Why are people so quick to beg for MH6? Sunbreak isn't even done updating. We know it will follow the World and Rise formula of a barebones base game, some updates, and then some years later finally getting G Rank and a decent endgame. Why do you want to start that process over?

Despite the base games paling in comparison to their respective expansions, they are still fun and offer a fresh experience.
Because 5th gen is coming to a close and I want to see whats next. Title updates can only pique my interest so many times before I sþop caring.
Because Rise sucks donkey nuts and I want another full budget MH game with anatomically realistic monster designs and extremely detailed fauna and environments. World is the only good MH
>anatomically realistic monster
you mean boring monsters?
Huge cocks, huge pussies
No i mean cool monsters because World actually has impressive and intimidating designs and animations because it has a sense of realism, the anime bullshit monsters with a billion stupid shapes and colors all over them fucking suck balls and you have no taste. go back.
Lol, as if worlds endgame wasn't full of that "anime bullshit" you hate.
I get the feeling world was you first, so I'll let you in on a secret. Endgame in all of the games is full of unrealistic shit.
>extremely detailed
that's a stretch
>World is the only good MH
There it is again
Why wouldn't PlayStation fans have played MHFU?
MHFU sold like 3 million copies despite PSP selling 90+ million units
And? I'm not even a Snoyboy, but I still owned a PSP and played MHFU.
Okay anon, but the point is the average normalfag wasn't interested in MH until World marketed it as a cinematic game with epic graphics
I sincerely doubt that. World may have outsold the rest due to its wide platform availability, but there was more than enough interest to keep the series going before it popped up.
So how come despite tons of people owning a PSP, Wii, 3DS and/or Switch, World was most people's first MH?
>appealed to graphicfags
>streamlined the gameplay
>gathering is almost non existent
>heavy marketing
>released on ps4, xbox and PC
And there you go. It helps that monster hunter has an addictive formula but if it wasn't for all of the above casuals wouldn't have ever bought into it. That's why they're still bitching about Altareon and Fatalis till this day for providing an actual challenge.
Its not my fault that your franchise has a great idea but couldn't make a single good videogame off of that idea until World came out and they actually put effort into making a real game for action enthusiasts and not a shitty singleplayer MMO for weebs and tendies
You can post more than that. Write paragraphs about your displeasure, please.
MHW is an outlier and I wish it wasn't made just so retards like you would quit stumbling into these threads with your half-assed takes. You don't like Monster Hunter, good for you cunt.
Rice and Sunbreak don't have the depth but discarded it to favor spastic monsters and MMO cooldowns (LE BUG ABILITIES) etc. While not bad as such I don't even consider Rice/SB to be real Monster Hunter games. The game has almost zero depth to it because everything is so streamlined and the retard spastic AI of the monsters (which is somehow even worse than in Iceborne) makes the game have any real consideration for the player except hack and slash plus cooldowns.
I just hate it, no offense.
World/IB was already so and so but at least it managed to be a MH title after all.
To be honest I'm not even excited about the 2024 Monster Hunter release because if Capcom continues this the next one will be even worse than Rice mechanically speaking...
Because Rise is almost over and if the trend now is World like games and Rise like games people want to see how much more detailed the next one will be
Personally I hope they take a year or so longer so things can be juggled easier and they can finally bring back Lagi
>Sunbreak isn't even done updating
I ignore Rise existence.
If the next MH is anything like World I'm going back to wrapping up my FU save.
And after that Frontier on a private server I think.
World sold a gorillion copies so the next game is World 2. Off to emulation purgatory, bitter cunt!
i dropped rise because the asian aesthetic was gay as fuck
world was alright, i enjoyed it up until iceborne; clutch claw filtered me, too repetitive and boring
i never made it to endgame in other MH titles
thanks for reading my blogpost
Because Rise was built for Switch and it shows
Also wirebugs are a little too ezmode
>We know it will follow the World and Rise formula of a barebones base game, some updates, and then some years later finally getting G Rank and a decent endgame
Don't talk as if you're a fucking person, Worldsperm
I really enjoyed World and I thought it was a great game that was better than Rise.
I think it was the slower-paced action that made me commit to all my actions whereas in Rise I felt like I had infinite get out of jail free cards.
Any of the older MH's a bit more like World in that sense? I am fine with and even enjoy crafting/gathering autism
There an even slower pace with more commitment, you can't even roll backwards.
