I had plenty of games I was either looking forward to release or just sitting around on my wishlist, waiting for a sale to happen, that I ended up just immediately getting rid of. And the devs themselves were always at fault for that cause of some moronic garbage like the one in OP's pic did

Because it's not restrained by lack of technology. The values and worldviews we hold dear today will make no sense in 200 years when people will live with their minds uploaded on some server for instance. Will our physical matter as much in 2230 in this circumstance for example? Etc.
