2001, then maybe a prequel would be better.
>Black Lagoon's first video game is a shitty mobile browser game >Hellsing's first video game related project is a shitty CoD cameo >Trigun's PS2 game got canned in the 2000s.
Mangaka have more ownership over their creations than western comic artists for the most part, but he still is working under a publisher who can use Black Lagoon in whatever deal they propose, if the mangaka is focused on just drawing or doesn't care to follow what deals the publisher is arranging then yes he might know right away there is a browser game being made.
>Rei Hiroe wrote Hellsing doujin where Rip Van Winkle got raped by Soldiers for days >It ends with her eating a guy who wanted to save her simply because he was a Slav
I love Black Lagoon but Rei goes too overboard with the edginess in his doujins to the point where It's kind of silly and goofy. She was so weak that she couldn't break the tiny metal handicaps on her wrists but she had the strength to rip a grown man's body to shreds? He would just punch her and run away
I hate that fat bastard you wouldn't belive. Hellsing has an interesting setting, but that lazy slog called Hirano just kept being the lazy slog he is and fricked up the hole story the more he lost intrest in it. Plus making a volume every 3 year didn't help with continuity and cohesion. Lots of wasted potential
>WE'RE GOING HOME BROS MW3 WILL SAVE US >devs drop the biggest motherlode of off the wall ridiculous crossover skins in the month leading up to release >everything carries over

man, the character design really took a fricking dive between MW19 and this one, the later had a nice combo of clown shit, fantasy shit, tacticool shit, and milsim shit, MW22 is all clown shit, what the frick happened with the art team at IW.
I think I might be the only person that liked the original anime more than the OVA. Beyond the soundtrack being fantastic, I liked that it felt a lot darker and grittier than the OVA, which had a lot of comedy segments, brighter animation, and just in general felt really over the top.
you will be able to use MW2 weapons and operators in MW3 multiplayer, warzone, and zombie modes
Wait so MW3 has it's own separate Warzone mode? How does this carry over to the F2P Warzone? How is this even connected together? Is this like a Total War Warhammer situation?

Think of warzone as a separate entity from the multiplayer for both games. It will get updated to have MW3 content alongside MW2 content.
MW2 content (weapons, operators, etc.) will ALSO be usable in MW3's multiplayer. Everything carries over baring a few vehicle skins and throwable skins that won't exist in MW3.
Any somewhat tolerable COD streamers that always buy new dlcs and stream on xoutube or twitch? I need to see gameplay and commentary of this as soon as it goes live in order to instill the fear of god in me
just type in the skin and youll get 10 videos but be prepared for horrible pronunciations, fake hype, and the guys not even knowing where the character is from
They keep trying with those shitty streaming shows but there has yet to be a movie that really pulls in the big bucks. All it will take is one before Hollywood executives start scrambling to find any series they can get their claws on.
Capeshit's been reduced to pretty much just movies. Didn't the Demon Slayer manga outsell the entirety of DC and Marvel's comics combined a few years back?

Reminder that CoD vanguard did am AoT crossover
the titan gun is legitimately one of the ugliest things i have ever seen in a game
The mobile game had a Ghost in The Shell crosover
Anime is hot stuff and people who once would have scoffed at it are now latching onto it for relevancy.
Good god
Why?
Halloween
why not?
>Call of Duty gets a crossover with an anime franchise that hasn't been culturally relevant for a decade and was niche even when it was
This is the weirdest fricking timeline
I love Hellsing but I could not possibly have seen this one coming
Is this just a high level shitpost by somebody with a lot of money and good taste?
The original anime was very popular, I fricking remember all those Alucard forum avatars
b***h I WAS one of those forum avatars, but I wouldn't say that Hellsing was ever more than niche.
>Bruh Cold War has a fricking Touhou reference
no way
Imagine going back in time to tell people Alucard would be in Call of Duty.
i didn't watch hellsing but i definitely know the reason why i want off from this world
>anime is getting increasingly normalized
>call of duty is getting decreasingly super serious military setting
>AAA video games as a whole has entered new levels of greed no one could have seen over a decade ago, let alone generally accepted with little backlash, and sometimes even praised cause of crossover shit like this
and yet all I can do is laugh. It's gotten so bad that it's downright comical.
I just want my anime niche like it was 12 years ago
huh?
sovl
Are they doing something new will Hellsing? Seems like such a random collab.
Isn't there supposed to be a live-action adaptation in the works?
Allegedly but who knows, nothing came of Judge Dredd or Donnie Darko so it could be just something they enjoyed.
they WHAT!?
unless they add the gore factor were helps heads and arms just pop off i don't see the point
>I have lived to see Alucard, Homelander, Spawn, and Nicki Minaj fight zombies with the Super Shotgun and Chainsaw from Doom.
BITCHES LOVE CANNONS
alucard of duty
first messi neymar jr, codtubers, the boys then nicki minaj and snoop dog now ash, skeletor, hellspawn also are in
we fricking won codsisters
>Been waiting for a Hellsing video game for fricking years
>Or hell even a Hellsing mod for VTMB or Bloodrayne or whatever
>Closest thing is a DMCV Hellsing mod
>Despite this, Hellsing's first official video game debut is fricking Call of Duty
>A game series with gameplay that is literally the opposite of any of the crazy fight scenes we see in Hellsing (even 2001's)
>It's not even a standard Hellsing soldier, it's literally Alucard himself.
This is so fricking gay.
The hemorrhoid cherry on top of this shit cake is that they hired the fricking abridged VA for him
Bullshit. There's no way they hired the Abridged VA instead of Crispin Freeman.
That's just the 2001 Anime which had a lot of strange animation errors due to it's lower budget and being rushed to hell and back due to Hirano's autism.
That's not an animation error you fricking moron the dots are what's holding his glasses up. How are you this autistic
Yeah but it's not detailed enough to make it clear and looks goofy because of that. Plus the anime had other similar animation errors, you can look them up. This edit
would've probably been the best low budget solution.
PROOF NOW
>Nothing on IMDB
>No articles mentioning this
>Nothing on Takahata's Twitter other than some vague post
I smell bullshit. Where did you get this information?
How do you even know that when the entire announcement is just a footnote on Season 6 of Warzone changelog?
>Source: just trust me bro
Yeah that's not gonna happen, I like Takahata but Crispin Freeman is just a far superior va
I don't even give a frick about CoD but this makes my blood boil if it's true
bullshit
Source? as far as I know they haven't said who's going to be Alucard's VA for CODW.
Im not even mad, Takahata's performance was great
>VTMB or Bloodrayne
it should be a Gungrave mod if anything
Yeah but modding Gungrave is next-to-impossible. I am genuinely surprised no one had made a mod of Bloodrayne replacing Rayne with Seras.
There is a VTMB Alucard mod but it's broken and barely works.
Hellsing's first videogame debut would be some flash shit or Hellsing mods for Max Payne.
I'd happily take the max payne clone with Alucard
>Most powerful and dangerous vampire ever
>Looks like a crosseyed moron
Can't take this guy seriously at all
>Most powerful and dangerous vampire ever
Not so fast,
Vampire Dio is weak as shit compared to Alucard, hell, at least bring a vampire that can walk under sunlight.
The guy who did the death battle was a jojogay 100%
>Vampire Dio is weak as shit compared to Alucard
Ahem...
?si=zIyvt32SQN7W8kUs
Debunked
is this the new cope? How long until DIO will face Dracula anyway since he beat ganon a while back
Alucard is Dracula.
>is this the new cope?
shut up death battle nomrie.
That's DIO
Stupid stand Cals are the only reason he won
>They'd both be completely fricking raked by Vampire Hunter D, though.
How so
I'm not too familiar with the D novels, but I know of little tidbits.
I would assume most of that stuff is from Left Hand.
I think alucard would kill D, easily, even more so after he defeated the homosexual cat and became trully immortal.
DIO.
>Jojo crossover
Time has been stopped
im sure you are one of those death battle morons.
I like this aesthetic.
it's very aesthetic
I honestly like TV more than Ultimate because they focus more on Seras and Integra throughout the series instead of dumping all of their plot relevance to the latter half of the show.
Honestly same. That and the focus on the Hellsing Organization as an organized Vampire-killing military unit. Meanwhile in the manga and Ultimate the Hellsing Organization gets killed off after the first volume and replaced with mercenaries. The slower pace and it being written by Konaka also really helped make it more interesting than Hirano's version.
I love the aesthetic of the original anime, literally one of my favourite artstyles, but it drops off rapidly after the mansion assault
Same. No shitty 3D effects and one of the best soundtracks for an anime ever.
It's been awhile since I've seen it but I think that's when they just start making shit up.
Yeah they started making the anime pretty early.
I think its worth watching just for the visuals and the music alone, but there are some cool ideas.
Personally I think Incognito is a really cool concept but he wasn't handled that great.
Worst part is they did a trailer previewing the anime the year before and it aired and it was full of stuff that happened after what was adapted in the anime
search and destroy makes sense now
Probably the earliest example I know of of what people call "pre-animated trailers".
The stuff the TV anime adapted was done better, it expanded on it well and it had a great atmosphere to go along with it. But once it went on it's own path it shat itself.
It also had one one if the best soundtracks of all time
?si=zK9plyVUdsFA3N5R
fixed
Alucard low-diffs him.

Vampire rite of passage to spend some time as a little girl.
If you're a huge homosexual that is
Don't wanna hear that from a gay retconned into once being called Mathias.
Girlycard sexo.
Life in captivity by the Turks definitely broke him psychologically.
Funny thing is, that historically never happened. Dracula/Vlad was too ugly to be molested. Instead that happened to his younger brother Radu (nicknamed The Beautiful) who ended up falling in love with Mehmet and tried to kill Vlad later on when Mehmet ordered him hunted down after Vlad started to stir shit up in Wallachia.
i miss when this guy didn't draw weird tube nips
He looks like Ozzy with a big hat actually
>Most powerful and dangerous vampire ever
Not so fast

>Most powerful and dangerous vampire ever
nope
sotn drac looks stoned out of his mind
you DO know Alucard IS also the original count Dracula/Vlad Tepes, right?
if anything, Castlevania drac (or any drac for that matter) and Alucard would be on equal standing.
At least post his real form.
crosseyed morons are the most dangerous people you can find though??
he pulls it off
Is there a 3d model of the main female from this anime?
When the FRICK is Drifters coming back?
This
I need more historical people who look like hot twinks for some fricking reason
Why do they ALWAYS make her blond? She was a tanned shortstack with black hair, how do they keep fricking this?
european = blonde
please and understand
I have a feeling the Kouta Hirano wanted the character to resemble Seras Victoria in a very subtle way.
They both are short haired blondes. Just spitballing a guess.
>He wanted a French girl who battled the English to look like a English girl from his series
Now that's just insulting
Don't you know? Every characters in his mangas are the same characters with some slight modification.
>very subtle
kek
it did a while ago
Anon, even the manga hasn't had an update in years
it just updated last month
Oh shit really? Nice. I guess the state of the gaming industry has gotten bad enough that Hirano has nothing left to play and got back to work.
I just want to know if the bad guy is Jesus that's literally it and then I can not care about this weird ass bullshit ever again
The bad guy is 100% Jesus, the author has made that very clear but he doesn't want to say it out loud.
How fricking original.
Name 5 other times that's happened
i only read like the first 2 issues.
was the secret bad guy with the hood hitler?
No it was Jesus Christ. Literal Jesus Christ.
frick I remember that I originally expected him as well when I read how people who die suffering like joan the arc come back, lol
No Hitler basically founded the current dominating human kingdom and then killed himself, the hooded guy is probably Jesus
Due to acute AMV exposure in my youth I literally cannot think about Hellsing without hearing Good Charlotte's "Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous". That's all.
I hear 'Remedy' by Cold
It's still on my playlist all these years later, even though it's trashy emo rock.
It's funny how this stuff works.
'alternative polka' and 'i think I'm a clone now' by Weird Al both remind me of Evangelion AMVs
I just hear the show's music.
>Call of Duty battle royale between Alucard, Lara Croft and Nicki Minaj
Society is collapsing.
Kino
I seems like Cod is in decline so they have decided to administer pop culture injections, like fortnite does
alucard was pop anime culture over a decade ago
Doesnt get any more random than that
>a decade
the remake started 17 years ago, old man
that would be over a decade yea
sure and jesus was born at least a few days ago
correct
>hellsing
>pop culture
The thing has been dead for 10 years. This seems more like personal goal if anything.
It's the other way around. No one gives a shit about Hellsing or Spawn or Jigsaw. Seems like CoD is doing so well that some higher up boomer was given free reign to burn money on stuff from his childhood.
Those properties are cheap as frick to collab with. There is a reason almost every single cod collab is the same as the ones mortal combat get
>tmnt (this was injustice but still)
>The boys
>Scream
>Texas chainsaw massacre
>Terminator
>Spawn (todd loves money)
>Evil dead
Most of them are beloved late 80s early 90s pop franchises that are mostly trying to revive their ips
Huh now that you mention it its pretty crazy they are mostly the same. Lara croft also eandomly shows up in anything
>TMNT
>Scream
>The boys
Notice how its almost the same ones and i even forgot about rambo which was in both too
I bet my ass if cod wanted predator or alien collabs it would be easy as shit to get them
they already had Predator in ghosts
I mean, getting a frickton of kids to play around with The Boys characters in their favorite videogame is a surefire strat to get a bunch of amazon prime video subs when the new season drops. Same for whatever dead ip studios are trying to get people to watch in cinemas this year for halloween
Are dipshit kids on smartphones and internet so much that they also dont know how to pirate media or even jailbreak phones to make it so adds dont even exist anymore?
You know well that ad spam on social media doesnt work as well as "holy shit is that homelander from cod yo thats fricking sick fr"
>Same for whatever dead ip studios are trying to get people to watch in cinemas this year for halloween
How have you missed all the saw X adds? And are they doing a saw Collab
Although with that said I'm guessing that dead by daylight should see another wave of pig nerfs.
Anon he's saying that for the most part writers in Japan has more control over their IP then writers in the west and that is entirely true. Create a new series for shounen jump and it's yours, create a new series for DC and it's owned by DC. create something for Imagine comics and that's yours
>And are they doing a saw Collab
They already did one back in 2020. I guess it was for the reboot or something
>The homelander beheads nicki minaj with its laser eyes just as leo messi round house kicks lara croft but wait here comes aluccard from helsing and he just kills them both using the dual kamas from warframe which he looted of the corpse of skeletor from he-man
Ultimate showdown shit
And still the best skin in the game is that anime chick with fully modeled exposed armpits that speaks only japanese
who
The frick is that outfit even?
it was ai generated
The pants frick it up but she does have some great traps ingame
>originally called Izanami
>later changed to "Izzy" because cod players memed about reading her name backwards (yes, really. devs don't know basic jap deity)
>voice acting is just some other operator's jap dub recycled onto her
This game is a mess even for cod standards.
$20 skin btw
Have you guys not seen that skin thats just the mask of one of the operators (konig) put on top of a different one (stiletto)?
What? Thats just a uniform given to a female and its not the same either.
>This game is a mess even for cod standards.
Its a shame since shooting dudes still feels good
didnt they change her name because of americans got mad
yes moron americans who play records backwards for satanic messages read "izanami" backwards as "imanazi"
Which one? Asking for a friend of course.
>Kevin durant alley ups from behind
>this is the ultimate showdown
>in call of duty history
>good guys bad guys and lootboxes
>Ultimate showdown
That hit me right in the nostalgia. Rip flashportal.
>Ultimate showdown shit
Well last year they got godzilla so
>first game to receive a Hellsing crossover of any kind is game with autistic gun attachment customization
Now you know what he has been doing instead of FINISHING DRIFTERS
>DRIFTERS
Is it a good manga series/anime to get into?
>Hellsing The Dawn might as well be considered cancelled at this point.
yes
I only watched this show because there was a femboy archer.
Drifters is a lot of fun, but you have to go in with two expectations:
1. It is NEVER going to get a conclusion, and most likely not even a second season
2. It's full of really obscure Japanese history trivia that even a turbo-weeb isn't very likely to understand. Just accept that when Toyohisa and Nobunaga start talking among themselves, you aren't going to know what the hell they're talking about.
its one of the few isekais where the MC isnt a complete b***h
The old anime's soundtrack was basically its own Genre, always wanted more of that style but never found anything similar, not even Ishii's other stuff
You have to look in the altrock and folk scenes to get something close, some of Kaizers Orchestra's songs are very close to my ears, but they sing in Norwegian so your milage may vary.
The funny thing is, I remember seeing a behind-the-scenes video for Hellsing where Ishii basically said that he was told by the studio to "go wild" with the OST and do whatever he wanted. Which is probably why the Hellsing OST feels so crazy compared to his other stuff.
manga > anime
Only gays say the contrary. Anime is cringe
can you imagine the people that only watched the cgi dorohedoro anime and missed out on how fricking good q hayashida's art style looks in the manga
Just enjoy the soundtrack and cute ebisu dancing scene.
i thought it looked pretty good for cg.
The CG's pretty decent as far as CG goes, but yeah, it's painful given that almost everything else in the adaptation is done perfectly.
I mean even tho its MAPPA, its not as bad as fricking CSM
It had a far better director than CSM. Interestingly both Drhdr and CSM did the many EDs gimmick, but the former seemingly took the budget of one regular ED and divided it into 6 parts and told the animators to just have fun with it, while the latter blew what I can only imagine is a substantial chunk of their total production budget on their EDs
Was the CSM director new? moronic? Both?
IIRC that trailer either hinted at a Season 2, or alternatively was planned to be more faithful before Hirano's laziness made it impossible to adapt the rest of the plot due to how slowly the manga was progressing. Remember by the time the anime had finished, the manga was still in the Brazil chapter and had barely just revealed Millenium.
The manga is just a bunch of really cool shit kinda strung together.
>Wait really? Source? I want to read about that.
It's from me google translating the Japanese wikipedia so take it with a grain of salt, but there's a whole entire section that catalogues his sperg-outs online which are also about other subjects.

I don't think it being an Ultimate sequel would work out because
a.) You'd need the approval of Hirano and as shown here
he's pretty picky about this kind of stuff.
b.) Ultimate writes itself into a corner by basically heavily implying all other major Vampires/threats as basically being eliminated by the end. At least 2001 implied a secret society of true vampires existed. Ultimate/Manga basically showed no indication of that being a thing. There's not much you can really do after that. It ends definitively.
Honestly if we really had to avoid remaking 2001, then maybe a prequel would be better.
Meanwhile
>Black Lagoon's first video game is a shitty mobile browser game
>Hellsing's first video game related project is a shitty CoD cameo
>Trigun's PS2 game got canned in the 2000s.
>his reaction on twitter seemed confused more than anything
does he not own the IP?
Mangaka have more ownership over their creations than western comic artists for the most part, but he still is working under a publisher who can use Black Lagoon in whatever deal they propose, if the mangaka is focused on just drawing or doesn't care to follow what deals the publisher is arranging then yes he might know right away there is a browser game being made.

I love Black Lagoon but Rei goes too overboard with the edginess in his doujins to the point where It's kind of silly and goofy. She was so weak that she couldn't break the tiny metal handicaps on her wrists but she had the strength to rip a grown man's body to shreds? He would just punch her and run away
hasn't that manga not progressed for decades and only like 40 chapters?
Not only is Black Lagoon still ongoing, but it even shows up on the top sellers list when a new volume comes out.
Pic related is from 2021.
Read Gunmania
why has this site started to shit itself with loading images as soon as the burgers wake up?
>why has this site started to shit itself with loading images
thought it was just me
Been like this for a while now. They fricked up the site sometime in august
I still haven't read the hentai Hellsing prototype.
lots of dweebs taking hellsing more seriously than the creator himself itt
all hellsing girls are sex even alucard
Not really considering Hirano threw a shitfit at the anime adaptation after watching the first episode.
>Hirano threw a shitfit at the anime adaptation after watching the first episode
Wait really? Source? I want to read about that.
Okay maybe it wasn't so subtle.
If you thought this crossover is weird, then how about the time Space Adventure Cobra crossed with Senran Kagura.
I will choose to ignore this and pretend modded DMC5 is an actual Hellsing game
How does this even work, does it give him new movesets or does he just have ebony and ivory and now also just randomly use demon sword dante etc.
Just a skin for Dante and E&I. You could just remove every weapon but the guns though if you want to full roleplay
>I'M SICK OF YOUR SHIT, HE-MAN!
>TIME TO FACE MY MOST POWERFUL WEAPON!!!!!
>A GUN!
>MYAH!
>These skins will be on MWIII day one
Imagine the milsimgay seethe
>WE'RE GOING HOME BROS MW3 WILL SAVE US
>devs drop the biggest motherlode of off the wall ridiculous crossover skins in the month leading up to release
>everything carries over
it's milsissy 9/11
back to /codg/
What about my boy Anderson
I want a game in the spirit of the old Wolfenstein games, in which Alucard and Walter are at war with the occult forces of the Third Reich.
?feature=shared
Let's go.
>We can take on the whole third reich!
>In a fight, right?
Alucard of Duty
>Call of Alucard
Zouvt
how much is my nga alucard gonna cost i would install it just for this would also nut if they added the major
20 dollars when mw2is already 60.
but if all you care about is the skin just get warzone since it's F2P and has the same shop
>mw2is already 60.
anon its 70
I love Hellsing, but that is moronic. Of all the games to put him in.
man, the character design really took a fricking dive between MW19 and this one, the later had a nice combo of clown shit, fantasy shit, tacticool shit, and milsim shit, MW22 is all clown shit, what the frick happened with the art team at IW.
I think I might be the only person that liked the original anime more than the OVA. Beyond the soundtrack being fantastic, I liked that it felt a lot darker and grittier than the OVA, which had a lot of comedy segments, brighter animation, and just in general felt really over the top.
other than incognito it was fine
I wonder how they will handle his execution move, is he going to use dog
>not a world war 2 game
What a fricking waste
Alucard getting his shit kicked in by Nicki Minaj is gonna be some delicious karmic justic
then Messi comes up and executes Nicki
And then Gandalf the grey and Gandalf the white...
And Monty Python and the Holy Grail's black knight...
Ok, who is the Ganker weeb that got a high raking position on the COD team and now it's putting all his shit tastes onto it?
yes, expect code geass collab next
I'm 100% that next collab is going to be fricking Gantz
Why is he stuck in a version of CoD that doesn't have Zombies?
MWIII has zombies and he will carry over
How will it carry over if it's all just Warzone?
everything you did or bought will carry over to the MP,warzone and zombies
Wait so MW3 has it's own separate Warzone mode? How does this carry over to the F2P Warzone? How is this even connected together? Is this like a Total War Warhammer situation?
They killed warzone 1. Warzone 2.0 is MWII and MWIII. No idea what will happen to DMZ
Until they say otherwise, it's safe to say DMZ is just gonna be the Zombies mode since they have the same basic conceit of big ass world, do missions, leave.
Honestly sounds better than the DMZ we have now
DMZ is basically attached to Warzone 2.0 its not going anywhere
>Warzone 1
Cool
>Warzone 2
awful
>DMZ
Cool
>Outbreak
I just don't know how this will turn out I just hope its fricking free like warzone.
Think of warzone as a separate entity from the multiplayer for both games. It will get updated to have MW3 content alongside MW2 content.
MW2 content (weapons, operators, etc.) will ALSO be usable in MW3's multiplayer. Everything carries over baring a few vehicle skins and throwable skins that won't exist in MW3.
you will be able to use MW2 weapons and operators in MW3 multiplayer, warzone, and zombie modes
>allucard and nicki prostitute are in the same game now
i never thought in a million years that prostitute will be much closer to anime
Any somewhat tolerable COD streamers that always buy new dlcs and stream on xoutube or twitch? I need to see gameplay and commentary of this as soon as it goes live in order to instill the fear of god in me
just type in the skin and youll get 10 videos but be prepared for horrible pronunciations, fake hype, and the guys not even knowing where the character is from
?si=qZzVarTsxAUGmx9F
just go to youtube
How the frick did Jotaro survive these punches if they are FTL?
He's a israelite, like all vampires.
mutt brain

How much longer until capeshit dies and anime and manga becomes the next big thing to milk for cinematic universes?
Never.
its already happening with one piece
They keep trying with those shitty streaming shows but there has yet to be a movie that really pulls in the big bucks. All it will take is one before Hollywood executives start scrambling to find any series they can get their claws on.
Capeshit's been reduced to pretty much just movies. Didn't the Demon Slayer manga outsell the entirety of DC and Marvel's comics combined a few years back?
shounen is capeshit for weebgays
I hope that they are going to make the girls playable as well and add sexy outfits
Reminder that Integra died a virgin
We don't know that. Yeah she's like 50 but she can still get it
Does Vincent now sound like Alucard?
Sex with Seras
Frick 12 (without a condom)
Sex with Rip Van Winkle
More like Sex Van Winkle
cause he was born that way? fricking idiot
It's not nice to call someone an idiot just because they were born with tiny eyes
