i prefer the superior option. btw, what JLPT test level are you preparing for ATM? me is currently studying N4 and N5 vocabulary.

Honestly I lost my way like a year ago. I managed to get through Genki 1, started with 2 and a decent amount of vocabulary on Wanikani. Yes I know there's Anki. But I liked the context and stuff.
At most I could understand NHK Easy articles reasonably with a dictionary in hand.
I did it for fun and wanting to study any language. Rather than a particular level of fluency.

There is literally no point to taking the N4/5. These tests exist purely for morons doing crappy college courses to get milked out of money for a progress report, you can pass them in a week.
You will never have to write anything by hand. You'll constantly need to type things in. Guess which is more important?

yeah i know. i plan to finish N4 and N5 this week and move on, hopefully a month more would be sufficient enough to prepare me for N3

Language isn't about tests. Passing N1 doesn't mean anything, you can study just what you need for it and still be functionally moronic and totally incapable of forming a sentence. Stop memorising textbook Japanese and start learning real Japanese.

I have seen enough arguments where people insist on all kinds of different ways to study.
You need to use book a instead of b. Deck 1 instead of 2. People insisting on writing by hand as the best way to retain words.
Needing to be fluent in X amount of months "because I managed and you're just a shitter if you can't do 200 words a week."
So many versions. It's tiring, literally study at your own pace. As long as you're making progress.
Yes, I am mad.

Kanji killed any strong interest I had in learning the language, especially when I found out they had more than 1 meaning and it depends on what location they are next to another character.

Them being read differently is a bigger issue to me.
But the characters having different meanings depending on the order is literally how words work.

it's the opposite for me, learning moonrunes and seeing how they work in different situations is quite interesting. for example 赤 originated from a pictogram of a man being burned to death. the chinese are a weird bunch man
That's like the first thing you learn. I learned that shit when I was 10 years old have a nice day have a nice day have a nice day have a nice day have a nice day have a nice day have a nice day
It shows the innocence and purity of the heroine. While throwing both the protagonist and heroine into a light hearted yet precarious situation that can show off some of their personalities. In what's overall a slightly humorous package. While also showing the player how visually attractive the characters are.
This is unironically why it keeps happening. And that's a good thing.
Japs value innocence and youth in women to the extreme. they want to see breasts, but if the girl is seduced into showing them (Japs also don't know how to do this, they'd rather jack off to porn), then she's viewed as a bawd or at least lost her innocence. by making it an "accident" that the MC falls on the girl or stumbles into their bathing session, they keep their innocence. this explains e-girl as well as their high levels of molestation
NISA localizes the franchise so you're fricked either way.
There's some fan translations in work for the PC versions, but you're going to have to wait a long time if you go that route.
You'll wait less by learning japanese, that's how long.
I once plugged an anime girl's intakes with tissue while she was napping. She overheated within about five minutes and started venting out a toxic opaque gas that set off the smoke alarms. We ended up having to evacuate the whole building. Anime b***hes are crazy.
You'll come across more similar "action+方" words eventually. Which just describe the way something is done. In the previous case. Way of reading. But also things like how something is made 作り方, way of thinking 考え方, way of swimming 泳ぎ方 etc.
If I wanted to input them in ime would I just hit the quotation mark button

I don't have an American keyboard, so I don't know how you guys do the quotation marks.
On Japanese IME, I can call the symbols by pressing the keys between the 'P' key and the 'Enter' key.
Japanese pervasion is persistently childish and unoriginal. Its like someone repeating the same joke over and over and over and over again. Its always the same shit but with different characters.
Are you implying western women wouldn't fall into a state of panic when a male has a unsolicited view of their naked bodies? Now that I think about it, that sounds about right. They'll just bottle it up and then claim you sexually assaulted them 20 years down the line.
>he can't imagine the beauty that lies beneath the towel with pure imagination
The armor is gone. The clothes are gone. And you still need more? Jeez, no wonder this cliche only exists in japan. Nips are a level above the rest of the world.
>instead of creating new words >jap fricks copied chink hieroglyphics and used them to put lots of different words into each scribble
Why? No seriously, why?
Its ok. 3rd game in Sky is where it peaks, and it strictly goes full moron after that. If you enjoy the full moron you will definitely enjoy the rest of the series
It's worth getting into Sky at least if you enjoy some comfy kino with great world building. Really goes to shit in cold steel so bewwre of that if you think of continuing.
Yes, but it requires a huge time investment, also if you start and enjoy Sky and Crossbell you might not like Cold steel.
Sky FC is very slow and nothing really happens until the end, but it's the most comfy jrpg I've played with great ost and the overall sense of journey.
It was shilled for years by the troonylators from the discord because they saw it as their ticket into the industry. Which it was and then the lead homosexual killed himself kek
I think Zero was fine. I liked it because it reminded me a lot of FC. Azure was weird, the escalation during the 2nd half was a bit too much for me to digest. It had very strong high points though, which I think is why people like it. I still dont like how Mariabell ended up being a moustache twirling type villain, you'd think she has better motivations other than being a psycho lesbian and an alchemist
>English players had a completely made up moron Estelle >creator later says he was embarrassed by Estelle and Josh so that romance went out the window
IMAGINE being a Trails 'fan'
Most people are bad. Japs are no different.
FPBP. I hope Japanese humor dies. I absolutely cannot stand these tropes.
Is it true that japanese can't into sarcasm?
>i hate <Japanese thing>
>but i will continue consuming <Japanese thing>
>and demand to kill the <Japanese thing>
Why are they like this?
I am deeply disappointed how much pandering toward male heterosexuality Japan still engages in.
Because they are based.
On what?
KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ONICHAN HENTAI!!!!!!
>KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
That literally what she says kek
Ki+ya+aaaaaaaaaaaaaa+tsu
>きやあああああつ
that's a っ not a つ though
>learned about sokuon
Holy shit, thanks
you literally learn about it on the 7th page of japanese textbooks for beginners
if you haven't already, set your IME up so you can type japanese with your keyboard and learn a little bit more about how characters are used
when you press on spacebar twice after you typed some characters, it will show you a bunch of options to pick from kanji
or just buy a textbook

I just came here to cringe on you
g, get back to your fricking grammar guide

>NBR
Yeah why the frick do they have to be such pussies?
No exposed nips and vaj
Censored garbage
Also this
obscenity law: you're not allowed to show naked woman body.
Cus japanese developers aren't delusional like devs here (yet as it changes sadly)
Japanese games knows most gamers are men.
Men in certain age range.
>towel
ruined
it's kino every time
e-girls on instagram show less than that
what's the problem?
It's part of growing up and realizing/understanding sexuality. Those games are meant for teenagers
Shalom
whats the purpose of the little tsu at the end? i thought it doubles consonants
てっか tekka
そっこ sokko
きゃああああっ kyaaaat
Your 日本語 is very 上手
japanese homies be like
"Your Sun Book Word is very Above Hand"
RTK homies insect comparison "pronoun copula expletive moron".

Why aren't American games like this?
Japanese games are. French games are. Why aren't American games like this?
I take generic cliche like this over "I JUST MOVED SHIT WITH MY MIND!!!"
Why are japanese games like this?
Something about coomers paying up for the barest piece of visible skin
I love Japan so much bros.
I am more of a Bangladesh enjoyer.
Should I play these games on PS5 or PC? I know reverie is censored on ps5 so that one in pc but what about the cold Steel ones?
NISA localizes the franchise so you're fricked either way.
There's some fan translations in work for the PC versions, but you're going to have to wait a long time if you go that route.

Reverie isn’t censored
Yes, you can't zoom on the breasts on the PS5 ver, thats why I'm buying that one on pc
false
let me guess: you read that here
I saw a clip on youtube, but in that case I will consider the PS5 ver
Sky trilogy on PC or Deck if ur a homosexual. PSP if you know moonrunes
Zero/Azure on Switch
Ow The Edge trails to Daybreak and beyond: PS5
>guy accidentally walks into girls changing room
>"kyaaaaaa!!"
>*gets hit with a frying pan*
I think it's really funny. I laugh all the time.
Imagine being a grown ass man and enjoying this juvenile shit
Unironically enjoying things is a very grown up, real man trait
Why are modern westoids such manchildren?
>contrary to what society would have you believe, cartoon teenage ecchi gags are highbrow and hilarious
Imagine being a grown ass man and NOT enjoying this juvenile Kino, only a homosexual wouldnt
Gotta make time to watch the tenth installment of the fast and furious franchise
IMagine being a grown ass man and posting on this board
it was just trying to ape popular anime of the time which constantly had that in the early/mid 00s
Because they speak japanese, moron
They realize the importance of proper ventilation.
Why is it that hair intakes are most common on morons? You'd think all that overheat protection would make their brains run faster.
bump

>Anon who doesn't read his amime girl user manual almost burns down his home
She looks like she is built for BBT (big beta tentacle)
tfw still 日本語下手
I’m proud of myself for being able to read this. Not sure exactly what the latter part says but I know what it means. Progress!
下手の読み方は「へた」"です
What does this’n say
The reading for下手 is "heta"
Thank you

Cool thanks
because they like kino
why is she yelling at juna when she is the one getting molested?
>Estelle and Joshua STILL didn't frick
Kondom should frick off from the studio at this point
>he thinks Joshua doesnt get pegged by Estelle every night
>Estelle dominating anyone
Joshua always took control when their relationships advanced

towel is more clothing than a normal swimsuit
>instead of creating new words
>jap fricks copied chink hieroglyphics and used them to put lots of different words into each scribble
Why? No seriously, why?
because japanese has a very limited number of phonemes, and thus tonnes of homonyms, writing nips in hiragana would be even harder to deficit
これは日本の掲示板ですか?
Why are "japanese learner" threads always the most embarrassing ones?
would you prefer a flamewar thread?
>Only new Estelle porn I see her her getting fricked by Zeit for whatever the frick reason
frick this gay earth
nip writing just refuses to take itself seriously
Is Trails worth getting into? Seems like a decently fun standard JRPG

Needs an edit where the last frame is Rean fricking Estelle in the ass
>Rean fricking Estelle in the ass
Rean canonically is a kissless virgin. Haha...
Absolutely not
.
>Estelle don't avert your eyes
That is an incredibly short torso.
She is rightfully looking worried and disgusted
This kind of art style was always off-putting to me. They look too detailed in the wrong way. Which doesn't fit with the surroundings
Kekua bros...
>Evolve art
Fricking trash. Estelle boobs aren't supposed to be that size.
How big are they supposed to be then breast inspector?
I swear to frick crossbell is overrated to hell and back
Azure is overrated, but Zero was comfy as frick.
Zero was ok, Ao is a flaming dumpster fire propped up by its chapter 2 (which is the best chapter in the series) but dragged down by everything else
It was shilled for years by the troonylators from the discord because they saw it as their ticket into the industry. Which it was and then the lead homosexual killed himself kek
the falcord is so moronic
why would we play a troonylation of a game that we already played years ago?
I think Zero was fine. I liked it because it reminded me a lot of FC. Azure was weird, the escalation during the 2nd half was a bit too much for me to digest. It had very strong high points though, which I think is why people like it. the problem is Ao had like 4 villains and only one was remotely compelling
Yeah that too. I didnt know where to focus, oh its Dieter, no ackshually its Arios, hold up its Ian but it was Mariabell all along
Luckiest man in Zemuria.
>Luckiest
Partially, Tita's mother needs correction.
>English players had a completely made up moron Estelle
>creator later says he was embarrassed by Estelle and Josh so that romance went out the window
IMAGINE being a Trails 'fan'
bu-but Ganker told me Sky was the mature story arc for mature gamers like myself, this is cold steel slop
