Why are Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask so much better than all other Zelda games?

I dunno you should be able to tell me why if you believe that

Made with passion and love, with a strong driving desire to innovate and push forward the entire industry during the advent of 3D gaming.

The late-1990s is generally considered the very peak of gaming history, with 1998 especially standing tall above the rest.

Less tutorial than the other 3D ones.
More character and story than BOTW
More explorable world and immersive than the 2D Zeldas.

Pacing, and even then MM can struggle with that at times. Everything later (minus BOTW or Link Between Worlds which are special cases) suffers horribly from this.

      >minus BOTW
BotW also fricks up pacing, but in a very different way. It totally eliminates the slog starts WW-SS were pulling with one of the best openings the series has ever seen, but then its entire middle section between the Plateau and Hyrule Castle is just a bloated repetitive waste of time.

Majora's Mask is paced really weirdly since the player is given little direction on what to do.
So a player could end up repeating a cycle or two before finding the route to the next dungeon.
And the first 3 day cycle is slow with having to be a Deku and whatnot.

But at least it's fun filled with tutorials and cutscenes every two seconds like Skyward Sword's and Twilight Princess's openings were.

I suppose the 2D games are also good at getting the player playing early, but those are the ones with the least story and exploration and context, so it's kinda different with them

    MM is terrible

OoT was directed by Miyamoto and MM was so crunch heavy that the devs sold their soul to it.

Koizumi and pure old fashioned Nintendo soul before they started fricking up and selling out to normalgays.

Because games in the Golden age of gaming where created with love and soul.
Black men in Suits did not exist back then that only cared about quick money.

because OoT was anti-muslim and that is based
and Majoras Mask was about impending doom.

Aonuma didn't have the time to push his shitty vision onto the series.
There is no one game that ruined Zelda, but one man who has been desperately trying to destroy Hyrule since 2002.

They were Dark Souls before DS existed, legit much more mature than all the Zelda that came after them.
Zelda later becomes either more cartoonish or more anime, but during the N64 games it was just a (dark) fantasy adventure with a warrior more reminiscent in tone of old Final Fantasy.

One of my favorite games is the original Warlords. You can play it on archive here: https://archive.org/details/msdos_Warlords_1990

These Zelda games share what makes this game perfect. The amount of technology for the idea/game its producing hits a sweet spot that is lost in future iterations. Warlords is like a Risk board game come to life. All future strategy games add layers of depth that often make them better video games, but they lose something special that this game has. 64 Zelda's have them. Better hardware and more complex gameplay and graphics do nothing to make what 3D zelda is trying to do any better.

I liked the ocarina and all the funny different songs you could play.
I liked the masks and all the different reactions you could get by wearing them.
I loved all the small holes you could jump into.

OoT is easily the worst zelda game though.
